"The soft knock at the door signaled the arrival of the servant, who announced, 'Your Majesty, your meal is served.' Yhuki's gaze lingered on the garden view before responding, 'Enter.'
The servant bowed, his liveried attire crisp, and placed the steaming dishes on the ornate table. The aroma of roasted meats and fresh herbs wafted through the air, enticing Yhuki's senses.
As the servant departed, Dan appeared at the doorway, papers clutched in his hand. His eyes cast downward, he approached Yhuki. 'Your Majesty, I've gathered the information you requested.'
Yhuki's nod was subtle, his attention still on the garden. Dan knelt, her head bowed in respect, and handed him the documents. 'You may go,' he dismissed him, with his tone measured.
With the papers in hand, Yhuki poured himself a cup of tea from the delicate china pot. He savored the aroma, but his first sip brought a hint of disappointment. '...Hmm, this tea is not even comparable to Solace Manor's,' he murmured, recalling the nuanced flavors of his childhood home.
As he scanned the documents, his eyes narrowed. The word 'Beta' leapt from the page, clarifying the mystery. Yhuki's gaze intensified, his mind racing. 'No wonder I couldn't detect his pheromones... So, he was a beta all along.'
Yhuki leaned back in his chair, and put the tea in the table. Hyun's smile flashed in his mind, and he chuckled softly.
"i must be crazy..." he reminded himself, shaking his head.
"I should probably eat now, and sleep. Tomorrow's tasks are mounting... sighs* Those bunch of paperworks are killing me."
With a sigh, Yhuki began his meal, savoring each bite. The flavors danced on his palate, a welcome respite from the weight of his duties.
Later, the servant returned to retrieve the plates, and Yhuki was finally got to bed and sleep.
'Good night,' he whispered, the softness of his bed beckoning. His eyelids closed, and the world outside receded, as he surrendered to the allure of sleep."

Morning's warm light crept through the windows, accompanied by the sweet serenade of birdsong.
*_Chirp, chirp, chirp_*
Hyun stirred, stretching languidly.
"Hmmmm... Is it morning already?" He yawned, shaking off slumber's remnants.
Hyun suddenly remembered his daily ritual, his face brightened.
"Oh right! I have to water the flowers in the garden!"
Hyun hastily changed into comfortable attire and rushed outside, the dewy grass tickling his bare feet. As he watered the vibrant blooms, he sang a gentle melody:
'Oh, petals so delicate,
Drinking in the morning's dew,
In Solace Manor's garden, I find peace,
Among nature's beauty, my heart renews.'
The flowers swayed to Hyun's soothing voice, their colors intensifying as they absorbed the nourishing water. The air filled with the sweet scent of blooming flora, invigorating Hyun's senses."
"As Hyun tended to the flowers, a soft voice interrupted his serenade. "Lord Hyun, Lord Solace invited you to a breakfast meal."
"..ah, yes."
Hyun nodded, coincidentally famished. "Perfect timing!, I was just about to eat too."
Hyun followed the servant,Upon entering the dining hall, Lord Solace, his father, greeted him warmly. "Ah, Hyun, come and join us."
As they broke bread and eat breakfast together, Lord Solace asked, "How's your friendship with Yhuki going.?"
Hyun shrugged nonchalantly. "Father, we've only met once. We can't become close friends in one day, just because we exchanged a few words."
"HAHAHAHAHA!, you're really good at joking you know! HAHAHAHA!!" lord solace laughter filled the hall, as his father continued to laugh, hyun was getting annoyed, as his cheeks blushing of embarrassed.
Hyuna's gaze lingered on Hyun, with an unreadable expression. she was glaring at him with narrowed eyes with a hint of jealousy flickering around her face.
After a few chit chat, they finally finish eating breakfast. Hyun thanked his father for inviting him and bowed on her sister.
As Hyun was about to go, her sister Hyuna, requested a private talk with him, he then aggread as he kinda know what's his sister Hyuna, gonna ask him.
[backstory]
After their mother's passing, Hyun and Hyuna's relationship began to fray. The once-close siblings now acted like strangers, their interactions strained.
Hyun, the youngest, had been their mother's pride and joy. She had lavished attention on him, making Hyuna feel overlooked and resentful. Hyuna, once the center of attention, now saw Hyun as a rival, a competitor for their mother's affection.
Their mother's love had been Hyun's solace, but to Hyuna, it felt like a betrayal. She began to withdraw, her jealousy simmering beneath the surface.
As time passed, the distance between them grew. They only interacted out of obligation, their conversations stilted.
Hyuna's eyes would narrow whenever she saw Hyun's carefree smile. She couldn't help but feel that he had stolen their mother's attention, leaving her in the shadows.
"Why did Mother always favor him?" Hyuna would wonder, her heart heavy with resentment.
She began to see Hyun as a constant reminder of her own perceived shortcomings. His presence felt like a threat, a competition for the attention she craved.
Hyun was unaware of Hyuna's feelings, continued to live in the warmth of their mother's memory. He didn't notice the chill in Hyuna's demeanor, too caught up in his own grief.
Their mother's passing had left a void in his life, and he struggled to fill it. He didn't realize that his sister was fighting her own battles, her anger and jealousy masking a deeper pain.
As the days turned into weeks, the rift between Hyun and Hyuna grew too wide to bridge. They became strangers, their conversations limited to polite formalities.
[End of backstory]
As they were alone together in a room, the room was filled in silent only the tea pot's gentle clacking and cookie crunching filled the air, punctuating the uncomfortable silenc, as Hyun started to wonder why his sister even requested a private talk to him if they won't even talk.
"Hyun, is the cookies to your taste?" she said as he covered her face with a fake smile.
"...It's, good." he said nonchalantly,"Why did Sister Hyuna requested a private talk to me? is it about that royal noble again?" he thought.
"but that's nothing to do with me, father just want me to get close to him as a friend so why is she getting jealous?" he speaks at his mind as he starting to get confused.
"anyway hyun, are you going to attend the magic school academy?"
" yes , sister Hyuna, it's my dream to study there and learn more about magic!" he said excitedly as he was really geared to go there.
" hmm... I seel, our talk ends now, I leave first and you can also leave now, thank you for your time." she said as she walk away leaving Hyun in the room filled of silent only the clacking sound of door was making a sound as his sister left the room.
"... huh? what was that? ...that's all? she could just ask me.., why call a private talk?" he thought, as he begun to question his mind.
a sighs let out on Hyun's mouth as he leaned his head on the soft sofa, getting a flashback of the royal noble, touching the moonlight flowers.
"sighs... why does he have to show in my mind..." he said as he shoke his head off.
A minute later Hyun finally leave the room as he goes into the library and read some books.
