As soon as Fujima reached his apartment, Mr. Takamura was again standing by his front door.
"With all due respect sir. You should really stop appearing in my front door like a psycho Mr. Takamura. What if I'm with Ken. It'll be weird to see his homeroom teacher standing in front of there. "
"That's a good point. But I know everything you did of course. I'm your watcher after all."
"AAA those same lines." Fujima thought to himself.
"We might need to discuss something. May I come in?"
"You're already here so it would be rude to just send you home like this."
Fujima and Mr. Takamura once again went inside the apartment. And just like last time, Fujima prepared tea for the both of them. He guessed that his watcher might again discuss some important things with him.
After preparing the tea, they both sat by the dining table across from each other. But unlike last time, no moment was wasted in silence as Fujima asked immediately what brings Mr. Takamura in his apartment.
"What business do we have now? Do I have a mission?"
"Yeah."
"Who is it this time?"
"A corrupt politician. You can kill him immediately but I have other plans. Would you entertain this old man?" Said Mr. Takamura who looked all serious all of a sudden.
"What's your plan?"
"We should first expose everything he's done. All of his schemes."
"I was thinking about the same thing Mr. Takamura"
They both smiled as they devised a plan to expose the wrongdoings of this good politician on the outside but a rotten one on the inside.
"It's my first time having a watcher like you. Most of them would just order me to kill my target. There was no need for me to deliver justice by going out of my way. Just kill and we're done."
"I knew you always go out of your way before killing someone. So I also went out of my way and asked the higher ups to be your watcher."
"Really? Why?"
"I won't go in on the details but you can just say that I found my younger self in you."
With the help of the organization's connections, the plan was already set in motion the very next morning. The target is Hiroshi Masato, a 38 years old politician who maintains a clean image to the public. But the organization and their client knew the rotten side of this man.
The plan was to infiltrate and hack Hiroshi's communication devices and gather evidence of his illicit actions.
Fujima is not only skilled as an assassin but is also a techie guy. He's been hacking devices and accounts ever since he was 12 years old. This isn't the first mission that would require his hacking skills so he wouldn't have any problem doing so.
After a normal day at school, Fujima went home early even though Ken asked him to go play some baseball. He had lots of stuff to do after all. Hacking might be second nature to Fujima but it still takes a lot of time.
Fujima turned off the lights in his apartment and opened up his laptop. He works well in the dark, not that he really knows why. According to the information given to him by the whistleblower planted by Mr. Takamura in Hiroshi Masato's team, Fujima hacked through the politician's Cellphone and laptop as they were tipped that these devices may contain all of his schemes.
After a few hours of working, he found evidence that can expose this rotten politician such as Bribery, misuse of public funds, vote buying, land grabbing, and tax evasion.
Hiroshi has a public speech in a theater a week from now which is a perfect place to eliminate this pest to society. But before that, Fujima intends to use threats that would make this politician suffer in fear of being killed by the phantom rose.
The very next day, Fujima skipped morning classes to act as a mailman. Fujima dressed with a cap and a vest that local mailmans use to act as one. With him was a box with flowers but on top of it was a letter that said "I hope you look forward to the day you pay for your sins".
As he walked on his way to the politician's home, he felt the cold morning breeze through his face. For a second he wondered what his life would be like if he was never the phantom rose. Would he be in class right now dozing off? Will he be studying for a career path that he wants to pursue? But his wishful thinking was cut off as soon as he saw Hiroshi's mansion. There were large gates and high brick walls. The view of the white ethereal mansion peeking out of the walls was enormous. On the gates were two guards armed with a rifle.
Fujima rang the doorbell and the two guards approached him.
"What is your business here today?" Asked one of the guards
"I'm here for a delivery for Mr. Hiroshi Masato."
"Open the box first." Said one of the guards.
"Sure!"
The guards' eyes were opened wide as they saw the signature of the envelope which contained the letter.
"Oh I guess it's safe then. We'll handle it from here kid."
"Thank you so much." Said Fujima as he walked away.
Fujima knew that the guards would easily understand the meaning of that signature. After all, it was a signature of Hiroshi's main accomplice in all of his schemes. But little did they know that Fujima already disposed of him last night and copied his signature. In about an hour from now, Hiroshi will know how his accomplice is already dead and was disposed of by the phantom rose.
A few minutes after Fujima left the compound, Hiroshi received the "gift". He opened it with delight and read the letter. With his eyes opened wide from the extreme shock and fear, Hiroshi panicked and shouted "Bring me more guards! I want a guard with me 24/7 and in all places that I would go. Do everything in your power to track down the phantom rose and dispose of him before he gets to me!"
