Kyra was talking and giggling with Valeria in bed when James suddenly returned. The two women immediately turned their heads to the opened door. Almost instantly, the smile on Kyra's face disappeared and was replaced with a rather awkward expression. Her entire being stiffened as she gripped the rim of her blanket.
All of the sudden, the shame came rushing in and her cheeks burnt red like a well-cooked crab. James raised an eyebrow in amusement. His eyes had been on her from the moment he entered the room, hence he quickly noticed the obvious change.
How cute, the man chuckled internally despite looking deadpan outside.
