When Gog saw Amias, healthy and whole, drinking something from a barrel and laughing with Leo, the goblin felt like a true goblin for the first time in his life.
It was not like he did not know that Amias would find the wind elemental funny, or a better company for him. No, they were both elementals and as such, they would have fit better together from the start, had they met in a different life.
But that was not all that worried Gog. He had given Amias a name with the hope of giving him his heart as well. Nothing carnal could ever happen between them. Amias was at least ten times Gog's size and made of mud, besides.
But Gog would have still loved to place moss on Amias' shoulders every morning, to hydrate them with the morning dew which the moss preserved before being picked.
He would have wanted to tell Amias good night and sweet dreams before bedtime, he would have wished to wake up with the elemental hogging all the blankets.
