"What are we going to do Saif!!" Kento asks desperately as he is panicking at this point as the situation looks hopeless. You take a deep breath then tell Kento to let go of you. He does as you tell him then you start to violently vibrate your whole body. You scream out to Kento "When I give you the signal, jump as high as you can in a ball shape!!" Kento is confused by your plan but affirms. After that you then concentrate all the vibrations you just produced into your right arm and scream to Kento to "Now!!!" As Kento jumps in a ball shape, you move yours to be right behind him and you put your palm on his lower back and while pushing him forward, release your vibrations on him, thrusting him far enough that he falls far, but close enough from an exam hall. (An imaginary arrow appears to the direction of where Kento will be thrusted. It is produced by Saif's imagination but manifested due to the connections between him and Kento, so they both at the moment see it, but no one else could.)
While being pushed, a grunts escapes Kento's mouth as he didn't expect to be moved so fast. You feel that your right arm has become slightly numb from how harsh that vibration release was. Right before the huge amount of ropes that were coming swallowed you, the only word that escaped your mouth was "Shit." Your last thought right before being fully taken away was how you wanted to throw Kento a bit closer to the halls, but now he might also be swallowed up by the ropes too.
When Kento finally gets back up, he finds that no ropes are approaching him and it even looks like they are avoiding him. Then he looks back to check on you he sees that you are now also stuck in the web of ropes being held by them from every limb and body part. He screams your name out but you scream back to him, telling him that he should go in the exam hall now before the ropes get to him too. Reluctant as he is, he still doesn't want to go inside and wants to help you in anyway, but not to risk the ropes catching him as he doesn't know for how long they will be friendly for and making a bigger mess of this situation as if he is also gets stuck, Saif's sacrifice would be for nothing. Reluctant as he is, he runs inside one of the halls.
You on the other hand are relieved that he got inside a hall before the ropes got to him and now you try to figure out what to do now in your situation. You dangle there, not knowing what to do now. You are against Ropests ropes, there is no escape, so you feel like giving up now would be understandable. Right? After that thought, you slowly start to vibrate and think to yourself that this shouldn't be the end, that you want to enter one of the halls, no, you need to enter one. At that moment, you start to vibrate like you never vibrated before in your whole life. As you vibrate, you can feel your body screaming out to you to stop as this is too much on it. You ignore what your body says and vibrate even more. The more you vibrate, the more the ropes wrap tighter around you, causing pain to your skin, but you ignore it and continues vibrating even more. Consequently, by your vibrations, it vibrated to ropes too and made them really loose to the point that the people near you were able to escape out the ropes that were holding them, and you slipped out of the ones holding you.
From what the people around you saw how hard you fought to escape, it motivated them all to fight harder to escape and be free of the ropes to reach the halls, so the more and more people started to get free. The ropes were in less numbers in front than in the back as many weren't able to get that deep, so when the people in the back saw your perseverance and everyone else's perseverance, they were moved to fight even harder themselves to reach the halls.
After you get released you are panting because of how exhausting what you just did was. Your body is really numb now, but you manage to get on your feet. As you are now seen as a threat, more ropes focus on you and catch you then pulling you away, trying to get you as far as possible so that you can't make more people escape. You think it's now over, until someone uses their power to cut the ropes pulling you away. You look in front of you to see the people that you accidentally got of by your vibrations run towards you and you hear one of them say 'Come on everyone, we can't lose him! Without him, we can't reach the halls! Plus, we owe him for saving us, so let us continue fighting!!' You hear them scream a battle cry as they reach you and carry you to get back on your feet and together, all of you start running toward the halls as fast as you all could, dodge and fighting against the ropes until you all enter a hall successfully and the ropes stopped following you. All of you scream out in joy as you finally reached an exam hall. Everyone starts thanking you for saving them and how they wouldn't be here without you. You just stay laying on the ground, still catching your breath as you give them a thumbs up. You thank all of them for not leaving him behind and taking you with them. They look at you and tell you that it was no problem.
As you get after taking a good break, you take a look inside the hall. From what you can see, it's a classroom of some sort that is found in private colleges, but more fancy in a sense, more like an auditorium with a lot of seats to the point that this hall alone can feat 1000 people, and out side, it looked like there was hundreds of halls deep inside, but you couldn't see well deep as the as your eyes couldn't adjust to the lower light intensity deep inside. Suddenly you hear a voice that says "Everyone should take a seat and start the IQ exam and general knowledge exam present on all seats. Any cheating will not be tolerated and will cause immediate disqualification."
You then walk to an empty side of the auditorium to be able to sit alone so that you can't be accidentally accused of cheating. You look at the exam paper and find that it's a simple IQ test. You still can't properly think straight because of how tired you are but none of the questions are really that difficult, but confuses you that it shouldn't be really considered also as a general knowledge exam as all of the questions look like IQ questions, but you don't put too much thought into it as Grandviville are the ones that made this test after all. After finishing, you get up and it seems that you are the first one done with the exam.
You get up and see that there is a supervisor sitting at the bottom of the auditorium. You walk up to her and hand your paper to her. "Oh, so we have a quick one here. It seems you studied hard for this exam." She says. You tell her that you didn't really study as you didn't think it would be that bad, plus, the exam came off as pretty straight forward anyway. She was surprised by your words, but then says how more and more impressive people come and take this exam each year it shall seem. She hopes for you the best, but she looks at your paper and tells you that you forgot to write your global ID at the top. As you didn't see that, you apologise and take the paper back and write your global ID. She laughs and says how you finished so quickly such a difficult exam, but forgot something as simple as writing your name. You laugh in return and hand her your paper. She takes it and tells you that the practical exam is in the next room and points to its door. You think her, but before you leave, she congratulates you on reaching it this far anyway with what happened with Zoldic and Ropest. You look back to her and thank her again with new found determination in your heart.
As you are walking to the door, you remember how if someone like Kento had to try to get through those ropes without a super power that is offensive like yours a talented person like him with his power would have never been able to get through to the halls. You feel bad to how unfair this all is and how many other very impressive people that weren't able to reach the halls as their powers wouldn't have allowed them to.
After you finish that thought, the door to the auditorium blasts out with people and the overseer in a calm voice says "Ah, so other were able to get through after all. So this still would be a pain in the ass. Please, run before the crowd swallows you." You feel creeped out at how calm she is, but you figure she is just trying to stay calm to not crash out from how frustrating this job is.
