Unnus' surprise didn't last long. He shook off the vines quickly, and paused for a second.
"So… you can use magic. That can only mean one thing: I tried to capture the wrong target. I'm sorry, pretty miss. You're probably Rheann Reice Largengarten, the eldest daughter, right?" he asked "Do you think you can let me go? I can treat you to dinner sometime in exchange!"
Rhea didn't even answer. She sent the sword forward to stab at him, while she prepared her magic again. Unnus repelled the sword by punching it with his fists, like it was a normal thing to do. While he was distracted, Rhea created thorny bushes all around him. They didn't even scratch his torso, it was like he was made of steel… except his back was bleeding.
So… he could be hurt. She created a sharp whip of vines in her arms, and while he was kicking the bushes to get out, hit his back with it. He saw it coming, but didn't dodge. He just braced himself. And nothing happened. Again, it was like hitting solid metal. Why did the thorns cut him on his back and not her whip?
"You're quite capable, Rheann, gotta admit. Now I really want to take you on a date!" Unnus said "Yet your magic is not good against my chiseled body. Just surrender! I'll leave you alone, I give you my word."
"And what, let you kidnap whoever you've been sent to kidnap? My sister, maybe? My Mother?!" Rhea almost screamed, getting more irritated by the second "What use if my safety then? I swear on the Largergarten name, I WILL stop you."
She created two whips on her hands, and attacked him directly. The whips were so fierce, he began to step back slowly, but still seemed unscathed. She gave a knowing look to the sword, and continued her onslaught. He couldn't move, and every hit created thorny bushes near him. He wasn't budging, but he couldn't move. And suddenly, he was cut in the back by a sword cut. It had sneaked up behind him. And now, a big wound was formed.
"You see, I found your weakness" Rhea said, smirking "And it's not just pretty women. You harden your body with magic, so if you don't see the attack coming, you don't have time to do so."
Unnus weakly smiled back:
"Not only pretty, but smart too. I wish we weren't on opposing sides." he said, and flexed his muscles. His wounds instantly closed. "Yet there's a mission I must accomplish."
He then punched the sword, and sent it flying. Rhea steeled herself.
