Chapter 5 - Chapter 5

Julian smiled as he walked me out of the office. "So, Luna, I think we've covered everything. You'll be starting as my personal assistant, effective immediately." He said

I nodded, feeling a sense of excitement and nervousness. "Yes, thank you again for the opportunity."

Julian chuckled. "I think you'll find that working for me is... enlightening. But I should let you know, you won't have an office here at the estate." He said again like the first time.

I raised an eyebrow, confused. "Oh? Where will I be working?"

Julian's smile grew wider. "You'll be working right by my side. As my personal assistant, you'll be with me at all times. Whether I'm in meetings, at events, or just working from home... you'll be there."

I felt a surge of surprise. "So, I'll be staying with you... at your home?" I asked

Julian nodded. "Yes, that's right. You'll have your own room, of course, but you'll be expected to be available to me at all times."

I hesitated, unsure of what to say. I hadn't expected this. But I knew I needed the job, and I was willing to do whatever it took to make it work.

"Okay," I said finally, trying to sound confident. "I can do that."

Julian's smile grew even wider. "I knew you were the right person for the job, Luna. Let's get you settled in, shall we?"

And with that, he led me out of the office and towards his waiting car. I felt a sense of trepidation as I realized that my new life as Julian's personal assistant was about to begin.

As we drove to Julian's estate, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. I was really doing this. I was going to be Julian Salvatore's personal assistant.

"So, Luna," Julian said, turning to me as we drove. "I know this is a lot to take in, but I want to make sure you understand the terms of your employment." He said

I nodded, eager to learn more. "Of course, Mr. Salvatore."

Julian smiled. "Please, call me Julian. We're going to be spending a lot of time together, after all…there's no need for all that." His teeth Shining like that of the stars.

I smiled back, feeling a sense of ease with him. "Okay, Julian."

"Good," he said. "Now, as my personal assistant, you'll be expected to be available to me at all times. That means no days off during the week, and no leaving the estate without my permission." He said his voice serious and firm.

I nodded, understanding. "That makes sense." I told him

"But," Julian continued, "I do allow my staff to have some time off. You'll be free to leave the estate on Friday nights, and you can have the weekends to yourself. Just be back by Sunday evening, ready to resume your duties." He explained while I nodded.

I thought about this for a moment. It wasn't ideal, but it was better than I had expected. And I knew I needed this job.

"Okay, that sounds good," I said finally.

Julian nodded, smiling. "Good. I'm glad we understand each other, Luna. I think we're going to get along just fine."

And with that, we arrived at the estate. I felt a sense of wonder as I looked up at the grand mansion, knowing that this was going to be my home for the foreseeable future.

Julian led me on a grand tour of the house, showing me opulent room after opulent room. I tried to take it all in, but it was overwhelming. Finally, we arrived at his bedroom door.

"And this is my room," he said, pushing open the door.

I followed him inside, trying not to gawk. The room was enormous, with a massive bed and a sitting area. There was also a large desk, where Julian seemed to spend a lot of time working.

"It's beautiful," I said, trying to sound professional.

Julian smiled. "I'm glad you like it. Now, I know I said you'd have some time to settle in, but I'm afraid I need you to start working now."

I nodded, expecting this. "Of course, Julian. What do you need me to do?"

He walked over to the desk, gesturing for me to follow. "I need you to help me with some papers. But first, let's get one thing straight. When we're in this room, I need you to be completely focused on me. No distractions, no interruptions. Can you do that for me?"

I nodded, feeling a sense of trepidation. "Yes, Julian. I can do that."

He smiled, seeming to like my answer. "Good. Now, let's get started."

And with that, he began to brief me on the papers he needed me to work on. I listened intently, trying to take it all in. But as I worked, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was in over my head.

As we walked into Julian's bedroom, I couldn't help but notice the luxurious decor. The room was spacious, with a large bed and a sitting area. There was also a desk, where Julian seemed to spend a lot of time working.

"I'll be working from here a lot," Julian said, noticing my gaze. "So, I need you to be comfortable in this room."

I nodded, trying to appear professional. "Of course, Julian."

Julian smiled. "Good. Now, let's get started on those papers. I need you to review the company's quarterly reports and make some notes."

I nodded, taking the papers from him. As I began to review them, Julian sat down next to me, his leg brushing against mine.

"I'm glad you're here, Luna," he said, his voice low. "I think we're going to make a great team."

I felt a shiver run down my spine as I worked, trying to focus on the papers in front of me. But I couldn't shake the feeling that Julian was watching me, his eyes on me even as he worked on his own tasks.

Finally, after what felt like hours, Julian spoke up. "I think that's enough for now," he said, standing up. "Let's take a break."

I nodded, relieved, and stood up as well. But as I turned to leave, Julian caught my arm.

"Not so fast," he said, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I need you to stay here with me. We have more work to do."

I felt a surge of unease, but tried to push it aside. After all, I was here to do a job. And if that meant spending time with Julian in his bedroom, then so be it.
