It's been three whole hours since Rowan left this house. Yes, I was counting because the minute he walked away, my whole body was tense.
I had willingly sent someone with no experience to the lion's den and now, my anxiety was spiking through the roof.
The door burst open and I jumped to my feet immediately, all intents came to a halt when I saw Rudolf stroll in like I hadn't been looking for him this whole time.
"Where the hell have you been?" I barked,
The smile on his face faded once he got a good look at my face,
"Alpha,"
"Well?"
His eyes flared with anger, "your precious alpha knocked me out and locked me in the room you kept him prisoner," he spat.
I stared at him for a few minutes before I burst into laughter, his scowl deepened.
