Olivia had returned home and she looked better than before.
"Hey, Livi, you're home" she father saw her walk into the house.
"Yes father. I'm back"
"You look good. Even better than before you left. I must say you need to go out and spend sometime with your friend more. By the way where is she?" He asked as he didn't see Astrid with her .
"Her grandma wanted her to be by her side "
"Oh. That's good then." He smiled "I have something to talk to you about later, my dear."
"What is it, father?" She was curious.
"Meet me at my study after lunch. I should go get some rest now. This man is getting old". He patted her on the shoulder before he went inside heading straight to his room.
Olivia wondered what her father wanted to talk about but she didn't let curiosity take over her as was going to hear it anyway.
She went to her room and fell on her bed as tears rolled down.
She regretted not taking her life seriously. She regretted not listening to her parents and wait for the right time she would finally be free.
Was her life over?
Was that going to haunt her for the rest of her life?
Many questions kept coming and she just hoped she could go back in time and make sure those things did not happen.
She wanted to make sure she ended things with Derrick so she picked her phone and called him.
"Let's break up"
"You call me and that's the first thing you say after cheating on me?" He sounded angry.
"I don't want to prolong things" she sounded firm.
"I can't agree to that" he ended the call on her and didn't let her finish her words.
The main reason why he was with Olivia was because she is the heiress of her family and company. He knew she had a big share of her father's wealth and that was what he wanted. He never had true feelings for her and was never faithful in their relationship.
Olivia was not going to let his words crush her. This time she would be cautious of her behavior and probably not date anyone. Or could she?
She took a warm shower and lay on her bed contemplating on what her father would tell her.
Did he suspect her about something?
Or maybe not. Maybe he had something else to tell her. Either way she was going to find out. In a short while, she was drifted to dream land.

"Jasmine I'm sorry" he whispered
"So you're saying you just wanted to have fun" she tried hard to control her tears.
"Its not like that. Its just that...."
"I understand. You are getting married soon" she bit her lips hard. "I shouldn't have fallen so hard, I thought you felt the same but you lied about your feelings and played with mine. Do you think im a robot that doesn't feel pain? Do you know how long I've wanted us to be together?" The tears finally fell and she couldn't control her self.
"Honestly, you are not the kind of girl I want to be with. I'm not saying there's something wrong with you, its just I don't like how you are".
It was like Jasmine's heart was crushed. Abel said those words directly to her without batting an eye.
What did she expect? She knew she had many bad habits but never thought it would hurt so much hearing it from someone she liked so much.
"Okay. I understand. Good luck with your life. I'll try to fix mine but I won't change myself for someone. I know one day someone would appreciate me for who I am and not lie about caring and then just saying he's getting married " she yelled.
"I know you are hurt. But you should live with it. And I'll do the same. Just don't make things awkward when we meet after this"
Jasmine wiped her tears and smiled bitterly.
"Let's see who will make things awkward. Good bye" she walked away from him and began to run. She wanted to go home and forget all these.

Another terrible day for Giselle as she ran into the CEO who was in the elevator, leaving the premises.
As soon as she saw him, was shocked and the she remembered the incident of yesterday. She wanted to go back but it would seem somehow.
"Coming in?"
She heard Roderick asked.
"Y..ye..yes sir" she nervously enter not looking at him.
Julian silently chuckled. "Why do I find this funny?" He asked him self.
Everyone stayed quiet not making a sound.
Giselle tried to not look so awkward but she failed. She didn't even move an inch or turned her neck.
As soon as the doors opened, she ran out as fast as she could. She couldn't bear standing with the CEO anymore.
Julian couldn't hold his laughter any longer.
"You seem to have left an impression. Ricky."
"Mm" was his only reply.
Roderick's phone rang as he about to enter his car.
"You punk... When are you going to come see your old man" Kennedy Blackwood Roderick's grandpa yelled.
"I've been busy" was all Roderick said.
"So busy that you don't have time for your grandpa anymore?" He sounded sad.
"I'll make time to come see you soon". And he ended the call .
"You've been rejecting father's call" Julian said inside the car.
"I have nothing to say to him" Ricky said with a straight face. "He only has one thing to talk about. Marriage."
"Maybe he misses you and wants to see you. You've been away for five years and this is how you act towards your parents? Unacceptable. I'll schedule a meeting with them this weekend so make time."
"Don't you dare "
"I will dare"
"Go if you want to "
"We are going together"
Ricky could only sigh.
It was true that he hadn't seen his family for a long time but they keep talking about having a woman in his life and he only had one excuse "I'm too busy to fall in love with anyone "
He had dated girls in his young adult age and now that he became the CEO of Blackwood industries, he should focus on work and maybe pick a woman along the way, he thought.
