Kim Tae-Hyun didn't respond to Won Ji-Na's question. Instead, he hastily grabbed his belongings and rushed out of the hotel room, leaving Won Ji-Na looking surprised and annoyed.
Tae-Hyun quickly made his way to the parking lot, where his chauffeur was waiting for him. He got into the car and instructed the driver to take him to his company.
As they drove, Tae-Hyun's mind was racing with thoughts of the previous night's events. He couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off, that Won Ji-Na had somehow manipulated him.
When they arrived at the company, Tae-Hyun got out of the car and strode into the building, ignoring the greetings of his employees. He walked past Ok Ja-Yeon, his secretary, without acknowledging her.
"Good morning, sir!" Ja-Yeon called out, but Tae-Hyun didn't respond.
He entered his office and slammed the door shut behind him. "No one should disturb me," he commanded, his voice firm and authoritative.
Ja-Yeon, who had followed him into the office, nodded and replied, "Yes, sir," before leaving.
Tae-Hyun sat down at his desk, his eyes scanning the room as if searching for something. He was still trying to process the events of the previous night, and he couldn't shake off the feeling that he had been played.
As he sat there, trying to gather his thoughts, Tae-Hyun's phone rang, shrill and insistent. He hesitated for a moment before answering it, his voice firm and commanding. "Kim Tae-Hyun speaking."

2 WEEKS LATER
Kim Tae Hyun's eyes narrowed slightly as he gazed at the clock on the wall, the soft glow of the numbers illuminating the quiet office. It was 6:55 PM, and he was wrapping up the last of his tasks for the day. He let out a soft sigh, feeling a sense of relief wash over him as he closed his laptop and began to gather his belongings.
Just as he was about to stand up and head out the door, his phone rang, shrill in the silence of the office. Kim Tae Hyun's heart skipped a beat as he hesitated for a moment before answering the call.
"Hello?" he said, his voice cautious.
The voice on the other end was unmistakable - it was his grandfather, Kim Ha Joon.
"Is this the best you can do?" his grandfather's voice was stern, the words tumbling out in a rush without giving Kim Tae Hyun a chance to respond or even understand what the question was about.
Kim Tae Hyun's eyes widened slightly as he felt a surge of confusion and trepidation. What was his grandfather talking about? What had he done wrong?
But before he could ask any questions or defend himself, his grandfather's voice cut through the line again.
"I want you to be here immediately," he barked, the words brooking no argument.
Kim Tae Hyun's heart sank as he felt a sense of dread wash over him. What had he done to incur his grandfather's wrath? And what did he mean by "here"? Where was he supposed to go?
But he knew better than to ask questions or hesitate. When his grandfather summoned him, he had to obey.
"Yes, grandfather," Kim Tae Hyun said, his voice firm and respectful, despite the turmoil brewing inside him.
"I'll be right there," he added, already mentally preparing himself for the unknown confrontation that lay ahead.
With a sense of foreboding, Kim Tae Hyun ended the call and quickly gathered his belongings, his mind racing with questions and worries as he headed out the door, going down to the lobby, he went straight to the parking lot and drove off to the Kim Estate.
As Kim Tae Hyun arrived at the Kim Estate, he couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that had been growing inside him since he received the call from his grandfather. He had no idea why he was being summoned, but he knew it couldn't be good.
As he stepped out of the car and onto the driveway, the maids greeted him with a bow. "Good evening, young master," they chimed in unison.
Kim Tae Hyun nodded curtly, his eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of his grandfather. "Where is my grandfather?" he asked, his voice firm but polite.
The maids exchanged a nervous glance before one of them spoke up. "He's in his study, young master. He's been...waiting for you."
Kim Tae Hyun's heart sank as he made his way to the study. What had he done to warrant such urgency?
As he entered the study, he was met with a stern expression from his grandfather. "Good evening, sir," Kim Tae Hyun said, bowing slightly.
But before he could even straighten up, his grandfather's face turned red with rage. "I thought you would sign a simple contract, but instead, you slept with the girl!" he thundered, slamming his fist on the desk.
Kim Tae Hyun's eyes widened in shock as he took a step back. "Sir, what are you saying?" he asked, his voice shaking slightly.
His grandfather's response was to throw a set of pictures at him. Kim Tae Hyun caught them instinctively, his eyes scanning the contents in horror.
The pictures showed him and Shim Ji-Na in a hotel room, their bodies entwined in a compromising position. Kim Tae Hyun's face burned with shame and anger as he looked up at his grandfather.
"Who took these pictures?" he muttered to himself, his mind racing with the implications.
