Before Kalan and his group made their move, Li An had already signaled for the others to go back to the village gates. With her quick movements, she was able to traverse from the arena to the village gate in just a few seconds.
Her speed astounded Kalan, Argot, and Maera who watched with slack jaws as her figure sped away. It was like watching a little rabbit jump and run in a fast forward motion.
After entering the village, the large village gate made of thick wooden logs closes behind the group.
It was something that the bandits had already expected, so a few of them were already prepared. From the other corners of the village, a large group walked out of the shadows and glared at the tall wooden walls.
The village now seems to be surrounded from all sides.
