Chapter 12 - A Meeting of Deception

Kim Tae-Hyun arrived at the small, luxurious hotel, Hotel Belle Époque, and made his way to the lobby. He ordered a chilled water and sat down in one of the plush armchairs, checking his watch for what felt like the hundredth time.

Ten minutes passed, and Tae-Hyun muttered to himself, forcing a smile onto his face. "Ten minutes late, how considerate of her."

Just then, Won Ji-Na walked into the lobby, looking every inch the confident and poised businesswoman. She stretched out her hand for a handshake, and Tae-Hyun stood up, his eyes narrowing slightly as he took in her appearance.

"Mr. Kim Tae-Hyun, it's a pleasure to finally meet you in person," Won Ji-Na said, her voice sweet and melodious.

Tae-Hyun's smile was polite, but his eyes remained cold. "The pleasure is all mine, Miss Won Ji-Na. Please, let's sit down and discuss the details of our potential collaboration."

As they sat down, Won Ji-Na pulled out a contract from her bag and began to explain the terms and conditions. Tae-Hyun listened intently, his eyes scanning the document with a keen eye for detail.

Just as they were getting to the meat of the discussion, Tae-Hyun's phone rang, shrill and insistent. "I apologize, but I need to take this call," he said, standing up and excusing himself.

As Tae-Hyun walked away, Won Ji-Na's eyes gleamed with a calculating light. She reached into her purse and pulled out a small packet of powdered substance. It was a sleep drug, one that would ensure Tae-Hyun remained unconscious for several hours.

Won Ji-Na's thoughts flashed back to her teenage years, when she had first met Kim Tae-Hyun at a social gathering. She had been immediately smitten with his arrogance and confidence, but Tae-Hyun had never even noticed her.

As the years went by, Won Ji-Na's crush on Tae-Hyun only grew stronger. She had often found herself wondering what it would be like to be with him, to be the one person who could see beyond his arrogant facade.

But Tae-Hyun had never given her the time of day, treating her with the same disdain he reserved for everyone else. Won Ji-Na's eyes narrowed, her heart burning with a desire to get him all to herself.

She would make Tae-Hyun pay for ignoring her, for treating her like she was invisible. And she would start by making him sleep, by rendering him helpless and vulnerable.

Won Ji-Na's smile was sweet and innocent, but her eyes gleamed with a sinister light. She was a woman on a mission, and nothing would stop her from achieving her goal.

As Won Ji-Na poured the powdered substance into Kim Tae-Hyun's glass of water, she smiled to herself, thinking that her plan was already in motion. The substance was a powerful sleeping drug, one that would render Tae-Hyun helpless and unconscious.

When Tae-Hyun returned to the table, he sat down and picked up his glass of water, taking a sip without noticing anything out of the ordinary. "I apologize for the delay, please continue, Ms. Won," he said, his eyes fixed on her.

Won Ji-Na smiled and continued explaining the details of the contract, but Tae-Hyun's eyes began to glaze over, and he started to feel dizzy. Five minutes passed, and Tae-Hyun's head began to spin, his vision blurring.

Won Ji-Na smiled, knowing that the drug was taking effect. She helped Tae-Hyun to his feet, and he staggered, his legs feeling like jelly. "Let's get you to your room, Mr. Kim," Won Ji-Na said, her voice sweet and concerned.

Tae-Hyun mumbled something incoherent, and Won Ji-Na smiled, knowing that she had him right where she wanted him. She helped him to the room she had booked earlier, and as they entered, she locked the door behind them.

Won Ji-Na helped Tae-Hyun to the bed, and he collapsed onto it, his eyes closing as he fell into a deep sleep. She smiled, knowing that she had finally gotten her revenge.

As she began to undress Tae-Hyun, he stirred, his eyes fluttering open. Won Ji-Na smiled, knowing that the drug would keep him under her control. She leaned in, her lips brushing against his, and Tae-Hyun's eyes closed, his body relaxing into her touch.

But as Won Ji-Na's hands began to roam over Tae-Hyun's body, he suddenly stirred, his eyes snapping open. "No," he muttered, his voice slurred. "Don't...unzip...my...trousers."

Won Ji-Na smiled, knowing that Tae-Hyun's discipline was still intact, even under the influence of the drug. She leaned in, her lips brushing against his ear. "Don't worry, Mr. Kim," she whispered. "I'll take care of you."

THE NEXT MORNING

Kim Tae-Hyun woke up with a start, his eyes scanning the unfamiliar room in confusion. He sat up, rubbing his temples, trying to remember how he had ended up there. As he looked around, his eyes landed on a woman's red bra lying on the floor, and his heart sank.

Suddenly, the bathroom door opened, and Won Ji-Na emerged, wrapped in a towel. She smiled sweetly at Tae-Hyun, who quickly covered his eyes, feeling a wave of embarrassment wash over him.

"What are you doing?" Tae-Hyun demanded, his voice rough with sleep.

"Am I supposed to ask you if this is the contract you want? Forcing me to sleep with you?" Won Ji-Na smirked, her eyes glinting with amusement.

"Me? Sleeping with you? When? Why am I here, for goodness' sake? And where are my clothes?" Tae-Hyun demanded, his anger rising.

Won Ji-Na smiled, seemingly enjoying Tae-Hyun's discomfort. "Let me get your clothes for you," she said, disappearing into the dressing room.

As she emerged with Tae-Hyun's clothes, he quickly got dressed, his mind racing with questions. What had happened the night before? Had he really slept with Won Ji-Na? And why was she acting so smug and self-satisfied?

Won Ji-Na's plan was now perfect. Her father, Shin Ha-Rim, had discussed with Kim Ha-Joon that they would become in-laws, and their businesses would grow higher. Kim Ha-Joon had wished that Kim Tae-Hyun would fall for Won Ji-Na when he mentioned the contract, but Won Ji-Na knew that Tae-Hyun had never looked her way, so she believed it was for the best to make him believe he had slept with her.

Although her plan had failed in the sense that Tae-Hyun had refused to have sex with her, Won Ji-Na was confident that she could still achieve her goal. She would make Tae-Hyun believe that they had slept together, and then she would use that to her advantage.

As Tae-Hyun finished getting dressed, Won Ji-Na smiled sweetly at him. "Shall we go down to the lobby and discuss the contract?" she asked, her eyes glinting with amusement.

Tae-Hyun's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with suspicion. What was Won Ji-Na's game? And how was he going to get out of this situation?
