If there's only one thing in common, which made the Ragnarok Beast receive the name of the man in the said legend, it's that the moment it dives towards the ground, the Ragnarok Beast's wings will ignite, setting off its whole body in fire.

The moment the Ragnarok Beast landed on the ground, the flame burning its body expanded, leaving the Ragnarok Beast's body moving like a surge of flame and engulfing everything in the ground.

Among the six classes of Devour Beasts, only three of them have a way of defending against the surge of flame that is rapidly expanding and engulfing everything in the ground.
Players who belong to the Azure Beast Asherah cast their Whirlpool Skill to summon a revolving surge of water to protect themselves and everyone near them against the flame.
Those who belong to the Nine-tailed Beast Fiamma cast their Foxfire Skill to fight the flame with flame and protect everyone behind them.
Last are those who belong to the Vermilion Beast Aurora, who cast their Sprite Skill to release a burst of vermilion light that disintegrates everything around them that they deem to be destroyed, including the flame that engulfs their surroundings.

Using her Sprite Skill, BlueHeroine protected SilverPup, Luel, and everyone near her against the flame that engulfed their surroundings to the point that what they could only see was the bloodstain-colored flame of Icarus.
When the bloodstained-colored flame disappears, Luel witnesses the appearance of the Rank B Ragnarok Beast, which burns all the players around where it landed and all the other unfortunate ones who fail to take cover from the flame.
Rather than a freaking bird, as what BlueHeroine has said, the Rank B Ragnarok Beast Icarus looks more like a pterodactyl dinosaur. It's a 16-meter tall Ragnarok Beast, but with its wingspan that expands for more than 30 meters, it makes Icarus look much larger even compared to the Rank A Ragnarok Beast Cerberus.

Icarus's scream sends a screeching sound to everyone's ears, making those who are weak of heart tremble in fear.

The average Link Force of all the players from the Origin Guild, including Luel, is around 30 to 40 percent. Even with their remaining number, counting for more than a hundred, they won't be able to defeat and devour the Rank B Ragnarok Beast Icarus even if they work together at their maximum efforts.

Admitting that she was to blame for Icarus's arrival, BlueHeroine activated her Aurora's Wings Skill, releasing her elegant blue wings and flying above Icarus to attract its attention.
Icarus looks above, following BlueHeroine as she glides in the sky. However, the Rank B Ragnarok Beast didn't spread its wings and flew towards the sky to hunt BlueHeroine. Instead, it remained on the ground, ignited its wings, and fluttered them to spread more flame into the ground.

"Don't you dare ignore me, you freaking bird!... Aurora's Light!..."
To get Icarus's attention, BlueHeroine activates her Devour Skill, releasing a vermilion light aura that engulfs her whole body. She then makes a dive, heading towards Icarus and clashing directly with the Rank B Ragnarok Beast.

Rays of multi-colored lights burst into the battlefield after BlueHeroine collides with Icarus with her Aurora's Light Skill.
It was another spectacular view that gave faith to the hopeless players who were being burdened by Icarus's flame. Yet it was nothing but a false hope...

BlueHeroine's current Link Force is at 35 percent, and it's definitely too low for what is needed to defeat a Rank B Ragnarok Beast or bring it down on the ground.

BlueHeroine activated her Halo Skill, releasing a halo of vermilion light that expanded mid-air and hit not only Icarus but all the surrounding ruined buildings, making all of the debris crash into the ground.

"Hey!... Are you trying to bury us alive, A*Hole?!"
"Then get everyone away from here, PoopPup!"
"This B*... Everyone!... Retreat!... Unit one, protect Lucent at all costs! Make sure he doesn't die unnecessarily!"
Luel appreciates SilverPup's concern for his safety. After all, their agreement doesn't include protecting him or making sure of his survival. However, SilverPup understood that if Luel died against Icarus or other Ragnarok Beast and decreased his Link Force, the number of times they would be able to fight and study Cerberus would also decrease.
Luel and the remaining 30 players of Orion Guild's unit one run away towards the opposite direction of Icarus and BlueHeroine. But before they can gain enough distance away from the battlefield...

Like a shadow moving at an incredible speed, hiding in the cover of the night, Cerberus intercepted Luel's escape.
Luel's group was too late to react to the Rank A Ragnarok Beast's sudden arrival, as Cerberus dived right in front of them and crunched a dozen players with its three mouths, including Luel.

Luel and the other players stuck on Cerberus's mouths scream in pain as Cerberus slowly closes its mouth and bores its fangs into the bodies of all its victims.
"Lucent!..."
SilverPup's scream is the last thing that Leul heard before Cerberus tossed him mid-air along with other players and swallowed them as they fell right into its open mouths.
