As he looked at the 3 names that appeared in front of him, Kai couldn't believe his eyes.
He glanced over at Amyla for a second before returning his attention to the list of names in front of him. In that brief second, he saw her smile as she nodded her head slowly.
Kai.
Amyla.
...
Koko.
'Koko is real?' Kai thought, glancing back to the empty space behind her.
At most, he had thought Koko was just a relic of her past. Some distant figure that had died, and with her grief not allowing her to move on she had created an image of him always following her in her mind.
But then... how would Etyrion see him? How would he know if Koko's existence–better yet, why would he think it's real?
"It's ok, Kai. No one can see Koko. Except Etyrion, but he's weird. Heh, very weird."
Turning his attention away from the vacant spot, Kai looked at her. She was smiling again, this time a little bigger.
