He looked at her as she said, "Well Kael, you'll come with me to my house. I want to see if my father will actually burn me alive." She grinned and he looked terrified at that idea. Lyra saw his face, "Don't worry he won't do anything to you. I'll make sure of it." She grabbed Kael's arm, "Follow me."
As they ran through the forest Lyra saw all different kinds of things she was also mesmerized but they way Kael always reacted. She couldn't help but laugh. When they were outside the door of the house she turned to him, "Don't show fear. He will bite off your head then." He whimpered and she smiled at him.
As she pushed the door open she walked in with Kael's hand in her's. She walked passed her father and he yelled,"LYRA! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? AND WHO'S THAT MALE?" She didn't looked his way, "His is my friend father as for where I was... It's none of your concern." She continued to walk Kael behind her, het father then said,"Stop walking and tell me WHERE THE HELL WHERE YOU?" Lyra rolled her eyes and stopped pulling Kael closer to her, "Like I said father it's none of your concern. You have your perfect heir is on his way. I know you don't care wether I live or die. So I'll be going." She turned and walked to her room Kael following her as her father yelled, "You won't leave this house!!" She mocked him with her hand as she walked to her room.
Once they reached her room she packed clothes in a bag as she said, "He thinks he can keepe in here. Has he forgotten I am the one with the family power?!" Kael looked at her as she paced up and down in her room. He looked at her and said, "Why are you running away." She laughed and said, "I'm not wanted here. You saw how he is, I can't live like that. My father won't even allow me to have a mate so I irritating him by running of with you. I'm sick of being an object in this house."
She grabbed the bag in anger and stormed off. Kael followed her as she walked out of the house. She walked back into the forest, Lyra don't you think talking to him would be better?" She glared at him, "I've tried he never listens I'm only his useless daughter. I have no worth in his eyes." Tears rolled down her eyes as she sat on the ground, Kael walked over to her and gave her a hug, "Once you're done we can go. My parents have a wonderful cabin in the mountains where we can hide." She hugged him back and stood up, "Let's go." She followed his lead up the mountains.
