Chapter 19 - Ji Boda and injecting bloodlines

**Dragonview Mansion in the Magic City**

Nestled within the inner ring of the Magic City, this villa district is one of the few rare estates left.

Ji Boda, his arm around a beautiful woman, wore a forced smile at the corners of his lips.

"Has your little vixen not called you today?" the woman teased, her voice dripping with mischief.

"She said she's visiting her parents. If the world hadn't turned upside down, I would've kicked her to the curb by now," Ji Boda responded, feigning helplessness.

The woman nodded in agreement. "True, who could have imagined the world would change so suddenly?"

As they discussed the sudden rift in the world, Ji Boda's phone rang.

When he saw that it was from Mr. Tang, a gleam of smugness flashed in his eyes.

"Why don't you pick up?" the woman inquired.

"Not someone important," Ji Boda said, putting the phone down and rising. "Come, let me show you something interesting."

Seeing the look in his eyes, the woman chuckled lightly. "You're quite the rogue... but I like it."

Ji Boda said nothing, pulling the woman toward the outdoor swimming pool.

"What's this, are you planning to make waves in the water?" she asked curiously.

But the next moment, her smile froze on her face.

"Who are you people?" she demanded, staring anxiously at the group of figures standing before her.

Tang Xue, dressed in a tight-fitting suit, glanced at the beautiful woman by Ji Boda's side and asked, "Boda, is this the one you were talking about?"

Upon hearing the question, the woman immediately realized something was wrong. Just as she turned to flee, Ji Boda grabbed her by the throat.

"Ji Boda, you bastard!" the woman cursed, struggling against his grip. "I've supported you for three years, and you dare treat me like this!"

Ji Boda ignored her struggles and coldly asked, "Did you bring the specimens I asked for?"

"We caught two, though we lost quite a few in the process," Tang Xue replied, gesturing with a flick of her hand.

As two massive alloy cages were rolled into the villa, Ji Boda's lips twisted into a sickly smile.

"Is this what you were watching at the training camp?" Tang Xue inquired.

"Yes," Ji Boda nodded, dragging the woman toward the cages.

He knocked provocatively on one of the cages, where a creature resembling a blue-skinned hunting dog snarled, baring its fangs.

"Growl!"

The creature lunged at Ji Boda, but before it could strike, a jolt of electricity surged through its body, causing it to collapse onto the ground.

As it fell, four tails unfurled behind it.

Had Xu Que been standing there, he would have been shaken by the sight of this creature— a D-class Rift Star Hound, known for its violent bloodline.

What Xu Que didn't know was that, in his past life, Ji Boda had performed a similar experiment, only half a month earlier.

"Prepare everything. Our time is almost here," Ji Boda said with a gleam of anticipation.

Hearing this, Tang Xue took out a walkie-talkie and began giving orders.

Soon, four large trucks pulled up to the villa, and over a dozen doctors were ushered into the basement.

As Ji Boda and Tang Xue descended into the underground lab, two thugs came forward to report: "Boss Ji, we've brought them, just like you asked. When do we get the injections?"

"No rush. Let me test the effects first, then I'll give each of you your dose," Ji Boda replied with a light pat on one thug's cheek, his smile cold.

The thugs said nothing more, only nodding and grinning foolishly.

"Aren't you worried?" Tang Xue asked, concerned.

"Don't worry," Ji Boda said nonchalantly. "I've seen these experiments at the training camp, and I've already injected myself with this creature's blood before."

"Good, then I'll prepare everything," Tang Xue said, organizing the doctors to get ready.

As the underground experiment began, the two Rift Star Hounds were wheeled in. One of them, meanwhile, was tearing into the corpse of the beautiful woman.

A middle-aged doctor in a white coat approached with a clipboard and said, "The bloodline injection experiment is starting. Please provide your personal attributes."

Ji Boda opened his personal attribute panel and began listing his current stats:

**[Name: Ji Boda]

[Level: Unrated, 72% towards Four-Star]

[Martial Art: None]

[Training Method: None]

[Bloodline: Human 72%, Berserk Bloodline 28%]

[Companion Beast: None]

[Honor: 18]

[Trading Hall (Not Yet Open)]**

As Ji Boda recited his attributes, the doctor diligently noted them down.

"Alright, you can get ready now," the doctor said, lowering his clipboard. "Do you want to be anesthetized?"

"No need," Ji Boda waved his hand dismissively, then lay down on the injection table.

As blue blood was drawn from one of the Rift Star Hounds, everyone in the room gasped—none had ever seen blood of such a color before.

Ji Boda paid it no mind; after all, he'd witnessed many types of special blood in the training camp, although he wasn't sure what their exact purpose was.

"Injection, begin!" a doctor gestured to the technician.

As the blue liquid flowed into Ji Boda's veins, his expression twisted in pain, his teeth subtly shifting as his body began to change.

In an instant, his pupils focused, and the leather straps binding him to the table snapped one by one.

"Ah!"

A powerful, murderous aura instantly swept through the entire basement!

The thugs, who had never witnessed anything so terrifying, immediately considered fleeing. Strength was one thing, but their lives were far more important.

However, in the next moment, their thoughts changed entirely when they saw Ji Boda not only unharmed but appearing even more powerful than before.

"How do you feel?" the doctor asked anxiously.

"Fantastic. I feel great," Ji Boda replied. "My cultivation has increased by one star, and my berserk bloodline has risen from 28 to 35."

The doctor, though experienced, was taken aback. In all his twenty years as a medical professional, he had never encountered anything so bizarre.

Ji Boda, ignoring the doctor, walked over to a thick steel plate.

With a single punch, he struck the plate.

"Boom!"

The plate, three centimeters thick, buckled inward with a loud crash—his punch possessed the strength of over a thousand pounds.

The thugs quickly approached, eager to flatter him. To them, Ji Boda was now far more impressive than any soldier they had seen on TV.

"Boss Ji, you're amazing! From now on, I, Tian Qing, will follow you without question."

"Boss Ji, I was the first to join you. Don't forget about me!"

"I've always believed in you, Boss Ji, I'm from the same place as Yu Xiong."

Upon hearing the name Yu Xiong, Ji Boda immediately responded, "Don't worry. As long as you're with me, I'll make sure you benefit. But remember, you can only inject up to three milliliters a day. Exceed that, and don't blame me if you die!"

The thugs cheered in response. They understood the risks, but the allure of power was too great to resist.

Ji Boda then took Tang Xue's phone and called Yu Xiong, only to find it still switched off.

"Do you think he's dead?" Tang Xue asked, her voice soft.

"It's hard to say. The monsters appeared so suddenly," Ji Boda said, putting the phone down. "If I hadn't been hiding with Liu Ru Yan in the bathroom, I wouldn't have made it to the training camp."

Tang Xue gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek. "They say fortune favors the survivors. Look at you now—you've already built a small but growing faction. With the rewards the organization will give you, you'll rise to prominence in Z Country."

Ji Boda flashed a mischievous smile, picking her up in his arms and heading upstairs.

In the western district of Magic City, near the West Ring Auto Sales Center, Xu Que stood waiting, remembering the location from his past life. He awaited the reappearance of the fifth dimensional rift.

Though he had lost track of the exact time, the general area remained crystal clear in his mind.

As he waited, the rumble of engines echoed from nearby, and a sleek Bugatti La Voiture Noire flashed past, followed by two Lamborghini Aventadors.

Seeing the buyers of these cars, Xu Que shook his head, smiling wryly. Though he disliked such people, he didn't interfere. After all, the order of the world was gradually shifting.
