Staring at the massive amount of luggage, I stare at Mama who still packs more and more. "...What is going on?" I asked her, puzzled at what she was doing.
Mama answered while she was still trying to push her clothes into one of the bags. "We are going to Earth! My relatives want to meet you, don't worry, they paid for the ferry ride there so it would only take at most a month to reach Earth. Oh and don't worry about Pirate! They hire a security company so that won't be a problem."
"No…Mama, the problem isn't that, but why are you packing so much stuff? It's as if we're going to move or something…"
"That is because we are moving," Mama said with a straight face.
The only words that came out of my mouth were. " Eh…?"

May 30th/ I.J.C. 196 / Stellar Research's colony. Siga-7's Space Port. /
The sound of a moving car, the people that were talking enthusiastically about returning to earth or visiting them for the first time, and…the sound of a moving mobile suit carrying out the luggage and loading them up onto the ship.
Right now, I am staring at a mobile suit of 16.5 meters in height, carrying a box full of luggage, supplies, and others to load onto the ship. Gendora, a mobile suit that was at least 50 years old, back during the war between Earth and Agellus Empire, a model created to combat the Empire's Famous Meistro. Capable of both space and earth combat, though it is now outdated, they convert it to civilian use, and they are still capable of using modern weapons, though the energy consumption would be like shit.
Though seeing some relics of the past and a real mobile suit does put my heart in excitement, it seems Mama has noticed it too. As she pats my back, prompting me to look at her.
"Don't worry. You will see an even cooler one. Well, help Mama carry her back, will you? Mama got a really weak arm after all." She said as she handed me one of the bags, I pulled out my phone and connected to the SpacePort website to call one of the carrier robots. Mama just watched. Baffle at what I was doing as she probably forgot about it completely.
"Let's go, Mama," I said as I held Mama's hand, the port was big, very big, but I was not lost since I had the map downloaded on my phone, I guided her through toward the lounge where she would go and get our ticket check and I just sit there, waiting for her to come back.
As I sit down, waiting for Mama to come back, watching some video on Mobile suit modification, I feel a presence, a man, probably in his 80s, sitting next to me, arm shaking and breathing a bit rough as he was tired from walking.
"Ah, excuse me, Don't mind this old me." He said as he took off his hat, revealing hair that was aged to gray, and not as beautiful gray as Sylvia's, wrinkles covered his face and his eye… were like Mama's… Not the same shade of gold that is captivating like Mama but…one that is deep enough to pull you in.
He turns toward me and then to my phone. "Oho, What are you watching, Young lass?" He asks, making a friendly smile.
I eyed him with suspicion, he didn't look strong, so if he tried something I would be able to struggle out and call for help, also, this place was filled with security and cameras everywhere, even my spot got a camera sharpening in on my zone.
"I don't talk to strangers." That is all I said as I returned my attention to the video but keeping my guard up.
"Hoho, Your parents taught you well, Yes I am a stranger. But can you tell this old man what you are watching?" He smiles with a friendly smile that seems to pull everyone in, even me.
"..." I glanced up at him and the nearest security guard, well, they would jump in about…20 seconds max. "Video of Mobile Suit Modification," I said.
"Ah, and why are you watching something like this?" He asked me.
"Because it's interesting, Mobile Suit is the pinnacle of our history combined, whether it be for civilian use or military, it was and will always be useful."
"Is that so? Well, throughout my life, I can't think of a time when I couldn't use a mobile worker to help with building and such, truly it was the pinnacle of our current technology." He said as he stroked his bread, his eyes wandering off into the distance as if remembering some of the distant past, then…his golden eyes focused on me once again.
"Well, then, Young lass, can you tell me if we truly need mobile suits in our time?" His golden eye seemed to pierce through me as he asked that question as if he was trying to peer deeper inside, deeper into my soul. I could see myself reflecting off his golden eye, as the question slowly entered my mind.
Mobile suit…are we…really need it in our time, my heart was pounding, saying no, we do not need it, and I…want to agree, but…without mobile worker, there would be no colony, without colony, the earth would long perish before I could be born, before I could feel Mama's love…
"We need them. No matter what. Without Mobile workers and mobile suits, there would be no colony, and without a colony, the Earth would exhaust its resources long before we could send people to space. Even now, we can't even colonize Mars. The only thing we are capable of doing is mining its resources instead of Earth. Let alone what it would be like without a colony to have people sent up here." I answer him, staring right back into his eyes.
"Even if the mobile suits are being used for war? Killing innocent people in the number of millions?"
"That is not the fault of Mobile Suit, war has always been part of Humans, we wage war for the pettiest of reasons, the fault is the people of the higher up who can't control their ego and the victims are the civilians."
Hearing my answer, the man in front of me just… smiled. He reached his hand out and patted my head. "You quiet the clever child. This old man is satisfied with your answer. So I will give you this." I swat his hand away from my head, which he just chucked at.
Then before I knew it, there was something in my hand, a piece of candy. When I looked up the old man was already walking away before I could notice him. He was surprisingly fast for an old man.
"Yoha, Who did you talk to just now?" Mama returned from her check and asked me what was going on.
"Nothing, just some strange old man that was all." That was what I replied with. "Is it done? Can we go on board now?" Changing the subject, I got up and checked all my belongings, nothing was missing.
"Yes, Come on, let's go now." Mama holds her hand out for me and I take it, glancing at the candy in my other hand, I unwrap it to see…nothing, just a normal piece of candy, there is nothing on the wrapper either.
"..." Staring at the piece of candy, I decided to just throw it away in some random garbage I came across and soon forgot about it.

May 30th/ I.J.C. 196 / The Stellar, lounge /
"Wow…This…is quite the luxury."
I said out, staring at various things. This is just the welcoming lounge, golden fountain, dragon with jade, and other expensive-looking things that when mashed together, didn't seem to hurt the eyes; instead, they looked quite…nice?
"Yeah, they're rich, alright," Mama said as she patted my head. Suddenly, one of the female workers spotted us and came to greet us with a smile.
"Good Afternoon, dear guests. Welcome to the Stellar, a cruise ship equipped with various entertainment to help you relax during your journey to Earth." said the worker. "Please show me your pass." Mama did as she asked and showed her our pass. "I have confirmed your stay, now then, Allow me to guide you through our ship, and show you the various rooms of entertainment for you to relax."
"Thank you. Then please allow us to borrow your time a bit." Mama thanked the worker and she smiled at Mama.
"Thank you very much!" I said as I put on a smile. Seeing the worker squee a bit at my acting made me feel… quite good. Well, it feels good to be praised after all, though getting praise from Mama is still the best.
And just like that, we follow after the worker as she guides us into the ship.
