Saif is now at the motel and in the room he sees his mum who was waiting patiently for him. When he walks in and says hello in a down voice, she jump to him and hugs him and asks if he is okay from the attack done by Ropest. He tells her that he is fine and there is notthing to worry about. He asks her why she looked at the entrance disaster when he told her not to watch it to not worry about him. She says how she watched it after he called her when everything was done and actually just finished watching it was about to call him to check on him. She then tells him how cool she saw him single handedly able to make so many people fight to be able to get into the exam hall. You don't know what she is talking about as you remember the only people that were able to reach the exam hall at first were just him and a couple of other people no more than 30 or something. She then shows you a video of what was live helicopter news footage of the whole event.
You watch how when you vibrated and free those people and were able to reach the halls, it motivated everyone else to keep fighting and push through the ropes, and it overwhelmed Ropest so much to the point that backed down so he doesn't hurt anyone accidentally which lead to almost everyone to be able to participate in the exam. Saif is in shock at this revelation as then remembers that so many people entered his exam hall at the end when he finished and was about to hand in his paper, but you didn't think it was because of you and the others. You still say that they fought to win themselves, not because of him, but jokingly says he will take the credit for it if no one will. His mum congratulates him for what he has done and then asks him about how he did in the exam. Then a gloomy look goes back on his face and his mum is now really worried and asks what happened.
He reluctantly says that he did good on the IQ test but he didn't see the general questions part and he also got a D- in his practical exam. His mum tries to cheer him up by telling him that he did his best and that's all that matters after all. He thanks her but tells her he still needs time to digest it all as deep down he knows he didn't give it his all, but he also says how dumb it was to think that he would be able to get in without studying that much beforehand and to not practicing his power. His mum gives him the 'I told you so' look and gives him a lecture about how he now needs to be more responsible now that he saw for himself that things like this aren't as easy as he imagined. He tells her that she is right and thanks her for the advice and promises to apply it next time.
She sighs and asks him what was he thinking anyway to make him so sure he could pass on his own like that. He then gets an even sourer look and tells her how he wasn't really sure if he will enter the A class, but he thought that how would at least enter the E class at bair minimum and that he would have climbed his way to A class if it got down to it. But now he realised that there is a whole world of information that he didn't know existed and that's why he underestimated the exam. His mum tells him how it's fine and he should just be happy that he learned from his mistakes. "Thanks mum" he says. "You are my son, of course I will always cheer you up." She says.
Then his mum asks him about the person that he was carrying on his back and was able to get him in one of the halls. He then tells her about how he met Kento and everything that has happened up to this point. His mum is in absolute shock at hearing that someone was able to get an S+. She tells Saif about how an S+ is impossible and how the maximum us none 11 families people can only get an A+. Saif still stands his ground and tells her that it's true, his mum challenges him and tells you to call him then and tells you to ask him to give proof by asking Grandviville a copy of his practice score sent to him. He calls Kento.
Cutting back to Kento and his father and Kento asks his father why he listened to Zoldic and stopped so many from trying out the exam. His father hesitates but then says that he believes that too many people are always trying out for the exam for no reason at all except because it's free. Giving them a reality check with their resolve was always needed. Kento then frustratedly says how unfair that is and how he couldn't have known who has and doesn't have resolve. Plus, if they didn't have offensive powers like him they wouldn't be able to reach the halls too. His father then points out how he got on someone's back and was able to reach the halls because of Kento's and his corporation. So all they needed to do is try hard like he did.
Frustrated, Kento was about to reply back but then his father stops him and says how anyway almost everyone was able to reach the halls because of that friend of yours. Confused, Kento asks what his father meant. His father tells him how when people saw how much he and everyone he accidentally freed were fighting to reach the halls, they fought harder too. Which led them to overwhelm me enough to the point that I had to let them throw to not hurt them. Kento is shocked while his father shows him the news footage. Kento has a bit of a smile while saying how the energy barrier could have still kept everyone safe even if he went a little rough on them, after all they save people every year from getting crushed by each other, and his father is a professional at using his power. So they both know how Ropest only used it as an excuse to stop holding so many people from the exam. He might have wanted to teach everyone a quick lesson after seeing how they really did have strong resolve. And has shown that not everyone was really trying because they wanted to enter Grandviville as in the footage before Saif did his stunt, a lot of people started to leave, giving up before even trying.
