A streak of lightning zooms out of the castle, heading to the cave. King Douglas sits with his hand on his forehead. "It's up to you now, my dear," he says as he moves the queen piece across the board. As he sets it down, Olivia kicks a hole into the top of the cave. The debris disperses Mukai's water cylinder, weakening the explosion.
The teens are relieved to see her, except for Mukai, who is afraid she will scold him for leaving without permission. Olivia turns to her sons and goes to hug them. Mukai, still anxious, asks if she's mad at him for disobeying their father.
Olivia smiles warmly. "Oh, I'm mad, but not at you."
Mukai senses a large body of water approaching.
Alicia: "So he sent her after all."
Sifiso quickly opens a portal for her to escape. Olivia watches her from the corner of her eye, hating her but knowing she cannot risk harming her. Alicia knows this too. This immunity isn't shared by the rest of her crew, though. The moment she steps out, Olivia dashes in, kicking a hole through Sifiso's torso.
Najo and Mukai watch in awe as Olivia slaughters the rest of the assassins. Meanwhile, Kangetsu sneaks out in an attempt to escape. Moto musters his strength and chases after him.
Sheu: "Moto!?"
Kangetsu has the lead, but he collapses as he's about to reach the exit. He begins to sweat profusely, his heart thumping as he feels his strength draining away. Moto catches up and starts emitting smoke.
Kangetsu, coughing: "I used too much blood again."
Moto: "It's over. Let us capture you."
Kangetsu: "Capture?" Screams and lightning echo from the main room. "Yeah, she doesn't seem like she's taking prisoners." He coughs again. "Let's work something out, huh?"
Moto recalls Alicia saying they all have reasons for why they do what they do, but Kangetsu does it for the love of the game. Even fighting them with a chilling smile earlier, it appears his fate is in Moto's hands.
Moto: "I don't like judging people, but you seem truly evil. I can't just let you back into the world."
Kangetsu: "Evil? I'm just following my heart's desire. Anything more pure than that?"
Moto remains silent, pondering.
Kangetsu: "There are a bunch of like-minded people where I'm from. Let me go, and I can take you there someday."
Moto: "The only way you're leaving here is if you can change."
Kangetsu, beginning to heal internally: "Yeah, I can't promise that, but—"
Moto cuts him off, smoke writhing and darkening in the cave. "Then it's over!"
Kangetsu: "Wait—"
Moto: "I don't wanna hear it."
Kangetsu: "You Emir's are so unreasonable."
Moto stops, confused and slightly afraid. "What did you say?"
Kangetsu: "Your brother is just as stubborn. At least he let me finish a sentence first."
Moto: "…."
Kangetsu: "C'mon, kid, you look just like him. Everyone who knows Asher would easily put two and two together."
Sheu calls to Moto from behind the smoke screen.
Kangetsu: "Look, I know some people who would use you as bait to get to your brother. Let me go, and I'll get 'em off your trail. Would be a shame if something bad were to happen to your friends because of you."
Moto, hesitant: "….go."
Kangetsu gets up, grinning. "See you around. And tell Asher I said hi." Kangetsu goes behind the cave and makes his escape.
As Sheu arrives, she finds Moto standing there alone.
Sheu: "He got away?"
Moto looks down, silent.
Sheu: "Don't blame yourself. You're lucky he didn't harm you."
Moto remains silent.
