Synopsis
Synopsis: Takeshi Mori, a aimless 40 year Japanese man having retired early in life with riches now wonders through the empty city streets at midnight as usual wondering what to do with his life, but that is all shattered as while looking up momentarily he sees an unfathomably big eye staring down at him, with one blink to check if he's too sleep deprived he is gone in an instant. And when his eyes open again, a forest greets him as searing pain jolts him wide awake as on the back of his right hand is a branded symbol of a shield. What happened? Where is he? What is the mark on his hand and what are the increasingly loud howls and growls he can hear coming his way? Story takes place in a fantasy world called Ender with high level magic, fantastical races such as Fae, demons, angels, Undead, merfolk, beast man and more. It'll also have some romance but it'll be a slow burn and i mean SLOW burn. Also i would recommend reading the prologue to get the whole picture and not just jumping into chapter 1. And just a reminder but this is not just a story but the life of the character that is Takeshi Mori, so there isn't just random conflict constantly or too unexpected plot points and progression, i want to make it realistic as i can without boring you guys too much but it's my story so i can do whatever the hell i want. Either stay or leave. Person 1: Hey do you know where my dandelion is? Person 2: Um it's just over there. That's Your Dandelion right? Absolute Cinema: Those who know

Chapter 1 - Star Man

The last wolf yelped as it was bisected cleanly. But the man in question who cut the wolf had no sword or blade in his hand, it was as if the wolf was cut by a certain invisible sword wielded by a certain blonde king.

Looking down at the wolf's cut corpse and than at the other wolves which consisted of a corpse crushed to death into a red paste after he thwomped it with a barrier, one which became a sieve as it had multiple holes you could look through it after he made needle like barriers and shooting it through its body, another was compacted into a tiny ball of flesh, bone and blood after he trapped it inside a sphere and compressed it.

And the second to last was a bloody pulp as if beaten to death, which it was as takeshi covered himself in a armour barrier and punched, kicked and revelled in the brutality after getting a scare and being chased by them for a good minute after just being transported here.

And last but not least the last wolf which surprisingly didn't have any injuries, this being the case as while Takeshi was experimenting he thought of blocking air itself from getting inside the cube of barriers he trapped the wolf in and it worked, he couldn't help but wonder what more his power was capable of but for now he carried the intact wolf on his shoulder as he walked to a direction he picked randomly.

He was hoping to sell the wolf corpse as his coffers were as empty as his feelings in the situation he found himself in, while he may have shown to not have really panicked or stressed too much about it on the outside, a little bit of it was due to himself feeling this could still be a dream, a very realistic dream he might wake up from suddenly at any moment.

But if this wasn't a dream and he found himself in a different world than having something to sell in addition to it being the corpse of a wolf, it would surely show his power and make others not underestimate him.

Surprisingly carrying the wolf wasn't too taxing either, he deduced it was probably due to the mysterious energy flowing through his body, which was probably mana he thought.Walking through the undergrowth of the forest with the fauna and towering trees all around , memories of a distant past resurfaced.

At the age of 7 when he used to live in Hokkaido he would join his grandfather in hunting, he of course was too young to handle a gun, but his grandfather would sneak a bow and some arrows in the truck he had and make him get a few kills in, it was illegal but his grandfather said that he needed to experience it at least once for they were a generational family of hunters and that he will in due time do the same for his children just like his father taught to him.

After getting some kills he was taught to skin, gut and butcher the deers and game he and his grandfather caught, it was pretty bloody and the first time he smelt that amount of intense blood he nearly puked the breakfast he had that morning but managed to hold it in, his grandfather laughing at the side.

Shaking his head Takeshi laughed a bit at his childhood, after a while though his smile dropped as he hadn't seen that gruff and grumpy person for years, not to mention if he couldn't go back and this wasn't a dream at all he wondered who would visit or clean the head stone of the old man, the nagging trout or even his parents who while he didn't particularly like he couldn't say he disliked them either.

After dropping the wolf corpse Takeshi clapped his cheek, snapping himself out of his reverie. Dwelling on the past wasn't like him, he pushed those memories to the back of his mind as his calm exterior returned.

Fwoooooo. Inhaling deeply Takeshi back to his usual calm and focus he knew that he should accept his new reality sooner than later and if there was a way to return later than he'll find it out later and that he should prepare to live in this new world for the rest of his days if he couldn't find a way back or settled in too deep after a while.

Bending down and slinging the wolf on his shoulder again Takeshi soldiered on, hoping he finds civilisation before nightfall as while those wolves were easy to take care of, he knew that they were likely on the weaker side of the echelon in this forest as they didn't use any magic or ability which if the previous wolves were able to he knew that his barriers wouldn't have been able to hold against that kind of power.

Fastening his pace Takeshi sped up not wanting to find out if this forest housed only regular animals or had more monstrous friends he could meet.

Meanwhile in another part of the forest with the sky a orange glow as night was beginning work. A young woman of tall stature and bunned up brown hair stood amid wolf corpses with charcoal fur scattered around her, facing up against a black wolf standing at the height of 2 meters with multiple arrows puncturing its whole body but seemingly not phasing it at all.

Reaching towards the quiver on her back she counted 3 arrows left. Seeing how the situation was turning sour as even if she had killed the lesser wolves, the alpha was on a whole other level as unlike the charcoal fur skinned wolves it was fully black, meaning it had awakened to mana and could use skills.

It hadn't used it even once in their encounter though, even when its pack members died one by one it only stood and watched as they tired her out and got a few cuts here and there. She didn't know how but it almost even seemed like the wolf was smiling at her for a split second but she chalked it up to her mind playing against her.

She worried about what's its ability could be for a while now but she couldn't stand around doing nothing and bleed out to death, fortune favoured the bald after all! Even if she couldn't kill the wolf she hoped to cripple it, as for the last three arrows she had left she would infuse it with the mana she had saved even when up against the pack previously.

The wolf sensing the imminent final struggle of it's prey also got ready, emanating mana outwards that even the woman could feel meters away from it, giving her a ominous feeling but ultimately not deterring her as she ran towards it, wanting to shoot her arrows infused with mana point blank to maximise lethality and potential to cripple it.

As she got into the wolf's range it swiped its right paw in a wide swing, the woman having already predicted it was already out of harms way as soon as she saw it raising its paw, taking the chance she exploded forth, bow raised she shot a mana infused arrow towards the wolf's eye.

But in that moment, the smile returned on the wolf's face as the ominous feeling the woman felt rang true as the arrow bounced off its eye lid, the wolf same as the woman took that moment to lunge at her and chomped down, only managing to snag her pinky finger on her left arm as she wasn't slow to act either and backed off, not fast enough to not sustain damage but still fast enough it wasn't her hand or whole arm that was snagged instead.

The woman nearly dropped her bow after backing off, not because of the pain which she was used to by now but due to losing her pinky finger she lost some of her grip and stability of her hold.Gritting her teeth she exploded to the left and fired off a arrow once again as the wolf appeared where she once stood not a second later, this time she aimed towards the ear, hoping to disorientate it for a second.

And her aim landed true as the arrow once again bounced off but this time the wolf only partially used it durability enhancing ability due to the surprise and speed of the arrow which was faster than last time. Disorientated, the wolf howled in pain and staggered for a few seconds, seconds enough for the woman to circle around him and slide low to aim a shot at where the sun doesn't shine.

Boom! The arrow infused with the last of her mana and more as she forcefully overdrew more from her body caused the arrow to break the sound barrier and land a bullseye.

HOWL!Collapsing from symptoms of mana withdrawal in addition to her own aching and bleeding body the woman smiled as she watched the wolf thrash and howl in agony.

But her disappointment was evident on her face once the wolf quietened down and turned in her direction, blood in its vision as it glared with all its might at her, not letting her out of its sight and emitting waves of thick mana, signifying that it was using all its might to reinforce its body, not wanting to take a chance again.

As she watched the wolf with sky towering bloodlust, the woman looked to the skies, wanting to at least see the stars now that the afternoon sun had gone down and the night had settled in, it was what she loved doing the most in life and what she wanted to see in her moment of death, in that brief moment faces flashed through her vision while looking up, but she couldn't help but blink twice as she found in the stars above a man falling down with both fingers in each hand interlocked, aiming towards the wolf's path.
