"Where am I"
Nathan found himself in a unfamiliar "room". He found himself laying in a antique bed maybe from the early 2000's and from every point away from the bed is an endless white expanse. The only sound that could be heard is the creaking of the metal bed frame.
'I thought I was in the taxi, what happened?'
"Hello" answered the void.
Nathan panicked at the new sound, "WH-WHO ARE YOU?!, SHOW YOURSELF!"
"As you wish." The next moment a human figure made of pure darkness started walking towards Nathan from the horizon. Nathan blinked and suddenly the figure was right in front of him. "Boo!"
Nathan stumbled to the floor in shock. He can't believe what he just saw, let alone the situation he is in. 'How'd I end up here, who is this mysterious figure, AND WHY IS HE TOYING WITH ME?!'
"Who the hell are you?! Don't you know who my father is, I'll make your life he-"
"Do you really think that matters right now?"
What did the guy, girl, whatever this is just do. Did it just cut Nathan Relix off? That's all Nathan could think of. Not the fact he could not even be on earth right now, let alone alive, nor did he think that this creature could either be his saving grace or his doom. It just cut Nathan Relix off, the biggest mistake of it's pathetic, lowly, insignificant life.
Nathan swung at the creature… only for it to pass through it.
The creature couldn't hold it back anymore.
"Hahahahaha!"
'What. How did my fist just go through him? Why's he just laughing at me. What's going on?'
The creature cleared its throat.
"What's going on is you've almost died."
All Nathan could do was stare blankly at the creature. How is this possible. How could I, Nathan Relix, almost die. That's impossible. I spent so much money to extend my life. I should've lived too 340 at least!
"How's that possible, I bought titanium implants to strengthen my body. I undergone too many biological surgeries to increase my lifespan. How the fuck do I almost die!?"
The creature chuckled at Nathan, pissing him off even more.
"Those half-assed surgeries were all for naught when you snort half of the drugs the cartel has to offer and drink a liquor store dry. Coupled with the fact you stop going to get maintenances on your bones led you to being crushed by a delivery truck."
Nathan stared past the creature. Realizing what's going on. Nervous about the answer to his question.
"Are you here to pass judgement on to me?"
The creature laughed even harder.
"No I would never do something as righteous as that, plus those silly religions you humans made up to entertain the thought of an after life are all fake. I'm here because I found your life hilarious. Trying so hard to appeal to daddy, I'll admit trying using his own creation against him was a good thought. It had me rolling on the ground laughing so hard I cried when he delegated meeting duty after all that hard work."
Nathan ignored the creature to not go into a blind rage. Instead he thought of what could possibly be going on. Is this monster going to toy with me, or even worse watch his failure of a life as a movie with him for the rest of eternity. Nathan shuddered at the thought.
The creature finally stopped laughing and put on a face so serious it made Nathan's heart stop.
"No I won't do either of those things, that would be funny though." The creature looked off into the distance as if to entertain the idea.
Nathan froze even harder, his pupils shaking in fear, 'How did it hear my thoughts…'
The creature stared at Nathan again.
"Don't worry about that, for now all you need to know is im giving you a second chance at life. Your entire goal: Survive. The only hint you have will be that the world you are about to go to is not the one you are familiar with. Good luck!"
Nathan didn't have time to question the creature because Nathan started falling.
"Waaaaaaaiiiiiii….."
Very quickly everything turned black.
