As you both finally reach your classroom, you take a good look at the door. Saif is the first to move and pulls the door open and they both see that it's a decently big classroom that can fit more desks than it has. The room has a lot of fancy decorations. When inside, Saif and Kento notice that only three of the 11 families' students are already inside, and they are Fuun, Ebsilon and Elpidius. Saif and Kento see their teacher sitting at his desk. His name is Edward Benzely. You knew that from the ceremony, but up close now that you look at him, he is much more intimidating. You and Kento go and sit in the furthest seats at the back as those are your assigned seats. You took the one next to the window and Kento took the one next to you to the right. After you look at the classroom, you notice 5 seats are empty, and the only ones missing are Zoldic, Delta, Angelina, Lucy, Anna, Aria, Yuto Eleanor, and the none 11 family person like you and Kento that still haven't arrived yet.
After a while, Zoldic, Delta and Angelina all walk into the classroom, then after a while, Anna enters back into class, then a bit after Anna enters is when Aria, Yuto and Eleanor finally arrive. Edward then gets up from his seat. He writes his name on the board and says that his name is Edward, and he will be your teacher for your every subject for the rest of your years in Grandviville. He stares at you and Kento for a second and then says that he doesn't appreciate that vermin have contaminated the pure class of the S class, but as he can't do anything about it, he will just have to make the rats lives hell to make them release how out of their league are that they should have left already. This is all this really is. You and Kento both know that his words are pointed at both of you two, but there is nothing any of you two can do about it.
He then looks at the board and writes down the curriculum and says as every person has generally different super powers, they will obviously learn differently aspects of using said super power, and this curriculum that he wrote down is just an oversimplification of events that is just there to help with organisation. Edward then says "And sadly, some in this class are going to be dead weight anyway, even if we organised the curriculum for simplicity." He then says "The point is, the curriculum you see here is going to be generally what you all will learn. For explain, how to use your powers in almost every scenario that it's useful in to gain as much advantages in those situations as possible, and in your next years here, or at least most of you, you will also learn how to also use your powers to gain as much advantage as possible even in situation that aren't what your powers are used for, or is seen practically useless in. Yet after what you will learn here in Grandviville, you will always make the most of your powers in any and every situation." You will also learn general knowledge and problems solving skills, except you miss Anna, as you will take a more severe course than everyone else in that area of knowledge that wont be depending on your powers. "Am I understood? And does anyone have any questions?" Edward asks and only You, Kento, Aria, Clair and Lusial are the only ones to respond, but Lusial probably just responded because Clair did with the slight delay it took him to reply. The teacher then asks everyone to go outside for a quick first day practical exam.
You are all now outside in the field and see that it's completely empty with students staring at all of you from outside a certain circular perimeter. Edward then asks first Zoldic to throw a tennis ball as far and hard as he can and as accurately in the north direction as he can. Zoldic takes the tennis ball and tells him to not boss him around again. He then takes the ball and throws it almost 500 meters away effortlessly as shown on the tracker device in Edward's hand, but it lands more to the northwest direction. '3/10', says Edward as Zoldic is now fuming that he didn't get a perfect score. He then asks in a very rude way why the hell he didn't get a perfect score. Edward tells him that he asked of him to throw the ball to the northernmost direction, and he throw it more to the northern west direction. Zoldic is not even more pissed and asked in an angry and rude way why the hell they even need to do this practical bullshit when they have already displaying their capabilities in the entrance exam, and he got an S+++ on that one, so he doesn't understand how he gave him just a 3 out of 10. Edward was about to reply, but then Anna interrupted and said how much of an idiot Zoldic must be. Zoldic then turns to her with a look of murder on his face and asks her to explain herself before he takes off her jaw. She nonchalantly then explains how Edward just needs to see our real world performances with an extra hard pop exam like this one to evaluate our performance now with his own eyes as our teacher, and will probably give us a similar exam at the end of the year to see how much we improved. So don't go killing him just for something this pity. Edward says how Anna's words are correct, 5/10 as that was her own exam. Anna then says how she expected such a grade to be given to her to motivate her or whatever bullshit Edward is planning, but it's still annoying to hear. Zoldic grabs Anna by the caller and tells her to never talk to him like that again, even if she is the daughter of that insane man who calls himself the head of the 4th family. He lets go of her caller and she just brushes where his hand was with a smirk and is actually happy because this was exactly what she expected, so to her, she figured out how Zoldic thinks exactly.
Then the others are tested with either running, and Delta got a 3.5/10. Zoldic just stares at him while Delta just tells him to do better next time or he would leave him in the dust. As the others had their special tests done, the scores were as follows (As right now I don't want some aspects of their powers to be revealed just yet): Yuto, Clair, Angelina, Ebsilon, Eleanor and Lusial got a 3/10. Aria and Fuun both got a 1/10. And Elpidius got a 4/10. When it was Kento's turn, he also got a score of 3/10 which actually impressed Edward, but then in a rude tone told him to not let it get to his head just because of one victory. When it was your turn, your task was to hold as much vibrations inside of you as you can possibly hold, then realise all those vibrations in one big quick impulse. As instructed, you gather as much vibrations in your body as you can, and then Edward tells you to release it on the ground like an impulse "Now!" He says. You get on your knees then slam your hands on the floor to add more power to it, and with all your concentration, you release all the stored vibrations, and the vibrations produced by the strike of your hand to the ground as an impulse vibration. After evaluating the power of your impulse, Edward gives you and unreasonable look and says that you got a score of -2 out of 10. You are shocked for a second, but you honestly saw that one coming. You are surrounded by prodigies and elites, so you expected just a zero, but when he made your score go to the negative, it stung even more.
Edward then give you the most disgusted look and asks how in the hell did someone like you enter the class of the elite. Even though you know he added harshness to those words on purpose, they still hit you like a whip to the heart. When get up from the floor, still tired from what you just did, you look at Edward and lower your head to him, you then say "Thank you for giving me a proper score, and I wish that next time I retake this test at the end of the year, I would have learned so much from you that I would be able to achieve a perfect score!"
With still a look of disgust on his face, he says that you will just still be a disappointment, so it wouldn't matter what you say now and looks away. After you were finished, it was around lunch time, so you all were dismissed. As you were walking, Zoldic tells you and Kento to go to a blind spot in the corner and give you a look of absolute disgust and irritation. When you and Kento follow as you can't deny Zoldic's commands, you find that both Delta and Lusial were also there. When Zoldic and you two get there, Zoldic punches Lusial and he falls to the ground, and then walks up to Kento to also punch him, but you stand in front him and take the punch instead. Even though you tried to absorb the punch so it doesn't hurt that much, it felt like you absorbed none of it at all as it hurt so much to the point that you also fell to the ground too. Zoldic then laughed at you taking the punch and how you thought you could actually handle a punch from him. Kento is just stanfijg there, frozen in place and doesn't know what to do. Zoldic then, out of pity as he knows that a weakling like Kento won't be able to take one of his punches from how scared he is. Also, after he sees how much you got hurt when you are obviously stronger than Kento as he is a bit smaller and more frail than you are. So he will be generous this time, but the next time any of them can think that they can surpass him, even on a stupid score test like this one, they will get more than just a punch. Zoldic and Delta walk away As Kento unfreezes from fear And checks on you.
