Synopsis
In a world where witches are born female, 18-year-old Rose Amberstone, a white witch, enrolls in Drewville College. Tasked with protecting her kind from human males who steal witch powers, Rose must navigate treacherous alliances between these men and black witches. When a loved one falls victim to a 'dynami kleftis' (power stealer), Rose breaks the white witches' no-killing rule, unleashing her hybrid nature. Embracing her vampire side, she sacrifices her humanity. Rose's transformation draws the attention of Draven, the King of Darkness, who seeks to claim her as his queen. As Rose walks the fine line between light and darkness, she must confront the shadows within herself and decide: will she reign alongside Draven or forge her own path?

Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1 : The wierd dream

I stared at my own reflection, wearing a beautiful white flowing gown, gold chains around my neck, paired with gold earrings. My lips were as red as rubies, and golden hand chains decorated my hands, paired with golden rings. My eyes moved up, and that was when I caught sight of the gold crown that lay on my head, as if it belonged there. My chin looked sharper, my face more defined. I looked very beautiful, like a Goddess.

Not only did I look different, I felt different. "Where am I?" I asked myself. I glanced around, finding myself standing in a plain white room or hall – it seemed to have no end.

I looked back at my reflection and walked towards it with my hands stretched out, trying to see if it was a mirror. But even after walking forward for some time, I couldn't touch anything. I stopped walking, looked at myself, and touched the beautiful white dress I saw through the reflection. But what I saw myself touching wasn't a white dress – it was black.

Shocked, I looked back at my reflection, and what was white had turned black. The gold accessories remained, along with the gold crown, now with a red gemstone at the front. This wasn't there before, I thought, touching the gemstone. "What's going on?"

I suddenly felt a chill run down my back. I looked around to see if there was anyone with me, but there was no one. "YOU HAVE GONE ROGUE!!" I heard a voice shout sharply beside my ear.

I screamed as agonizing pain took over my body. I fell to the ground as I felt strength leave my legs. I started to whimper as the pain grew worse, but I had no strength to scream. I felt the pain travel through my whole body, crushing every part of my bones. I had never felt such pain before.

I tried to shout for help, but my mouth couldn't move anymore. Suddenly, I saw blood flowing towards me. I weakly traced the blood towards my reflection in front of me. Although the person there still looked like me, it wasn't. While I was crying in pain, my reflection had a menacing smile on her face, with her canines looking quite longer. Those fangs!

All strength left my body, and I fell slack on the floor.

I gasped loudly as I sat up on my bed. I looked around, noticing I was back in my dorm room. I sighed in relief. "Nightmare again?" my roommate, Cassandra, asked from her side of the room.

I had started college less than a week ago and had been having this weird dream every night since I came here. Cassandra had been a witness to my screams.

"Yeah," I replied, grabbing my phone from the side to check the time. 4:15 a.m. "Shit," I cursed, realizing I was late.

I glanced at Cassandra, who was reading a book on her bed, looking like she wouldn't be sleeping anytime soon. "Why isn't she asleep yet?" I wondered.

"It's past 4 a.m., won't you be sleeping?" I asked Cassandra.

"Not now, I don't have classes this morning anyway," she replied, facing her back to me.

At this point, I would have to make her sleep. Just as I wanted to start my chant, she called out.

"Rose."

"Yes?" I answered.

"Don't you think it's best you go see the school nurse regarding your nightmare situation? She could give you some kind of drugs, as it could be a result of stress." She yawned.

"She's right," I said. I stood up from my bed to freshen up, hoping Cassandra would have slept by the time I returned.

I didn't spend long in the bathroom, as I was in a hurry. I got out in less than five minutes, got dressed in all black to blend in with the night.

I slowly walked towards Cassandra's bed to check if she had slept – she had. But to ensure she wouldn't get up later and find my bed empty, I had to take precautions. I carefully bent down to whisper over her ear:

"Koimisou tin Kassandra Kai xypniste mono otan o ilios einai pano apo to fengari." ( Sleep, cassandra and wake up only when the sun is well over the moon ).

After hearing her soft snores, I went to get my phone, glancing at the time – 4:35 a.m.

I walked to my closet, where I stockpiled stick candies. I took two out, chucking one into my pocket and popping the other into my mouth. Tasting my favorite flavor, I couldn't help but moan.

I hurried to the door and opened it gently; it made a creek sound. Looking both right and left before coming out and closing the door gently.
