A few days passed after the invasion of the cherubim and the brief encounter of the young master Astaroth and the Lord of Wrath, Satan. But Astar was purposefully ignoring the old lord, who couldn't even talk to the young demon because he was ignored.
Satan tried to get Astaroth's attention in every possible way, such as stealing food, poking him, cursing him, trying to invite him to a drinking competition, pulling his horn... But Astaroth's response to the Lord's provocations were scratches or light slaps, and this continued for weeks and weeks.
Meanwhile, Astaroth was mentally freaking out since the old Lord wouldn't leave his mind. He didn't want to continue like this, so the solution he found was to ignore Satan, and how difficult this task was for the young master. He wanted to punch the Lord of Wrath.
Today would be the day that Astaroth would meet Baal, finally, something good in his life would happen and he would finally get out of his monotonous and boring routine. He had already told his father that a friend would come, Lucifer didn't mind and said she could stay as long as she wanted. Astaroth got ready and went to the square where Baal asked him to wait for her there, since his friend had not arrived, he sat down and let out a long sigh.
Hell was an amazing place, if you weren't a sinner, of course. The entire population was divided between the "pure" and the "sinners." The pure were the creatures of hell themselves, and the sinners could range from fallen angels to humans, which is undoubtedly the majority.
When a pure person does something that is against Lucifer's laws, they receive as punishment, death or being tortured for the rest of their life, and the criminal himself who chooses his punishment. To this day there has been no one who has preferred eternal torture.
The pure side is extremely similar to a normal city, it has shops, clubs, simple houses, luxurious houses, castles, artistic things, squares, etc.
Astaroth woke up from his deep thoughts when he heard a soft voice call him, Baal, she was wearing a long dress, it was white with dark blue and gold details. Her short hair was very well arranged and looked like golden threads, she smiled broadly and ran to hug the young master.
Athy!– Baal called him by his cute nickname while hugging him tightly, as if they hadn't seen each other for decades.
Baal! I fuck missed you!– Astaroth smiles from ear to ear, returning the hug.
Baal kissed his friend on the cheek and ruffled his hair.– I missed you too.
Astaroth carried the young noblewoman's suitcase to his father's palace, guiding her to one of the guest rooms and helping her tidy up and make the environment more comfortable. The two lay down and talked for hours and hours, they almost missed dinner.
When they arrived in the dining room, Astaroth noticed Lucifer's gaze following Baal, his eyes slightly widened but in a... different way. As if he had seen someone he hadn't seen in a long time.
Astaroth says feeling a little out of place – Ah... Father, this is my friend, Baal. And Baal, this is my father, Lucifer... – Baal bows gracefully, to show his respect to the king.
Thank you for allowing me to stay here for a few days, your Majesty. – She says, slowly raising her head and realizing that Lucifer was still staring at her.
Oh... Sure... Don't worry about it. You're different from what I imagined.– the king says, unable to look away.
If I may ask, what did you imagine I would be like, Your Highness? – Baal smiled, truly entertained by Lucifer's reaction.
I don't know, I just imagined it would be like the other demons... And no...– the king's eyes move up and down, observing the young noblewoman.–...with such an angelic appearance, Could you tell me your name again young man?
Sure!– she smiles brightly.– my name is Baal, you majesty.
You don't need to speak so formally to me, you can just call me Lucifer.– He said, his face didn't look intimidating like it always did, other than that, Astaroth could see his father's lips turn into a small smile.
Astaroth was quiet most of the time at that dinner, he listened attentively to the banal conversation between his friend and his father... As he finished his food, Astar thought to himself..."seriously?! What the hell is going on here? They must not even be able to see me anymore...".Indeed, Astaroth had become invisible to the two for a moment, only receiving their attention when the young man got up from his chair.
Are you coming?– Astar asks Baal.
Of course, of course! – she said smiling and stood up too, but before the two left the dining room, she made sure to look at Lucifer once more and say goodbye to him.
Astaroth and Baal walk in silence for a few seconds before he says, "I'm glad you got along with my father... He doesn't usually talk like this much, not even with me or Satan."
Seriously?! – she says with her eyes wide open, surprised.
Yes... Well, should we watch something before bed? – the young master's tone of voice was returning to normal, trying to push away the thoughts about Lucifer supposedly having taken an interest in his best friend. Astaroth felt as if Karma had gotten to him this time.
The two went to Astaroth's room and chose to watch some random comedy that they chose without thinking much. Baal quickly fell asleep, while Astar watched that movie alone, without much interest. His mind was being filled by the old Lord again.
Astaroth woke up to knocks on the door, he carefully got out of bed, trying not to wake Baal, but it was in vain, as she woke up to the knocks.
What's wrong?– Astaroth opens the door to his room, rubbing his eyes, still sleepy.
The little princess woke up.–Satan says, lightly pulling one of Astaroth's horns.
I came to call you to have breakfast with me, is Baal still here? - Lucifer says trying to visualize his son's dark room, not even saying "good morning" like he always did.
Baal? Who is Baal? – Satan asked looking at Astaroth, but before the young master could answer anything, Baal appeared behind his friend.
Astaroth turned his gaze to the woman who had just woken up, but incredibly, she was perfect. The young master glanced at Satan quickly, and felt a pang in his heart. Astar saw that look he knew well. Satan, who was still holding one of Astaroth's horns, let go of it and smiled with interest.
Oh? A new face? Why didn't I say you had a friend so...– Satan thinks of a word that fits the beauty who was behind the young master.– so charming?
