Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Yhuki, the Royal Noble , introduced himself with confident calm. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Yhuki Frost, a royal noble of the Frost family. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." he spoke with a calm authority,as his low, resonant voice filled the room.

The conversation began, a dance of carefully chosen words about trade routes, alliances, and the delicate balance of power in Eridoria. It was a world of strategic partnerships and political maneuvering, a world that Lord Solace navigated with practiced ease.

Hyun, however, found himself utterly bored. His gaze drifted to the ornate table, where a leather-bound book lay temptingly close, fighting the urge to read them to escape the stifling formality of the meeting. But he knew that it would be a blatant show of disrespect towards the Royal noble. He sat rigidly, listening with his fingers drumming a silent rhythm against his leg.

"arghhhh~ how long would this meeting ends?" he speaks at his mind.

Hyuna, his sister, was captivated. From the moment Yhuki's eyes met hers, a spark ignited within her.

His smile, sent a shiver down to her spine. She found herself drawn to his every word, his every gesture. She wanted him to notice her, to see beyond her family's status and recognize the woman she was.

Yhuki lifted the delicate porcelain cup to his lips, the warm steam caressing his face. He took a slow sip, the liquid a comforting warmth spreading through him. Then, his eyes widened. A gasp escaped his lips, barely audible. This wasn't just tea; it was an experience. A symphony of flavors danced on his tongue – a subtle sweetness, a gentle bitterness, a refreshing lightness all perfectly balanced. He savored the lingering taste, a complex tapestry woven from the finest leaves.

He set the cup down with a soft clink, his mind still reeling from the exquisite taste. Even the royal court, with its endless supply of imported teas, couldn't boast a brew so flawlessly crafted. He felt a wave of genuine surprise wash over him, a rare occurrence for one so accustomed to luxury.

"Remarkable," he murmured, the word barely a breath. He looked around the cozy room, the scent of freshly brewed coffee mingling with the lingering aroma of the tea. A warmth spread through him, a feeling far more profound than the simple comfort of a hot drink.

He turned his attention to the host, a gentle smile gracing his lips. "The House of Solace," he began, his voice filled with sincere admiration, "your coffee is, of course, renowned, but this… this tea surpasses even my highest expectations." His gaze lingered on the steaming cup, a testament to the unexpected delight he had just experienced. It was a moment of quiet appreciation, a simple pleasure elevated to an art form.

"Oh! Thank you, Your Majesty," he exclaimed, his voice filled with genuine gratitude. "I'm glad you enjoyed the tea, your majesty. It's a tea that my youngest son, Hyun, made". he added.

" Ahh I see..." Yhuki glanced at Hyun, who met his gaze with a respectful yet detached smile. "Your tea was delicious," Yhuki said, with his voice gentle yet deep.

"thank you, your majesty, I am honored." Hyun was really unbothered about it, because he gotten used to people complimenting him, but he responded with his tone respectful yet detached. as his mind was thinking of reading the book he left on reading earlier.

"would you like me to pour you another tea, your majesty?" She carefully chose her moments to speak, her voice soft yet clear, as her words was designed to catch his attention.

"Sure".he said and smiled.

Hyuna slowly poured a tea on the porcelain cup, Hyuna's movements were as slow and deliberate as the setting sun. With gentle care, she poured the steaming tea into the fine porcelain cup, her fingers light as feathers against the cool ceramic. The quiet concentration on this simple act revealed a depth of character, a quiet strength hidden beneath a gentle exterior.

Hyuki was impressed on how Hyuna slowly poured the tea in the cup."hmm... you're quite skilled." he complimented.

"I've trained," Hyuna replied, blushing,

"but I'm glad I had a chance to show you, Your Majesty." she said as she blushes and smile.

after that, their conversation resumed, but the underlying tension remained and blah blah blah.....

Finally, Lord Solace brought the meeting to a an end.

"Our meeting ends here, Your Majesty," he declared, his voice a blend of relief and respect.

"finally...". Hyun said as he sighs in relief that the meeting was finally over.

Yhuki noticed him sighing and then smiled, a brief, almost imperceptible flash of something that might have been amusement or something more.

"Thank you for your time," he replied, his tone polite but distant.

"Ahh..., no, Your Majesty. We're honored by your visit, we should be the one thanking you." Lord Solace bowed deeply as he smiled with his words sincere and respectful.

""Anyway, Your Majesty," Lord Solace continued, a subtle gleam in his eye, "if you happen to have some time, perhaps my youngest son, Hyun, could show you around the house? We have a rather lovely garden, with a large fountain, and a view that's quite impressive."

Yhuki steepled his fingers, considering. "Hmm, I do have some time to stroll. A beautiful garden and impressive view… those are always welcome diversions. Perhaps Hyun can show me this lovely garden of yours?" A hint of a smile played on his lips.

Hyun was shocked* his mind screamed in silent horror at his father's offer to Yhuki, as he saw his freedom shattered in his mind. "noooooooo!!!!!!!!!!, my freedoommm!!!!!!!!" he thought. While his father was smiling thinking it would be nice if they become close friends.
