Chapter 2 - Beast Invasion (Part Two)

As the beast lunged at Aamir with its razor-sharp claws, a guard swiftly intervened, blocking the attack with his sword. However, the beast's sheer strength shattered the sword into two pieces, leaving the guard wounded.

Aamir quickly regained control of his energy, focusing it into his legs. With lightning-fast speed, he whisked the guard to safety.

"Are you okay?" Aamir asked, concern etched on his face.

"I'm fine, the wound isn't deep," the guard replied, wincing in pain. "But why did you intervene? I could have handled the attack."

Aamir smiled wryly. "You thought I was a child and needed protection."

The guard chuckled, despite his injury. "I didn't expect you to react so quickly."

Aamir called out to another guard nearby, who rushed to tend to the wounded guard. "Keep an eye on him and watch out for any more beasts."

As Aamir scanned the horizon, his eyes locked onto the beast's location. His adrenaline surged, fueling his reflexes.

The beasts' invasion had caught humanity off guard, leaving them vulnerable to attack. Even magic users struggled to defeat the monstrous creatures. Weaker beasts could be defeated with magic, but Specter-class and above were nearly invulnerable.

However, humanity refused to give up. Brave individuals discovered that their adrenaline hormone could enhance their physical abilities during life-threatening situations. Through science and training, they learned to harness this power, developing unique martial arts styles known as Adreno Arts.

Twelve nations formed, each led by powerful individuals who had initially succeeded in repelling the beasts. The entire human race rallied behind them.

The nations of Eridoria stood united:

1. Aryavarta

2. Valtania

3. Kyokai

4. Zhonghua

5. Aurora

6. Calonia

7. Galvia

8. Maravalia

9. Valkoria

10. Carnelia

11. Navarra

12. Danovia

Each nation developed its distinct Adreno Arts style, forging a new path for humanity's survival.

Aamir, a 15-year-old who had just begun learning Adreno Arts. His movements were swift but unpolished, his determination evident.

The guard watched Aamir with newfound respect. "You're not ordinary, are you?"

Aamir's focus remained on the beast. "I'll explain later. First, we need to survive this."

Aamir charged forward, his heart pounding. As he dodged the beast's attacks, Riya appeared beside him.

Riya raised her hand, unleashing a stream of fire magic that infused Aamir's sword. The blade shimmered with intense, fiery light.

"Use this," Riya whispered.

Aamir's eyes met Riya's, and with renewed confidence, he wielded the enchanted sword.

He dodged the beast's sharp tail and swiftly counterattacked. He struck the beast's legs, using the momentum to slide under its stomach.

In one fluid motion, Aamir combined his sword with Riya's fire magic, unleashing an unintended but powerful Arya Agni Jvala attack.

The blade sliced through the beast's defenses, cutting it into two parts.

The beast's defeated roar echoed through the landscape as Aamir stood victorious, stunned by his newfound abilities.
