Waking up with an achy body after the long walk with Bella, Debbie, and Jamie (B.D.J.) was no joke. I hadn't realized how vast the institute was until yesterday, but it was worth the effort. My friends were still fast asleep in their separate beds, showing no signs of getting up soon. Jamie is in the Faculty of Sciences, while Bella and Debbie are in Social Sciences; I'm in the Faculty of Humanities.
Our room has an en-suite bathroom and toilet, which is convenient. I started my morning routine by visiting the toilet to relieve myself, unsure of how busy my day would be. Afterward, I cleaned up, showered, dried off, applied lotion and body spray, and got dressed. I'm not big on makeup, so a light touch was enough for the day.
Upon arriving at my faculty, I thought I was early, but to my surprise, many students were already waiting. I completed my physical clearance and moved on to the medical clearance, which consists of four phases. I finished the first phase and was preparing for the second.
"Jude!" I exclaimed, and he turned around. My childhood friend! We grew up together, playing in the garden near the fence where Ema would play her harp in the evenings. Jude was Ema's biggest fan, often singing her praises until she blushed.
Jude was more than just a neighbor; he was like family. Our parents considered him part of the Earhart family, and many thought he was Harmel Earhart's son due to their striking resemblance. Unfortunately, Jude's family relocated abroad when we were seven, and I lost contact with him.
We're not only age-mates but also birthmates, earning us the nickname "twins." Jude's face lit up with surprise, and we shared a heartfelt hug. His warm smile and joyful demeanor were infectious.
As I pulled back from the hug, I took in Jude's transformed appearance. His skin was lighter, his eyebrows thicker, and his lips soft and pinkish. His curly black hair, a signature feature, was still silky and captivating. Jude's humility and kindness made him irresistible.
