Chapter 29: Lin Yuer's Vision of Education
Understanding that long-term change requires knowledge, Lin Yuer proposes a school in the village, teaching practical skills, literacy, and basic science. Although met with initial resistance, she persuades the villagers by promising it will equip the next generation to maintain the innovations she's introduced.
The school begins with a handful of students, including children of village leaders. Lin Yuer herself teaches at first, laying the foundation for a future generation of thinkers and innovators.
