"is his condition getting any better" Giselle asked the doctor visibly worried
"Have you been giving him the medicines I prescribed? He's not getting any better but rather worst. I'm sorry Ms styles but at this rate, his life is in danger" the doctor stated plainly.
Giselle got a call that her dad collapsed and she ran to the hospital immediately.
Chris needed medicines to live, since his first wife died, he has not been himself. He thought getting remarried would change that but it was still the same. The pain he felt in his heart.
"How come the medicines are not working on him?" She asked worriedly.
"Looks like he has not been taking it"
"But he does take. Everyday" the was confused.
"Maybe not. I'm his doctor and I know his health" he patted her shoulder and walked away.
Giselle was really confused. How could it be? She knows Chris has been taking the medicines but something was wrong. And she had to find out. But how?
Did someone temper with the medicines?
Did it have something to do with Kimberly?
She shook her head not wanting to think far.
"I know she doesn't like me but it doesn't have anything to do with dad." She thought to herself and just decided to meet her father inside the room.
."he's still asleep" Samuel whispered.
"Sigh .."
"How about you all go home and I'll stay here with your father" Kimberly suggested.
Her twins agreed and looked at Giselle who didn't say anything.
"Go home. You must have had a long day and need rest" Kimberly just wanted her to leave.
"Mom's right, sis" Jasmine whispered "and I need to talk to you" Giselle finally gave in and followed them home and left Kimberly and the sleeping man at the hospital.
Jasmine rested her head on Giselle's shoulder and Samuel was on the driver's seat.
"Are you tired?" Jasmine asked her sister.
"Just a little. You wanted to talk about something?"
"We'll talk at home"
There was silence until they finally got home.
They had a quite dinner.
Giselle freshened up and went to Jasmine who just came out from the bathroom wearing her robe.
"You're here" Jasmine had a faint smile. "How's work? Are you being treated well?"
"Yeah, I'm fine" she thought of telling her about Roderick.
"But.."
"But what? Are you being bullied?" She asked and went to meet her on the bed.
"No It's just my encounter with the CEO. I'm always nervous when I see him because I accidentally spilled tea on him and he ..."
She told Jasmine everything that happened and Jasmine smiled she was obviously thinking something.
"What a funny start" Giselle looked confused.
"Meaning "
"Love"
"What the Fuck, Jas stop. I'm serious"
"I am too" she looked directly into her eyes.
"You will soon understand what I'm talking about." Giselle didn't want to think about what Jasmine was talking about. To her it was nonsense.
"You wanted to talk "
"Yeah" Jasmine straightened her back and took a dip breath.
"Abel's getting married"
"What the....'
"He said he did not want me to feel bad that's why he played along all these while. He also said I should try to change my habits because no guy would want to be with someone like me" Jasmine didn't cry. But Giselle knew she was sad.
Why would Abel say that about her sister?.she hugged Jasmine "look I don't think there is something wrong with you. You are good and he's blind for not seeing it. And guess what?"
"What?"
"He just lost the chance of having the smartest lady in his life. And things happens for a reason, you will meet someone that will love and cherish for who you are and not who they want you to be " she encouraged her sister. She hated to see her sister down like that
"You are the smart one here, G." She raised her head and looked at Giselle. "You don't talk about your boyfriend at all. Why?"
"Sigh..... I broke up with him. Perhaps we were just not it"
"Good. You'll have a chance to be the CEO's future"
"Stop it. I can't fall for my boss"
"Oh you can"
Giselle didn't say anything more since she knew Jasmine was only playing around or so she thought. She stayed there and waited for Jasmine to fall asleep before she went back to her room and her thoughts drifted to her father. She was the one who gave him his medicines everyday how come about that sudden occurrence?
Sleep took over her and in no time she was in the land of dreams.

"Was is it that could not wait till tomorrow?" Julian asked as he walked towards Ricky in his study.
"Still could not sleep?" He whispered softly as he saw Ricky's face.
"I thought coming here would be better" Ricky said as he sat down.
"Sigh... Should I call your doctor?"
Julian was concerned.
"No let's just wait till morning. Its already very late" he pointed out.
"Yeah. And Grandpa called me"
He paused and looked at the man in front of him.
"Go on"
"You should talk to him and tell him if you're not ready to date someone"
"Sigh.... I'm still young"
"You're almost 29. And it's time you start preparing to settle down. You don't want to get married at the age of 40 or 45, do you?"
"I haven't found who I like yet"
"That's true. You never like anyone not even your exes."
He was worried about his grandpa and he knew he cared alot about Ricky's future. But what to do?
"I have an idea" Julian adjusted his seat.
"Spill"
"Get a fake girlfriend"
"What?! You know I don't like those things. And besides one should feel something for someone before making them their girlfriends"
"That's why I said 'fake'. It does not have to be real. Just take her with you when you visit the family and then no one will disturb you about that again " he said and Ricky thought he was right.
But he needed to find the right person. He could not just pick a random person.
