Jay glanced around his luxurious suite one last time before heading to the door, feeling the excitement buzzing within him. Today, he was off to Italy—his real home. After all this time, it was finally happening. With a quick call to the hotel front desk, he arranged for a driver to accompany him to the airport. This way, he could leave his Aston Martin at the airport and have the driver bring it back.
As he reached the lobby, Jay spotted Amelia and Celia waiting by the entrance, both looking stylish and a little on edge. They exchanged quick smiles before Amelia spoke up, sounding curious. "So, Jay, how are we getting tickets for this flight?"
Jay chuckled, enjoying the surprise he knew was coming. "Tickets? We don't need any tickets. We're flying on a private plane."
Amelia and Celia exchanged wide-eyed glances, momentarily stunned, but they quickly played along, trusting him with an air of excitement and curiosity. Just as they were processing this new twist, a sleek black car pulled up near the entrance, and out stepped Jay's butler—a tall, distinguished man with silver hair and a warm, familiar expression. The man had been more than a butler to Jay; growing up, he'd been like family, a trusted figure who'd been by Jay's side through everything, his guide, confidant, and friend.
"Mr. Jay," the butler greeted warmly, offering a slight bow and an affectionate smile. "It's good to see you again."
Jay's face softened as he returned the greeting with genuine warmth. "Likewise, Thomas. Thanks for arranging everything."
After introductions with Amelia and Celia, they boarded the plane, with Thomas attending to them with the utmost care. Jay felt a strange mix of emotions—relief, nostalgia, and excitement—as the plane took off and they settled into the luxurious interior.
Amelia, seated across from Jay, seemed a bit hesitant, stealing glances at him every so often. Jay noticed her curiosity and decided to ease her discomfort. "Is there something you want to ask?"
She hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "You've hinted at a lot of things, but we still don't really know much about you, Jay. You're a mystery."
Jay leaned back with a small smile, figuring it was time to tell them the truth, or at least part of it. "Alright. I guess it's only fair," he began. "I'm from a big family, one of the wealthiest in Europe, actually. My grandfather set me a challenge—to build something on my own, to understand the value of hard work and independence. That's why I've kept a low profile all this time. But now… I've passed his test. It's time to go back to my family."
Amelia and Celia listened, both processing this revelation with a mix of shock and fascination. Amelia looked particularly taken aback but intrigued, as if finally understanding the enigmatic sides of Jay she'd glimpsed but hadn't pieced together until now.
As they soared high above the clouds, a sudden notification appeared on Jay's phone screen, drawing his attention. It was a message from the system, marking the completion of the long-awaited update.
"System Update Completed: Due to host's recent accomplishments and status, rewards will now be allocated for any negative impacts caused by others on host. All weekly accumulated reviews will be rewarded every seven days."
Jay thought that now anything he does that make people thought negative of him will give him rewards . He was stunned by the system and was excited for the rewards he would get.
