A luxurious car glided through the winding roads heading towards the quaint town of Blackwood

Surrounded by lush greenery and towering trees. Sitting on the back seat is a bronze skin young man, his black hair was pulled back into a tight bun and piercing purple eyes which were gazing on the passing scenery.

He was dressed in a tailored black suit that exuded elegance.

The car made its way to the outskirts of the town, soon a large mansion came into veiw, its sprawling grounds dotted with manicured gardens and old oak trees.

As the car pulled up to the grand entrance of the mansion, the young man stepped out and saw a tall man with black hair and eyes standing infront of the entrance, he wore a well tailored green suit and has a dragon tattoo on his neck, the man was his uncle Macus and behind him was an old butler in a crisp black uniform.

"Welcome my dear Kilan i trust you have a pleasant journey " said Macus who was filled with joy upon seeing his little nephew.

The young man nodded, a smile playing on his lips" yes uncle Mac it went smoothly how have you been "

"Hahaha busy as usual " Macus casually answered as he introduced his butler " this is Sir Zenneth my butler, he is responsible for the well-being of the mansion. The butler bowed to the young master and gestured the maids to bring in his luggage as they head inside mansion.

"Sir Zenneth take my nephew to his room to rest he has a long day" hearing his Lord's orders the butler obediently led the young master to the stairs, the young man followed him into the maze-like corridors adorned with ornate decorations and intricate tapestries.

Soon they arrived at his new room, a luxurious suite with a large four poster bed and a balcony for a breathtaking veiw of the town and the gardens below.

" young master you must be tired from your long journey please rest dinner will be serve in the next two hours"

"Alright " Kilan answered as he watched the butler take his leave.

Alone in his room he took off his suit and flopped into the bed, feeling the exhaustion and weariness of the journey wash over him, he quickly drifted off to sleep.

In a gloomy room Kilan was standing infront of his parents corpses with blood on his trembling hands and behind him was a dark shadow whispering to him.

"You kill.....kill them all..."

"No....i didn't n-no" the boy held his head trying to resist.

Knock knock

Kilan was woken by the soft tapping on the door, it was the butler .

"Young master, the lord is waiting for you at the dinning hall "

"Give me a minute "

Kilan quickly freshen up and was led by the butler into the hall where he found his uncle seated at the head of the table, a feast spead out before him.

The two men fell into easy conversation catching up on the latest news and gossips.

After dinner, as they sipped on port and nibbled on desserts, Kilan suddenly asked his uncle " uncle Mac has there been any clues about my parents muderer"

"...." Macus was caught off guard by the question and the look on his face darkened for a second before turning back into a smile. " lets finish the desserts first then we can talk "

"Alright " Kilan agreed as there were many eyes in the hall, the duo continued eating in silence.

After finishing the desserts, Macus led Kilan to his study. The room was lined with bookshelves and art collections.

"Sit down" Macus gestured Kilan towards a plush armchair.

Phew...." Kilan..." Macus called him in a low voice " Its been five years since the incident and the police are till investigating the culprit but are still unable to fine any clues, after all no fingerprints or foreign items were found on the secne " Macus crossed his legs and continued "it was as if there was no intruder"

Kilan listened to his uncle explanations with a calm expression.

After explaining the police's investigations , he add with a reassuring smile" don't worry the family is also investigating the culprit, aunt Mary is a private detective whose also doing her own investigation" he clenched his fist and added " our family has been a target of many influential industries who tried to tear down the our family business but... to think they will go to such length is just unacceptable that's why i promise you that we will get to the bottom of this " he looked at Kilan with determination in his eyes.

Kilan smiled at him and the two switched the conversation to their family business, after an hour passed Kilan bid goodnight to his uncle and went to his room.

The moonlight was streaming through the windows casting a soft glow over the room. Kilan walked towards the balcony, the cool night air refreshing against his skin as he gazed out at the twinkling stars above.

" the police couldn't find anything nor my family...as expected" Kilan mumbled to himself, his family had always believed that the death of his parents were orchestrated by one of the opposition families, a long-standing feud that had been simmering for generations.

But he knew the truth, he saw "him" on that day "his" smiling face that made his blood run cold. As Kilan was about to close the balcony door he felt a sudden chill ran down his spine, he grazed out and saw a faint dark aura emanating from the forest.

" hijeng..." without any hesitation Kilan wore his coat and pulled out a purple pendant that hung around his neck, it was a gift from his grandmother to help him seal his powers and it also has the ability to make the wearer invisible to others.

He leaped off the balcony and landed on the garden below , gazing at the distance Kilan clenched his pendant "Acel!"

His body slowly disappear from the garden and reappear infront of the forest entery.

Without looking back Kilan blended into the shadows of the trees.
