The night had once again come, and the streets were like their usual way and were full of chatters.
Celestra dressed herself in a white long dress with complicated sewing on its puff sleeves and skirt, and once again she wore her hair out in a messy way.
Going over to the desk located on the far left side of her room and again bending down to grab mess through the contexts of the drawer only to pull out a nice necklace from within the drawer.
Looking at it, she smiled, placing it around her neck. Seeing this familiar necklace was something that brought her joy. That was because she was given this necklace by a friend she once had within the Calyndor clan, Blairda.
Blairda was much older than Celestra, but she still had a gentle heart, which was rare to find within the clan that valued strength; unfortunately for her, she had once gone out and not returned, presumed to be killed by a vampire from an enemy clan.
Sigh Celestra couldn't herself and felt a wave of sadness come over her thinking about her one and only dear friend. The condition of the war was raging on; some Celestra knew little about it; for her, she didn't even know the main purpose of the war, just that it was against the 4 major clans, and the only thing that had kept most people safe were the 8 great destructions keeping each other in check, making the war enter a standstill.
Looking into the mirror, Celestra pushed these sad thoughts away and gave herself a small smile content with her appearance to go out.
She closed the drawer and strudel over to the door and slid it open, giving a deep breath like she usually did, and walked out the door, sliding it back closed after herself.
She slowly strolled down the hallway, happy to see the heavy pressure that plagued the hallway from her mother's aura the night before.
Walking through the home that was completely silent, giving her the sign that neither her mother nor sister were in and had probably already left to do something.
Finally reaching the entrance of the quiet home, she pushed the doors to the large home, excited to hear the usual bustling that was outside in the clan's wall. But as the door opened, Celestra looked outside and peaked left and right, but rather abnormally, no one was around the main home of the chief leader.
"Huh…" Celestra spoke out a bit, usually greeted with the sight of a low-ranking keeper of the streets.
She decided to turn left, going away from the direction of the courtyard, and headed towards the school that was developed for the super-young vampires. But the more she walked, the more the silence surprised her. Not a single person seemed to be inside the small shops or distribution center that gave equal amounts of goods to everyone.
Walking past the school to see even the children not in or out completely shocked her, making her worry grow into panic. "Where? … Where did everyone go?" She said, calling out, expecting to see someone in a panic, her slow walking growing into a small jog, making herself around the street until finally she decided to go towards the courtyard.
She passed the gates that were closed like usual and jogged past them to the courtyard, and as she approached, she saw many people gathered, all very silent and quiet. Seeing this sight, Celestra let out a sigh of relief.
Her jog finally slowed into a fast walk as she got closer, seeing almost all the faces she was pretty familiar with, some with faces filled with despair, others looked sad, while the older and stronger clan members wore faces of anger. Celestra was lost now making her way to the crowd and pushed some people going closer and looking towards the front of the courtyard.
Bora and Isiah Calyndor both stood in the front, speaking to the members who were all crowded around. "Eh, what's going on?"
She asked the vampire noble who was next to her, Ma'am Ariella. The woman who was fanning herself with a hand-held fan turned to look at Celestra lifting her gorgeous black feathers hat that revealed her long curly blonde hair. "Oh, lady Celestra! Have you not heard?" Celestra shook her head at Ma'am Ariella's words.
Ma'am Ariella spoke up again, speaking to Celestra. "The war has taken a shift." She said her voice a bit more pained.
What? Celestra's eyes widened sightly, not expecting the words that came out of Ma'am Ariella.
And just as Celestra went to ask more, Celestra heard the voice of her mother speak loudly over the crowd of people as she stood at the front.
