Based in China a poor town where people of bad life stays.

Not like Beijing their capital city. People in that area, often has hopes on going to Beijing only in there dreams. But not for Liu Ji Wei , who can do anything for money.

He, started working to earn money, which resulted to mockery by the villagers, they all mocked him saying.

" Ji Wei why are you stressing yourself? Just earn the little you can and feed your family instead of wasting over 20thousand yuan just for boarding a train. Your sister needed to get married too " a lady who have seen him several times discouraged.

Ji Wei however, modded at the woman but said nothing.

" Jie" as he fondly call his elder sister when he got home.

" Ah Wei, " his sister Liu Xing Li called with a smile on her face.

"Where's Mom and Dad?" He asked for asking sake.

" Are you sincerely asking?" Xing Li asked

" No I'm not" he replied not feeling guilty.

" Ah Wei, why's that?"

" Until they stop talking about marrying you off to the town's bully, I won't stop being on a tight spot with them "

Xing Li smiled at him " you still haven't changed, as stubborn as always " she smiled again.

" Jie " he called.

" Come let's eat, food's ready " she interrupted whatever he wanted to say.

Ji Wei didn't say anything else but followed her to a small room, where a small table and a food was kept.

On seeing what he saw on the table, he instantly grew angry

" Jie rice again?" He asked.

" That's what's left from the left over the town bully gave our dad, from the feast they held yesterday "

Ji Wei fumed " wait, we are eating leftovers like are we dogs?" He asked losing his appetite.

" Ah Wei " she called

" Jie let's runaway " he suggested.

Xing Li frowned at the statement* " Ah Wei, I've told you, haven't I? That it's not possible "i

" Why isn't it possible?" Ji Wei asked

" Only the town bully's son has traveled to Beijing and the train only allows those with the money. The money you have now is only for food. You are angry you are being served food from leftovers. Earn yours and change history "

Ji Wei tool it as an advice even though his sister was serious about every single she said. It's only his sister's words that was considered. Whenever he hears that, he would feel moved to the point that he would rethink his decision. But after seeing the malicious words the bully's son throws at them, especially his sister, his motivation grew even stronger than ever.

Unknown to Xing Li, Ji Wei has saved just enough for himself. But he was afraid they might treat his sister like a trash can, he feared his sister's tears more than anything. And he's ready to wait a decade and travel with his sister, than travel leaving his sister in misery.

" After lunch, they both sat side to side and said nothing. It was as if they were talking inwardly to themselves.

Their parents returned with the town bully and his son. They were all talking freely like they noticed not the children.

" Mom , Dad" Xing Li called. Their faces changed when they saw them like they saw a ghost.

" Ah, you both are here" their mom said showing a disgusting smile.

" If you're not happy to see us, we can leave you to your conspiracy" Ji Wei said and dragged his sister out of the tiny room, leaving their parents speechlessness.

" You..." Before the father could finish, they had already gone.

" Hehehe" the mother let out an awkward smile.

" Mr. Li, have a seat" they urshered.

With the look on their face, the Liu parents knew deep down that they were disgusted at them but they just smiled at it.

In the field where Ji Wei works, the two were laughing heavily as if waiting for the day such thing would happen.

To Ji Wei, he was laughing imagining the look on their faces when they would mock them for leaving poorly when they know full well that their house is exactly like theirs with the only difference that their son has countlessly travelled by train to Beijing.

While to Xing Li, it was her brother's happiness. The actual reason she wasn't hesitating to marry the bully's son was because, only the son can help him live a better life in Beijing.

" Jie, what are you thinking about?" Ji Wei asked coming towards her

" Ah Wei, I'm thinking about you" she replied with an uncomfortable smile.

" Me? Did I do something thing wrong?"

" So, you do know " she replied showing an expressionless face.

" How can I not know? But jie why of all time girls it's you?"

" Our parents ought to know the reason. And I'm not complaining am I ?" She smiled.

" You know at a time, I really hate the way you talk. Many girls are ready to kill just to be with him, the privileged psycho I'm sure and I know you don't want this marriage to go on, right?" He asked looking deep into her eyes.

She blushed " why are you looking at me like that?" Xing Li asked smiling.

" Oh, don't just change the topic."

" Don't act ignorant, you and I know the reason why I'm agreeing to this marriage"
