Afterwards Ebsilon Law goes up the stage as everyone else claps for him and he says "Greetings to you all. I am glad to finally be in Grandviville, and wish to learn as much as needed. I hope that all of you would hold out the rules and laws at all times. If you need, you may ask me for said rules and laws when needed as I have memorized them All. Thank you." Saif comments how short and straight to the point he was, and he feels like its a trend this year as the 11 families's students always have hours per speech. Kento affirms that comment about how he is also really impressed that they were able to put so much meaning in such a small amount of words. Afterwards, Fuun starts walking to the stage and gets up there with an applause. He then says "For all of you here, most have entered Grandviville by just dumb luck, and yes, I am talking about all of you E and D class people. So don't think your luck will stay on your side, okay. So don't dare any of you rely on it when you don't know how to manipulate luck to your advantage. There is no such thing as luck. There is only probability. So for you to stay in Grandviville, and become a student worthy of its name, then make the probability of your success as high as it can get!" He then walks off the stage as everyone claps for him, and with a peculiar sense of new determination unlocked. So they start to cheer louder for him. Then Saif and Kento notice that he was taking money from Ebsilon, so Saif says to Kento that it was probably a bet that if he was able to make a speech that inspired the people here, he would win. Kento then says with an empty voice how he thought he was saying all of that from the heart like Clair and Ebsilon did, and how he wished that there was more nice people in the S class this year.
Afterwards, the principle announced that now it was the turn of the none probable heirs, now please, Lusial get on the stage and after you will be Aria. Lusial then gets and walks to the stage without an applause unlike with all the other probable heirs and gets on stage and says "I am Lusial, And I…" He says those first few words with determination in his voice and with a very serious tone and look, and then says "I am and will always be the number one person that will love Clair always." He says it in the most serious way. Then his face turns so goofy that you can't help not not cringe at it and while doing that, he also makes a heart shape with his hands and points it at Clair as she face palms. Then he becomes serious and determined again and says "So any of you who think they can be comparable to me with loving Clair, I will crush your dream myself. That means no clubs about loving Clair, no fan meeting to talk about how amazing Clair is, and no talking about how you can even get close to Clair because only I can love her this much. Even though I can understand a person who obsess over her, only I can fanboy about her as no one else can fanboy about her as much as me, and only I can get close to her as no one else will appreciate being close to her as much as me, and no one can talk about how amazing she is as only I can truly comprehend how truly amazing Clair is! Clair has and will always be my one and only, and no else can have her. You understand! And so, I will prove my greatness and worthiness of Clair by trying to become half as amazing as she is, just to be able to be by her side. So anyone who thinks they can just waltz in and think they can love Clair as much as I do, then wake up to reality already!"
You and Kento and everyone else are astonished at his adusity, but honestly, you admire his determination greatly, even if it's really weird. Then clapping starts to echo through the auditorium, no one knows who can possibly be clapping for that. Turns out, it was actually Clair clapping for him but then stops and says that someone like him is appalling to her. With heart eyes Lusial then says "You are still cute when you are disgusted!" in a goofy way. Afterwards he just goes down the stage and Aria is then soon to follow up the stage with also no applause but only one clapps for her while she is walking and it was her twin brother Yuto. She goes up to the stage and says "H-Hello everyone. I-i am Aria Boggu, and it's a pleasure to here learning at G-g…g-Grandviville." Everyone gets second hand cringe from that performance and how awkward it was, but the loud silence is broken by the sound of clapping and applause of only one person and it's again her brother cheering her on. She then quietly gets off the stage and back to her set, really embarrassed. When looking at her, Saif noticed that she looked directly at him after she sat down for a few seconds, but then she looked away quickly. Saif just thinks that she just was looking behind her to see what people thought, so he brushed the thought away.
After that, everyone thought that the principal and staff would make their final speeches with the people who exiled in the S class last year and that this event will finally be over, but then the principal announced ow there will be no speeches done by the S class of last year as their performance was both lacking and horrendous, so they don't get this prestige this year. So to fill this gap, both Saif and Kento will get up on stage to give their own speeches. Everyone now is in shocked silence as there is a mix of surprise, shock, jealousy and envy in the air that both Saif and Kento will be able to give a speech that the whole world would see. After a few seconds, the principal calls for Saif to get on stage. You and Kento just share one look of shock and that was all you both needed to know that you both didn't see this coming. You and Kento, 2 none 11 family members giving a speech at Grandviville entrance ceremony is unheard of. I guess now you two know not to be shocked that much anymore after you two enter the S class after all, and that's a miracle in itself.
The principal then calls out for your name again, and excited, but still a bit nervous, you get up and walk up to the stage. When you look in front of you, you see how disgusted and annoyed the whole student body is because of you standing there. Their jealousy is beyond aperent. Then you look at the heirs and see both Zoldic and Delta having an unreadable look, but with a slight hint of annoyance. Angelina also giving you a double thumbs-up with a smile, and Anna just looks intrigued by what you are going to do next. You can't see Lucy properly due to lighting, and you think to yourself how you really only saw her silhouette the entire time. As for Clair, she has a look of indifference and stoicism. Yuto just has the look of let's just get this over with already look on his face while holding his forehead. Eleanor just looks really bored by this and has a hand on her chin. Elpidius doesn't really care that much but still for some reason has a look of jealousy that you barely notice. Ebsilon also has an indifferent stoic look like Clair. Fuun isn't even paying attention to what's happening that much. Aria and Lusial are just waiting to see what will happen next, but when you looked at Aria, her eyes just moved a bit away to the side, like she was avoiding your gaze. You look at Kento and he looks nervous for you.
You then look at the whole student body and the world, prepared to give your heart out in this speech to inspire people with it and show your determination. But then something stopped you. It was a feeling like someone is telling you to not say anything. So you just stood there, frozen, not able to utter a single word or move a single muscle. You try to think and move and say something, anything, but your mind is now a blank, not able to think of or do anything at all. You stay like that, the only thing happening is a tiny struggle sound that can so barely be heard by you, try to say something. You just stared at the crowd frozen for what felt to you like an eternity before the principal tapped your shoulder and told you that it's okay to be nervous and that you can go back to your seat. Now you are able to move your body again and you look at him with shock, while seeing sympathy in his eyes. While walking back, you are astonished by what just happened. You couldn't even utter a single word, only just a struggle of a sound went out. You weren't nervous to the point that you couldn't speak, you were slightly nervous. You look at the student body and see how happy they are that you have made such a fool out of yourself and see a smile on Delta's face, Zoldic still looking stoic and unreasonable, but a bit amused. Angelina looks sorry for you as is Clair. Fuun just loudly laughs as Ebsilon just looks at him disappointed, then at you, you cant tell what he is thinking with the look he has given you. Yuto just looks a bit shocked from the amount of stage fright he saw, but a bit confused too. You can't see Aria or Lusial. Anna has a bored look. Eleanor just give the 'I knew it' look. You still can't see Lucy's face. Ebsilon also has an amused look on his face. Everyone is shaming you for what happened by their looks and whispers, but frankly, what's occupying your mind right now is why did you freeze like that, it wasn't like you at all.
When you finally reach your seat again and sit back down, Kento tries to comfort you, but you are not focusing on him, just your thoughts as you try to explain what just happened. It couldn't have been a super power, there are too many here that have search like powers, and if that isn't enough, if Kento the prodigy didn't sense anything, so it wasn't a super power. Was it you? Was it that you were the one who was this nervous and didn't even know? Your thoughts are interrupted by the principal awkwardly trying to tell Kento to go to the stage for his speech, trying to change the subject from this absolute fail. Kento springs up after hearing his name and then looks at you. You look back, you put on a smile and tell him that you are fine now and you guessed that you were more nervous than you thought. You make an okay sign with your finger to Kento to encourage him. After seeing that you are fine, he nervously starts to walk to the stage. The world is watching this, Kento at the stage sees how everyone is staring daggers at him, wishing he would shame himself like Saif did. He looks at the heirs and what looks they have and sees these stoic creepy looks on their faces, but only Angelina is giving him an encouraging smile and giving him a double thumbs-up. Kento is even more nervous now after what he saw you do. To Kento, you were a guy with not even a care in the world, and a lot more confidence than him, so if you forze, what will he do? That last thought made him way more nervous than he already was. Kento stutters and says "M-my name is K-kento Messenja, and it's my greatest pleasure to be learning at Grandviville among the rest of the 11 family heirs in this year's S class." He says while bowing his whole upper body to not only show respect, but also not to not be seen as rude towards the 11 families, but also to stop seeing how people are looking at him. He walks off the stage with his head down until he reaches his seat.
His face is now pale from how scared he was. You tell Kento that it was a nice speech and that he shouldn't worry about it too much. You also try to cheer him up by telling him how you did way worse than him, so he shouldn't sweat it. Kento is still a bit zoned out but after a few seconds, the principal quickly says that he and the staff will give their speechs, but you and Kento practically couldn't hear then from what just happened. The staff greet you all and every class now knows which teacher they are getting and which class rooms they will occupy. You of the S class didn't really need that much info about those things as there is just a single S class, unlike how there is for example B class 1 to 10 because of the amount of students that entered, so there is only one class room for the S class and only one teacher for most subjects.
Afterwards, you all get up and walk to your classes. After it all ended, you felt like you have moved on from the embarrassing event because it's the first time you were laughed at like this, not to the scale of the whole world, but still, but for Kento, not so much as he is still ashamed of himself. But then you get approached by Angelina who tries to cheer both you and Kento on by telling you that both of your performances weren't bad. Both of you weren't prepared for this. Giving a speech was a surprise for us all, so you couldn't mentally prepare yourselves, so you both shouldn't worry too much okay. She then walks away as Kento says how much of a real life angle she is. You tell him to snap out of his daze and you both should have to go to your classroom now to not miss the first day of class. Kento then says with a disappointed voice "Oh no, I forgot to thank her." Saif then looks at him puzzled as says how she left before we could even talk, so I think she did that to show she didn't need thanks. Kento shakes his head and says how he wanted to thank her for what she did to his mother all those years ago. You get reminded of that and give him a look of sympathy and tell him that she is letraly in our class and he will obviously get a chance to thank her later, but he should prepare himself for it and give as much thanks as he can and not half ass it. Saif then jokingly says that he also needs to prepare himself to not get nervous. Kento gives him an empty look and tells him not to go there, and with a joking voice says "Mr.Freeze." After that amount of distraction from roster you just walk to class in silence and tell him to never call you that again. He laughs and follows you, and it feels like you both put that embarrassing event behind you, at least for now. While walking there, you see all the students that you pass laughing at you and Kento and whispering. Kento just looks down at the ground because of this whole situation and looks at you and sees how indifferent you are. He asks if you hear and see what's happening, and you reply with yes. He asks how you aren't bothered by any of it. You look at him confused and ask "Why should I care what people like them think? People who are jealous instead of improving themselves. People Who talk trash about others behind their backs. Their opinions are meaningless to me. It just annoys me a bit."
Kento just looks shocked by all of this that you are just slightly pissed. He doesn't question you any further and just walks to the class while people are still making fun of you two. Saif tries to distract Kento from it all and asks him if he ever cheated in an exam with his power. Kento, now surprised by the sudden question, tells him of course he would never. Saif laughs and says how he was just checking and they start chatting away till they reach their class room as Kento is now finally distracted from all those annoying people. When you finally reach the door to your classroom, you find that it's a big double door that has a lot of fancy carving and looks like a really thick door. In the middle of the 2 doors, there is a big golden S.
