The witch rose and stepped toward Sebastian, her hand reaching out to stroke his damp cheeks.
Sebastian clenched his jaw and turned his head away, fully disgusted by her touch.
The witch wasn't offended but burst into a light chuckle.
She flicked her fingers into the air and said lightly, "The next step is going to be harder for you."
Her obsidian eyes bored into the raven and instructed calmly. "I will need the items, and I will begin."
Sebastian pondered hazily what she's talking about. But he can't focus on her strange words as he was in so much agony; his battered back felt like it was on fire.
He could feel slick blood flowing down, and some other parts were sticking to the skin.
He licked his dry, chapped lips before he tried to contain his own pained moan. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to as he felt a sharp jolt coursing through his left shoulder.
