Chapter 1 - Beast Invasion

Aamir picked up his binoculars and gazed at the building across from him. To his surprise, Riya was looking right back at him. As soon as she noticed Aamir's gaze, she swiftly turned her attention away and began to whistle. Aamir couldn't help but chuckle at Riya's playful behavior.

Just then, a sudden explosion shook the ground, and the city's protection wall collapsed. Hordes of beasts poured in, overwhelming the guards. Despite their valiant efforts, the guards were vastly outnumbered and quickly overwhelmed.

Among the invading beasts were three Monarch-class creatures, notorious for their formidable strength. The beasts were categorized into seven levels, based on their power:

1. Feral Class: The weakest, easily taken down by an E-rank hunter.

2. Predator Class: Comparable to C-rank hunters.

3. Specter Class: Required a team of B-rank hunters.

4. Monarch Class: Solo creatures capable of destroying a city.

5. Legend Class

6. Titan Class

7. Worldbreaker Class, and finally, the Apex Class: The most powerful beings on the planet.

Rumors whispered that fifteen years ago, during the Great Beast Attack, these Worldbreaker-class creatures were involved, resulting in millions of casualties. No one had been able to defeat them.

The beasts that invaded the city included over 100 Feral-class, 40 Predator-class, and 8 Specter-class creatures. Aamir and Riya, both 15 years old, rushed out of the building to help evacuate the survivors.

Aamir, skilled in swordsmanship, charged into battle. Riya, knowledgeable in basic magic, fought alongside him. Together, they took down several Feral-class beasts.

However, their victory was short-lived, as a Predator-class beast emerged. Its long, crocodile-like snout and 12-foot height made it a formidable foe. Aamir hurled stones at the beast, but they barely left a scratch.

Enraged, the beast charged toward Aamir. With his sword, Aamir struck the beast, but it barely left a mark. The beast's resilience puzzled Aamir.

Just as the beast was about to attack Aamir with its razor-sharp tail, Aamir realized he had to think fast. The beast's relentless assault would not cease until everything in its path was destroyed.

"What is this thing made of?" Aamir wondered, gritting his teeth. "My full strength didn't even leave a scratch!"

The beast's tail swooped down, ready to strike. Aamir's fate hung in the balance.
