Chapter 13 - Sink hole

"Listen carefully, the invaders are coming three of them for now and are about several meters away,When they get close, I will teleport all of you close to the forest and you will keep on running to the west until you reach the road." I told them while looking at the one who was eldest of them all

"What about you then." he replied

"I will create a diversion for you to escape, don't worry I will meet you there."

"Promise."

" I promise."

As soon as I saw the invaders touches flashing a few meters away, I teleported all of the children. It was not that much further but still it was a little close to the forest and away from the invaders. The issue was if I was going to be able to meet with them in time.

I had to make a lot of noises as I could inorder to attract all of the invaders toward me, it worked, they were all coming towards where I was not where the children were. I climbed on the roof of another house which was a little steady and started running back to the mansion to make it look like I was going to rescue the people in the mansion. I had an idea in mind, I wanted to gather them all up at one point and create a a huge shadow portal under them and return them upside down. They had faint touches that did not light things that much and my idea seemed that it was going to work, the problem was that I had to avoid teleporting as I gathered them all up to conserve Enerflux. If I had an offence ability I would have confronted them head on but in this case that was suicide given they had guns.

They were not using their eyes to detect where I was, they were listening to my loud running footsteps stumping on the roofs. I was shoot on my leg twice from and fell from the roof to the ground. The invaders did not have skills with their guns, when they were shooting, it was like they had no eyes at all only ears, they shoot in every direction they heard a strange noise. If it was a professional chasing me, he would have listened closely to the movement of his target and shoot at the right moment. I was shoot since I could not get away from the bullets that were flying randomly in the air.

"Did we get him."

"I heard him fall."

"Let's go and look."

They were really not professionals, all of them at once advanced to where I had fallen. I jumped a house to wait for them while making whining noise.

"Let's get in."

I hadn't tried creating such a portal before, the only one I was creating was only a portal that was enough for one person. My heart was beating faster than normal, if it was going to fail then that was going to be the end of me. I was waiting for the moment where all of them entered the house and with the entrance of each of them, my heartbeat increased also. They were entering from different entrances others used the window and some of the the door, I hide beside a refrigerator which was put at a corner in the living room. As soon as I heard that they had all entered the house, I created a large shadow portal that they all fell inside and in some way we ended up in the weird room not the room of the house.

Though it was an awful room to be in, it sure was coming in handy, if I could found way to intentionally go into it, things were going to be nice for me. I did not waste time waiting to see what was going to happen to them, I used their shadows to teleport back into the house and got away before any of the ones remaining in the village came.

I was somewhere in the forest when I heard screams and cries of the children. I rushed to them to see what was happening, an invader had found them and was forcing them to return to the village by pointing a gun at one of them. I closed in on them and picked a large stone then threw it at the invader with all the strength I had. I dashed at him before he could put himself together and I snatched his gun from his hand and pounded his face until he was no more. I ran fast and long way to get to that place that after finishing the guy I had very little stamina left and fall to the ground without even telling the children what to do.
