"Hahahaha! Come on, boys, take everything, rob it all, burn it all! Leave no one behind!"
A group of crazed pirates rushed off the docked ship.
Explosions erupted in every corner of the town.
The pirate with a sinister face laughed maniacally, wielding a machete and killing indiscriminately, like a demon from hell.
"The pirates are coming, run!"
The villagers cried out, causing women and children to scream.
The once peaceful island was engulfed in flames.
Above the inferno, the pirates' ferocious grins loomed large.
"Hahahaha! Brother Perospero, sailing on the sea these days is exhausting."
"Brother Perospero, why did Mama send you to deliver the Devil Fruit this time? This job is so dull!"
The two pirates flanked Charlotte Perospero, flattering him.
"Hmph! Because this Devil Fruit is special. It has the power to destroy worlds. Of course, Mama pays close attention."
Perospero raised a finger arrogantly.
"Brother, what kind of Devil Fruit has such power?"
A small pirate asked curiously.
"The Logia, Rumble-Rumble Fruit!" Perospero declared.
"A Logia, and it's thunder!" The pirate was shocked and defeated.
"Hmph! If the Big Mom Pirates acquire this fruit, our strength will increase, and new generals will rise!"
Perospero spread his arms, smiling triumphantly.
The pirates burned, plundered, and looted the town, their pent-up destructive urges releasing uncontrollably.
"Stop it!"
A thunderous voice cut through the chaos, piercing the pirates' eardrums.
The pirates looked around and saw the middle-aged tavern owner emerging from the ruins. His imposing figure of justice was as impressive as the evil pirates before him.
"Where did this monkey come from? His voice is annoying."
Perospero's sharp gaze fixed on the middle-aged man, his voice full of contempt.
As soon as he spoke, several pirates charged at the man, weapons raised, shouting.
The man, unlike other villagers, was unafraid. He had seen such battles during his time as a Marine.
He raised his fist, hard and heavy as stone, and punched a pirate in the face.
The pirate screamed, flying backward, landing at Perospero's feet.
"What are you doing, idiot!" Perospero yelled at the pirate in irritation.
"Brother, that guy's tough!" The pirate replied, covering his bruised face.
"Hmph! An amateur show ruined by a mere villager. I'll show you!"
Perospero glared at the middle-aged man, speaking slowly.
"Are you the leader of these pirates? Take your crew and leave the island!"
The middle-aged man gritted his teeth, addressing Perospero with commanding authority.
"Who are you ordering, you stupid monkey?" Perospero shouted, waving his candy staff. "Watch this, Candy Maiden!"
A sea of candy surged from Perospero's feet, attacking the middle-aged man.
"What is this!" The man was confused, unable to escape the sticky candy.
"Damn it, I can't move!"
"Eh, hahahaha! Once caught in my Candy Maiden, you can't escape!" Perospero laughed sinisterly.
"This is the power of a Devil Fruit?" The man realized the candy's true nature.
"Eh, hahahaha! You know a lot. You have skill. Join us by killing a townsperson."
Perospero spoke perversely.
"Dream on! Despicable pirates! I swore to hate you as a Marine!"
The middle-aged man clenched his fists, haunted by memories of pirates killing his family.
"You were a Marine?" Perospero's voice turned murderous.
"Yes, I was a partner of justice. Leave the island if you know what's good for you!" The man spoke boldly, even in this dire situation.
"You must have spilled pirate blood! I can't let you join us. You must die today."
Perospero revealed his bloodthirsty fangs.
"Enough talk!" The man stood firm, staring defiantly at the pirates.
"Family, let's start the fireworks show!"
Perospero raised his hand, pointing at the man trapped in candy.
The pirates understood, drawing pistols and cannons, aiming at their target.
"What are you waiting for? Fire!" Perospero said playfully, bloodthirsty.
Bang bang bang!
Gunshots rang out, hitting the middle-aged man.
A giant fireball ignited where he stood.
"Eh hahaha! This is the fate of fools. Remember, the Big Mom Pirates are not to be trifled with."
Perospero spread his hands arrogantly.
"It's you who should go to hell!"
Suddenly, a sharp voice cut through the smoke.
"Huh? Who?"
The pirates were confused.
"It's me who will show you!"
Kaizen's smiling face emerged from the smoke.
"What, a young boy!" the pirates exclaimed.
"You enjoy appearing at critical moments, don't you?" The middle-aged man broke free from the candy with Kaizen's help.
"It's just a coincidence. You don't think I'm some cliché hero, do you?"
Kaizen laughed, as if he and the man were old friends.
"Two cocky fools! I'll show you!"
Perospero clenched his candy staff angrily.
