Chapter 3 - Ravenaire Guild House

The Ravenaire Guild House is the most prominent Guild in all of High Brook (Name of the Land Tyrn was once apart of, it is now broken into 5 smaller countries). This reputation includes the Capitals Guild house, who tries to compete for the top spot, but has been outshined for over a decade.

Ravenaire is more of a campus rather than a Guild House. With 5 large scale Inn's, 3 Award Winning Mabel Marked Restaurants, an Arena, training grounds, and a Beast Sanctuary for your companions to roam around while you shop, all on campus, making the Guild House the most visited tourist destination in all of High Brook. When you walk in the Large Guild House, you will be welcomed by a helpful staff, all with hours of professional training in Magical Beasts, Magical Items, Geography, and many more fields of study. After this, the guild opens up into a large bazaar, shopping center, filled with all one may desire. The Adventures stop in for Qualify Weapons from The Obsidian Raven, or top of the line magical regents and crystals from Cramer's Crystals.

Ravenaire is often the stop of any traveler coming into the capital, as it is only a 2 days ride from Ravenaire to the Capital. 1 day ride if you have a wind based mount. The Guild also have a one way road that leads straight to the Heart of Bayonetta, only taking a seasoned Merchant 2 weeks time.

The Guildhouse became famous for its one stop shop mentality. Being located close the Preying Wild's, a dense Jungle terrain that stretches all the way until No Man's land, miles and miles of uninhabited land, where no rules or governments reach. Places like these draw the attention of the powerful and greedy, looking for opportunities to strike big. Having all the supplies one will ever need,

The name of the guild has a dark past, as it was once the site of their bloodiest battle, leaving the entire area filled with corpses of those who protected the kingdom. It was the last stand for HighBrook and allowed them to escape the war intact. After the war end, many solider came back to visit the battle field in order to bury their fallen comrades. Yet when they arrived, most of the corpses were completely decayed, as the field was filled with Ravens, picking all they could off the dead. The sheer size of the flock was forever imprinted on the surviving warriors, claiming this area to be forever known as Ravenaire. The bloody battle field.

Today, all the hardened adventures stay in the small town that was built to accommodate all the adventures who stayed in Ravenaire. With quick access to each of the 4 prominent cities, as well as the Preying Wild's Rain forest, Ravenaire has become a hotspot for all travelers. The laws of Ravenaire are identical to the capital, but everyone knows the guards will turn a blind eye if you bribe them correctly. Ravenaire is built for the strong, and all the scum trying to extort those who don't know better. It is as close to anarchy as you can get in HighBrook, and the King is perfectly fine with this. It keeps the capital clean from the lowlifes, while also giving them plenty of menial tasks through the concept of Quests. Allowing for the city to have an ample amount of warriors, without having to pay a salary. It was the perfect exchange in the eyes of the king. Who cares about the spike in crime in Ravenaire, that's half the appeal of an adventure town; and so a profitable partnership formed between the guild and the crown. One that still lasts until today.

Yet; due to so many entry points, it is also a prime spot to destroy with the current war brewing. If the crown were to lose its connection to the Guild; then the war would be lost before the first true battle. Half of their fighting force would be defeated before they even had time to prepare. With this thought process, Bayonetta was ready to set forth their plan to destroy the guild with one attack. The Bayonetta wyrm was as perfect at annihilated as it was at stealth. Having access to worm under the Earths surface, the wyrm will be able to reach the Guild without being seen once. Complete annihilation awakes Ravenaire.

Awaiting, the disaster, sits one Mythical Magical beast, the only of his kind, a blood raven. This raven, is known to have two rare affinities, and two compatible bloodlines. Rumors about such a creature have circulated for years, and unbeknownst to all, a tier 1 blood raven was perched atop the adventure's guild.

That was true, until now. Prya Flynn, whose eyes just fluttered awake just awoke from a soul trance.

"I found her, she is in Tryn, on top of the Ravenaire Adventure Guild, how ironic. Set the course, we set out as soon as everything has been packed"

Cheers were heard throughout the caravan. This was a group of 20 or so misfits from her kingdom, that had been tracking the blood raven, along with her, for the past two months, ever since Prya had a dream of the creature calling out to her for help. Prya, knew instantly what this was, it was a Soul connection, and when you feel a soul connection, you act immediately. Once one has felt the connection, it is almost impossible to ignore, making it the single thought on Prya's mind. So after this dream, Prya quickly went to search for allies in order to travel to Ravenaire Guild, as it required her to travel all the way across her continent, and on to a new one. Yet, distance was no concern. Weeks of searching found her with a traveling merchant caravan, who sells products they crafted in The Dryad Animal Kingdom, to the neighboring continent. After a little persuasion, Prya ended up becoming a temporary member of the caravan, giving her the ability to pursue her soul beast.

In this world, some believe in the concept of a soul bond. They believe that in Mearth, there is one magical creature born with a perfectly compatible soul, and when you find your soul bond, both of you can gain mastery, as you will be twice as effective together as you were separated. Some spend hours trying to mediate into what is known as their soul space to feel for a sliver of a connection, but most of the time, this is a imperfect method of communicating with your soul bonded, at least, until you have completed the soul fusion.
