Chapter 35 - Chapter 35: The Classic Villain, Gyarados

When the huge blue monster appeared in everyone's sight, the scene was dead silent for a while.

Then, after a few moments, someone's eyes widened in shock, and he shouted excitedly, "Whoa, Aron caught a Gyarados!"

"A real fishing master!"

"Quick, quick, take a video!"

After the initial surprise, everyone became extremely excited. Catching a Gyarados is pretty rare anywhere.

But among them, Paul frowned, staring at the ferocious creature with deep suspicion.

"Strange… isn't this place supposed to be free of Pokémon? So how could there be a Gyarados here?"

Among the hundreds of Pokémon, Gyarados is undoubtedly one of the most legendary.

As a young Magikarp, he once swam across lakes and rivers, often bullied by others, he was one of the weakest Pokémon.

But when he jumped over the legendary dragon gate, he transformed into Gyarados, and his fate changed.

Statistics show that only one Gyarados emerges for every hundreds of thousands of Magikarp.

"Roar!"

Gyarados's scarlet eyes blazed as he let out a ferocious roar, instantly snapping the fishing rod in Aron's hand.

[Pokémon: Gyarados (Water / Flying)

Potential: Gym-level

Level: 26 (Intermediate)]

Aron stared closely at the enraged Gyarados and cautioned Paul beside him, "Gyarados has a notoriously violent personality. we should leave immediately."

In fact, Aron didn't even need to say it; all the students present were some of the best in their classes. Once their initial excitement faded, they quickly remembered the danger that Gyarados posed.

It's said that when Magikarp evolves into Gyarados, its brain structure reorganizes, causing its personality to become extremely aggressive. When it goes berserk, it can destroy everything in sight, and its rage lasts for a very long time.

Because of this, Gyarados is the last Pokémon any Seafaring Trainer wants to encounter, followed closely by Sharpedo.

With only a glance at each other, the students subconsciously held their breath, stepping back slowly and silently.

But the furious Gyarados was in no mood to calm down.

As it watched the retreating students, Gyarados opened its massive jaws. Orange light gathered in its mouth,The searing heat surged as a hyper beam shot forth!

"Dratini, use Dragon Rage!"

"Wartortle, use Water Gun!"

"Riolu, use Rock Tomb!"

The students didn't hesitate. Seeing Gyarados attack first, they stopped retreating and threw out commands to their Pokémon.

"This is a Intermediate-level Gyarados. Everyone,be careful!" Paul shouted seriously.

The students' Pokémon were still only at normal levels, and there was a considerable power gap between their level and an intermediate Pokémon. And this wasn't just any opponent—it was a Gyarados, known for its terrifying strength!

"Don't worry, Paul! We can handle it together!"

"Yeah, watch this!"

All the students responded eagerly, their faces lit with excitement. With Gyarados attacking them, they now had a justified reason to engage in battle.

Newbie Trainers are always like this—daring to press forward, eager to fight.

An experienced trainer would have already bolted at the sight of such danger.

Aron then said, "Paul, something feels off about this situation. I think you should notify the security team."

"Better safe than sorry."

Paul froze for a moment, then nodded firmly. "okay."

He took out his phone and quickly dialed the number for security.

Aron tossed out a Poké Ball. In a flash of white light, Combusken appeared at his side. He was not the type to run away at the first sign of danger and return only once the situation was critical.

"Aron, your Combusken…" Luke muttered, his eyes widening as he noticed Combusken standing ready.

"Roar!" Gyarados's roar interrupted him, booming in their ears and cutting him off mid-sentence.

Their moment of reprieve was over; Gyarados attacked once more.

It reared its head and roared towards the sky, summoning a violent hurricane. The wind howled, the lake churned, and waves surged wildly!

"This is… Hurricane!" Aron said, narrowing his eyes in surprise.

An intermediate level Gyarados using Hurricane was unusual, to say the least.

But then again, seeing an intermediate magikarp evolving to gyarados was already a miracle in itself.

The raging hurricane swept towards the shore, and the gusts were so strong that the students squinted, struggling to remain standing against the wind.

In the eye of the storm, their Pokémon struggled even more. Many were lifted off their feet, tossed into the air, and then thrown to the ground, dazed and disoriented.

"Combusken!"

Only Combusken stood firm amidst the raging wind. Although its level wasn't far off from Gyarados's, its type disadvantage made it a challenging match.

Focused and determined, Combusken opened its mouth and unleashed a scorching Flamethrower that cut through the air!

Gyarados's large size made it an easy target; it was difficult to dodge incoming attacks. The Flamethrower hit Gyarados's chest directly, erupting in an explosion and leaving scorch marks.

However, Gyarados's natural resistance to fire made the damage relatively minor.

"Roar!"

Gyarados let out a furious roar and turned its attention to Combusken, its scarlet eyes cold. It slammed its massive tail against the lake, sending up crashing waves.

Seeing that he'd successfully diverted Gyarados's focus, Aron nodded subtly.

What others saw as a dire threat, Aron saw as a valuable opportunity for experience.

"Get your Pokémon healed. I'll handle the rest," Aron said, stepping forward with calm expression, his clothes fluttering in the breeze as he faced down Gyarados.

Behind him, Luke opened his mouth to say something but after hesitating, choose to remain silent.

Although the rest of the students had many doubts in their hearts, they kept their doubts in their hearts and moved the Pokémon to a safe place to heal their injuries..

When a savior appears, the first priority is not to question why he's become the hero, but to follow his lead.

Everyone could see that Aron's Combusken is very strong.

Just then, Paul shouted, "The security team will be here soon!"
