[Head office]
"The reupdated files for the upcoming confectionary designs have been kept at your office. While most of the factories and administrative offices have begun the winding down procedure, the fourth quarter data are also on the go." Gabriel Wallace continued to report while being inside the elevator.
"Eh. Tell them to also make a joint data of all four quarters for the comparison. Since the board meeting isn't right now, send the original only to me for now," Orion stated. He raised his wrist and checked the time before entering the private elevator.
The company he ran, "Lilt," was the direct descendant of the "Lennox International Corporation," while any other company and chains ran under Lilt. The top floor was entirely the director's office and the founder, Orion Lennox.
Walking through the neatly kept parqueted floor, they entered the main office room. The director's desk was near the window, and his table was luxurious. With a wide-screen monitor and a place for other electronic gadgets, there were plenty of files next to his table, and at a distance was Gabriel's table.
"Should I extend the meeting for the pre-summer summits?" Gabriel asked while continuing to list down the upcoming schedules.
"When is it this year?" Orion raised his brow while adjusting the glasses on his nose bridge.
"On the 31st. Just two days after your engagement," he stated.
"No need then."
Giving a nod, Gabriel continued his task. Since the holiday seasons were near and many workers would be on vacation, it was very crucial to have a good task distribution.
Orion continued to flip through the pages when suddenly his phone vibrated. 'Eh? Who could have sent him a message on his phone?' He placed the paper down and turned on his phone.
Hello, would you like to have homemade bento?
To his surprise, it was a message from Helle. After the argument from the day before, things had gotten a tad bit cumbersome, but it was bold of her to text first.
Sure. Call me once you reach here.
He texted back with a small emote of a frog drinking. Immediately he received a response from a happy bunny.
"Sir, did something happen?" Gabriel questioned. Surprise would have been an understatement to him since he had never once seen his boss smile while at work.
"Nothing much." He shrugged and got back to work.

"Miss, are you sure about this? I could help." The chef implored, but Helle tied the apron around her waist and replied, "It's okay. I'll be using it just for a while. You should do some groceries instead," she dismissed the chef.
Locking the door, she took out the camera set that she had been playing with since the early morning and placed the tripod stands.
"3...2...1!" She first took a video of hands cutting the vegetables and making stir-fry vegetables. It took her a while to get used to the camera.
'Uh, it's not as easy as it seems on the phone,' she whined while making the curry in a separate saucepan.
After the classes with Donovan, Helle didn't have much to do during the day, and watching the cooking videos made her more interested in opening such an account for herself. After all, she already had a camera.
But most of all, it was the incident from the day before that brought sense to her mind. Only the present mattered. The feelings she had would be of less value in the future and would only become a ball of regret. Thus, even if she failed, she had to try!
After about two hours, the bento box had been stacked and filled with freshly made lunch. At the bottom tier, there was rice, boiled broccoli, and tonkatsu. At the upper tier, she creatively made star-shaped carrots, some stir-fried veggies, and a rolled egg. In a small container, she poured the curry. Using a 'Forget me, not flower-printed' cloth, she tied a knot and went upstairs.
The videos were of good quality; now all she had to do was 'Edit'. But before that, she touched up her make-up and wore a blue dress and jeans underneath. With a tote to her side, Helle headed downstairs and called Martha to prepare a car for her.
The drive to the headquarters took about half an hour. It was a different route compared to places she had been before.
I am about to arrive
She texted to Orion. 'Phew.' Helle took a deep breath in. It was intimidating to text Orion first after all; what if he didn't return her text? What if he found her annoying? Countless things could go wrong.
I'll send Gabriel then
He replied in about a minute.
"We are here, Miss," the chauffer informed.
"Eh," she nodded and got out of her seat. The building was humongous and had an aesthetic appeal. Since it was at the heart of the downtown, plenty of people walked past. She stood in front of the building, waiting for the man named Gabriel.
"Excuse me," someone placed a hand on her shoulder, which made her lightly shiver and turn around.
"Yes?" she asked.
"Are you Miss Helle Chevalier?" Up close, the man was in his late twenties and wearing a suit.
"Yes, and you are?" She clutched her bag tightly.
"I am Gabriel. Mr. Lennox had informed me to come and get you."
"Oh, let's go then. Also, nice to meet you," she greeted, and the man returned those words. Rather than the front door, Gabriel took her to the back of the company, and although she was skeptical, the pathway led to a private elevator, and Gabriel pressed to the topmost floor.
"This way, please." He showed her inside the private work area where Orion was seated on his desk, looking at his monitor.
"Knock Knock," Helle knocked on the door.
"Come in," Orion answered. His eyes are still on the computer.
Helle was in awe. The office room was more spacious than her room!
"I'm here to bring your bento," Helle said with a smile. Taking slow steps towards his table.
Orion cleared his desk and even turned off his computer. The bento was placed at the desk, and Orion carefully untied the cloth. taking off the lid, a delicious lunch with harmonious colors showcased.
