Shubhu touched his changed face and felt ready to embark on his journey with this new identity. He was no longer just an ordinary scientist; he was set to adapt to this world with a purpose.
Not far ahead lay a small village. Shubhu thought he might find some useful information there and headed toward it. As he approached the village entrance, he noticed a guard standing there. He was of short stature, but his eyes radiated intensity and determination. Holding a spear in his hand, it was clear that he was no ordinary man.
As Shubhu neared the village, the guard halted him. "Stop!" the guard said in a stern voice. "Who are you, and which god's heir are you?"
Shubhu quickly recalled his new identity. He had to keep his true self hidden in this unfamiliar world. After a brief pause, he replied, "I am the heir of the God of Dust, a forgotten deity."
The guard listened carefully and then pointed to a stone. "Place your hand on this 'Stone of Truth,'" he instructed. "So that it can be revealed whether you are evil or not."
Shubhu silently called for help from the spirits within him, and they responded instantly. He placed his hand on the stone, and after a few moments, it began to glow. This proved that Shubhu was not evil, and he successfully passed the test.
The guard breathed a sigh of relief and said, "It's good that you passed the test. But listen, there's someone out there killing the heirs of gods. That's why we, like lower-tier god heirs, must remain vigilant. Be careful, brother. By the way, what's your name?"
Without hesitation, Shubhu replied, "Shiva."
The guard nodded and warned, "Remember, Shiva, this world is not as it once was."
Continuing on his path, Shubhu moved toward what he had heard about the "Adventure Guild." He knew he needed more information and resources to advance his journey, so he took steps toward the guild.
Upon reaching the guild's entrance, he met Satya, a powerful warrior. As soon as Satya saw Shubhu, he recognized that he was from Earth.
"You're from Earth, aren't you?" Satya asked. Shubhu nodded in affirmation.
"I am Satya, the heir of the God of Destruction, Shiva," he proclaimed with pride. He was a high-tier god's heir, and his power was evident in his presence. He helped Shubhu navigate the formalities of joining the guild and informed him about its workings.
"If you want to work in the guild, you'll have to complete some tasks first. The first one involves entering a dungeon. It's an F-rank dungeon, and you can collect the 'Stone of Blood' from there. This will help you with your expenses and allow you to kickstart your journey," Satya explained.
Shubhu considered his words carefully. This was a new challenge, and he was ready for it. He could feel the energy of the spirits within him, motivating him for this new adventure.
When Shubhu reached the dungeon's entrance, he observed the unique atmosphere surrounding it. Tall walls loomed around, and a sense of mystery filled the air. As he got closer to the dungeon's gate, he noticed some new faces. They were different from each other but had a shared determination in their eyes.
There were three people: Ansh, who was the heir of the God of the Pond; Kavi, who was the heir of the God of Knives; and Tara, who was the heir of the God of Fire. When they spotted Shubhu, they approached him, and Ansh asked, "Are you alone?"
Shubhu lowered his head and replied, "Yes, I am alone."
"If you're thinking of going in alone, don't even think about it," Ansh warned. "If you go alone, your life could be at risk. We should stick together. You look like you're also the heir of a low-tier god."
Shubhu reflected on their words. It was true; he felt isolated and needed security. After a moment of consideration, he nodded in agreement.
"Alright, I will join you," Shubhu said.
Ansh smiled and added, "Great! I've invited a mid-level god heir who will help us conquer this dungeon."
Ansh looked around and then said, "Look, he's here."
Just then, a confident young man approached them. Ansh bowed his head and said, "Karan sir, thank you for coming."
Shubhu observed Karan. He seemed like an ordinary boy, but there was a deep power hidden within him. Shubhu found it a bit strange but chose not to comment.
Karan glanced at everyone and smiled. "I'm here to help you. We need to complete this dungeon together."
Shubhu felt a new wave of energy within him. His new allies, who were also heirs of gods, were now ready to assist him. This was a new opportunity, and Shubhu knew that together they could face any challenge ahead.
With that, they all set off toward the dungeon. Shubhu felt the spirits' energy within him and prepared himself to move forward. This was not just a quest for a dungeon but the beginning of a new journey, woven with stories of friendship, courage, and sacrifice.
