Shin opened his eyes, sitting up on his own. "Finally I can move." He closed and opened his fist, looking at it with a stern face. His meridians are still closed, but he could at least move now.
"Shin, how is your body? Is there anything wrong with it?" Arachne approached him and he smiled, "Never felt better. All of my meridians are blocked so I can't use anything besides my physical body, and even that is quite weakened."
He tried to conjure flames with his fire magic skill but nothing came out. "We should keep going. Finding Gi is the only way for me to fully recover. But we'll wait until your clothes dry."
"You knew?!" Mary gasped and he looked at her with a smug smile. "I'm not deaf. And why else would you all be wearing nothing but Arachne's threads?"
"You're indeed right." Sacha approached him, "This layer was filled with rotten and maggot-filled zombies. I was quite effective against them so I cleared this place. But we now lack food."
