So quick introduction, I tried to use the Homeworld Mod and summon Carrier Kapisi on open land to see its actual size out of curiosity

Took me 2 days straight to download it because of how big the memory needed but I finally downloaded the Homeworld Mod.

But the moment I install the mod and spawn it on my server, a massive lag happens to the server and soon it didn't take long for my VR to crash, along with my vision as I blacked out for some reason.

Lesson learned never spawn something outside what your VR can handle.

5 minutes later my point of view was still pitch black, and despite trying various ways to manually shut down the VR or get back to real world it was all in vain.

But the next thing that happened was a bit unexpected as the next moment I recovered my vision slowly, but I woke up in an excruciating manner, pain coursing through every inch of my body.

That is when I noticed for the first time since I played Gmod for 5 years.

I felt pain.

It felt weird, the game was supposed to not allow any pain. But maybe that's just my imagination.

Groaning, I struggled to push myself up from the unforgiving surface beneath me, my surroundings hazy and unfamiliar. Gazing around, I realized I was in a place entirely foreign to me.

I was in some kind of cave and I happened to be near a waterfall. I rose from the stone floor and approached the edge, and from the looks of it, the water below seemed unfathomably bottomless with how big the hole was.

It was a weird location I was at.

After a brief moment of contemplation, I decided to brush off the strangeness and focus on more pressing matters – like the pizza I had ordered in real world 

Now that I recover my control I should head back home.

With a casual shrug, I turned away from the waterfall and summoned the game's menu systems with a gesture.

Expecting to find the familiar exit button, I furrowed my brow in confusion when it was nowhere to be seen. 

Perhaps it was just my groggy state after waking up, but I couldn't shake the feeling of unease as I continued to search the system for any sign of an exit option.

As I continued to search fruitlessly for the exit button, panic began to claw its way into my chest, tightening its grip with each passing second. Every menu I opened, and every option I clicked, yielded no results. The sense of dread intensified as I realized I was trapped within the game, with no apparent means of escape

In a last-ditch effort, I accessed the admin section to report the issue only to discover that it, too, was mysteriously missing.

Defeated and disheartened, I pushed the system away in frustration and sank to the floor of the cave. A wave of helplessness washed over me as I contemplated the gravity of my situation, unsure of what to do next.

"Alert" 

the mechanical voice pierced the silence, causing me to jump in surprise. However, my tension eased as I recognized the source. "Oh, it's just you, Paddy," I sighed in relief.

Seeing the familiar gray box flying up in the skies with two mechanical arms, I was in relief seeing it.

Since the new AI development was getting more advanced some modders decided to make a real pod from Nier Automata which you can talk with and it will respond based on the information received.

Since it was cool having a floating pod following me around I decided to add the mod to my server to not make it a bit lonely playing by myself and calling it Paddy.

It does have a drawback like not having a great memory and usually forgetting after 20 conversations or so, but at least it's fun to be around Paddy.

Plus, it was handy for carrying some of my items in its inventory and save some of my important video and information about the outside world.

"Why are you here, Paddy, and..." I turned my gaze away from the floating pod to survey the cavernous surroundings. "Where are we?"

"Unknown: Currently Designation unit Paddy is Scanning the surrounding area and is not able to find anything about our location from the database"

"So in other words, you are useless.."

"Affirmative."

Huh.. not even tried to argue about it. Now that's new.

While I was standing around and scratching my in confusion I sensed a weight on my left arm and turned to find a massive blue crab gripping it with one of its claws.

"Huh... a crab," I muttered. I poked the crab's outer shell out of curiosity, and it instantly sliced into one of my arms, making my arms bleed.

I stood there for a few seconds, trying to process what had just happened. Soon, I felt something that should never exist in VR.

Pain. I was bleeding.

"I am bleeding? Is this... real blood?!" I exclaimed in disbelief, tears welling up in my eyes as I looked at the wound on my arm, watching a droplet of blood fall to the ground.

As I grab my arms in pain I notice the crab slowly approaching me with its claw pointing at me. In a tearful state, I grabbed my revolver and aimed it at the crab. With a loud bang, the crab fell dead with a hole right in the middle of it.

Trying to Ignore the pain I felt a moment ago, I put away my revolver and examined the creature that attacked me a moment ago. 

As I observed it closely I noticed it was twice the size of a normal crab and had a blue coloration on its outer shell.

It was a very strange crab. Almost like a monster that Pokemon would make. Not that I ever play one since I am not interest in the game.

Driven by curiosity, I prodded the creature with my revolver and couldn't help but wonder aloud, "What is this thing?" Before looking at Paddy seeking an answer "Got any clue pod?"

"Unknown"

 "Great..." But I won't blame him either for not knowing these things.

In all my years of playing Gmod, I had never encountered anything like this, not even in other games I was familiar with. Could have been one of the mods I recently installed but even then it was just not possible.

Suddenly, a cacophony of clicking steps reached my ears. 

"Alert: Inbound multiple enemy units,"

When I turned to locate the source of the noise, I was met with the surreal sight of an entire huge army of crabs marching toward me.

And it was not like the crab before, it was 3 time bigger then me.

In a panic situation, I pulled out my M16 put it in my hostler, and started gun Blazing not letting any closer.

*RATARATARATA*

"Padddy! Help me!" I cried, suddenly swarmed by an onslaught of attackers.

"Affirmative," the Pod replied. Suddenly, the pod pulled out its Gatling gun and began firing its minigun, laying waste to the enemy. I joined the pod in the effort, firing my rifle alongside it - but the enemy continued to advance. I swapped to my revolver and fired round after round, backing away from the advancing horde of crabs as Paddy followed behind, keeping up the offensive.

After being here for what felt like an eternity, fighting off wave after wave of hostile creatures, I realized... 

"I am lost!" I exclaimed loudly, and to my surprise, the cave seemed to respond to my words.

There was no map telling me where I was, no information regarding this place not even a dang info on what the hell the monster was before.

I was pretty much blind to what kind of place this was.

Even worse I can't even contact any of my friends, but for no sane reason, the Workshop where I can download various mods still works.

The more I try to make sense of it the more confused I become, and I am already sick of traveling this damn huge cave and want to go home already.

"Hey, Pod. Can't you be useful and point us to the exit? I mean, you've gotta be able to tap into the internet or use one of those radar or something, right?

"Negative. At the present moment, this Tactical Support Unit is not able to provide you with any information regarding an exit. Unfortunately, this unit also has no access to the internet or any other type of information-gathering service." Pod replied.

"... Seriously?"

"Affirmative. This unit will keep trying to access the internet"

I sighed at hearing the grim news

"At least my tools and gun are still here," I said, looking at the tool gun I keep in my left hand and the submachine gun in my right. I am ready to mow down anything that is approaching me.

They are one of the most useful items in any Gmod game, that can spawn anything in the realm of possibility. Gun, vehicles, even an NPC, and a Nuclear Warhead to play around with.

By using the tool gun, I can combat any kind of threat by spawning a variety of different guns.

Laying defense of differend kind of turret, bringing a mini nuclear (Not using it since it cause the cave to collapse), and even edit some of the weapon to fire without worry of running out of ammunition.

Once I have defeated the monster, it vanishes like Thanos has snapped its existence, but in exchange, it drops some kind of beautiful gems.

And when my HUD looked over the name it was called Magic Stone.

Since I thought it could be useful I keep some of them in my Inventory. But since it was a pain to pick up every time I eventually stopped doing that.

But hours later Pod suggested using the Pod Inventory system to pick up the item in my place which I was more than grateful to accept since it was a pain picking up every item.

Judging from the item itself from horn, and sometimes skin it drops. I must be at an RPG server where I can level up if I kill a monster and even receive loot from the monster if I am lucky.

That's the only conclusion I can make for a short period of time, I still have no idea what's the use of these magic stones since I never heard of it from any game.

Since I rarely play RPG games on any GMOD server even in other games it makes me blind to what kind of place or how effective my gun was. All I have been doing is firing the gun and hope for the best that the gun are effective against the monster.

Some of the monsters even have tough armor that I have to rely on Barrett M82 that can penetrate light armor vehicles, which means my weapons are still effective against monsters.

But this whole place has the most strange monster I have ever seen

Floating starfish appeared that fired a friking laser, a mermaid with huge nails, even a huge crab that is 3 times bigger than me, and a unicorn.

Just what kind of place I have been dropping into?

It felt even more strange grabbing the item or any weapon in my hand.

I could feel how heavy the gun was as I felt sore from carrying it, usually, I would tell there was an item in my hand as long as I could see it. But there is never a weighing system where you could tell how heavy the item was.

I can even felt how cold the cave, was and even how hot my gun nuzzle was from a long period of shooting the gun.

Usually playing in this VR, you don't feel tired, feel heavy from carrying the huge items, or feel cold or heat.

But here not only I can feel the item on each and every part of the gun I can feel the weight of the gun and even smell the smoke coming out from the gun.

Even more surprising I was breathing breath fresh air... 

It feels... nostalgic breathing the fresh air, since these days air has been so heavily contaminated that you can't go out without wearing a mask from how populated the air becomes from heavy industry.

The last time I breathed fresh air was when I was a child... And that was still contaminated by pollution even if it was small.

And if you want to breathe fresh air? You can buy it at a nearby store for only 10$... per can. 

And those cans can only be breathed in once so it feels scammed buying it. And the quality are not great either. 

But this air feels a lot better than the one from those cans. It feels more fresh and natural I can breathe it many times without worrying about how expensive it was... I almost forget how it feels to breath freely.

I now understand why most politic would try to buy the cleanest air this planet has to offer even if they have to go bankrupt or even go into debt, it feels a bliss breathing it on it. 

I even felt my health slowly improve just by breathing it, and my stress is lowering as well.

I can feel pain, breathe air, and even feel the world itself like I was living in this world.

Was there... a new update where they added the realistic update to make it more lifelike without me knowing?

But that should not be possible, the last update from the developers of GMOD was 4 years ago. Since then the community have been the one making the game alive.

And last time I checked, the update was just fixing a bug's issues, if they decide to add the realistic update I doubt it would go unnoticed by the public.

It would be more realistic if all of these were modded since the community is more talented than the game developer.

I mean breathing fresh air is already a good update. But it's just theoretically not possible considering it would be a massive update and the process required will be extremely huge and expensive.

Whatever it was, at least they have done a good job on the update.

But man I had a strange feeling deep inside that the cave was alive and constantly watching me. I mean how else could I explain the relentless waves of monsters attacking me when I was at my weakest or when I tried to replenish my ammo?

Even Paddy was surprised when suddenly a monster came out the damn wall and attacked me. It was the first time I saw a monster not spawning from thin air but emerge from fucking wall.

And their number is not small either but a huge number of hundred. Many time I almost died by them.

Not to mention I have no clue on how to get out of this damn cave since how huge this place was. It's also kind of scary when walking alone in this dark cave I can hear the distant sound of a monster making me more nervous.

Even worse I can still feel pain whenever I am attacked.

I already felt scared about staying alone in this place. Good thing Paddy was with me to shine the dark cave and tell me if there was an enemy nearby using its small radar so I am not totaly blind in this cave.

Now the problem still remain... How the heck do I get out of these server? Not only was the exit button is nonexistent but even the support or help system have vanish. Not that I count the support can help since they never answer the call.

The only way I knew to potentially get out of any RPG game was to defeat the boss monster. In every dungeon game that I know of, there was usually a specific condition to clear, often involving defeating the boss or using a specific item that allowed you to get out of the dungeon.

Or I could just head back to where I come in from.

However, I was still stuck on this server since I couldn't find this boss, no item to allow me to go out and there didn't seem to be any other players online to chat with on the server seeing as the player base was all empty other than me.

I mean... it make sense since I was playing a single-player world, but it could be a bug where I was accidentally traveled to another server.

Either this is some kind of new update where I am stuck until those admins fix it or these are some Sword Art Online Bullshit where I have to beat 100 floors and finally get's out

I wish the last one was not happening since I just ordered my pizza and don't want it to get cold or spoil the moment I get out.

... Meh I'll just think positively of it, maybe in a couple of hours the exit button will finally appear again and I can finally get out of this server.

Who knows maybe the pizza man can lift my Vr and I can get out of this damn server.

As I kept walking looking left and right feeling cautious of any danger, I noticed a strange stairway heading upstairs. Where Up there I can see some kind of light coming out of it.

"More stairs," I sighed and began ascending the stairs.

These were the 2 sets of stairs I had found, and each floor offered new enemies that I quickly dispatched with my guns. Paddy gave me information that we are deep underground so he gave me advice that we should go up to the surface using this stair.

I also noticed the monsters seemed to get weaker and fewer monsters with each floor, allowing me to switch to a lighter weapon like a submachine gun to make quick work of them while also allowing me to move faster.

It was pretty difficult for most of them to be killed since there were a lot of them and they had strong durability, so I used a Rifle like an M16 for accurate firing and even some machine gun like an H.U.G.E-249 if I was lazy aiming.

When I managed to arrive on a different floor, I was in awe of the view of the floor.

The new floor was unlike any I had seen before. It stretched out before me, vast and filled with an unnatural landscape. Various unknown plants appeared to thrive in this unique environment, giving it an otherworldly quality.

This place was no longer a cave, but the whole Amazon forest was here.

"Where are we...? I never see something like this."

As I spoke, the chirping of birds reached my ears adding the surreal view of it.

Even the pod seems to stand silently looking around curiously, it's like this place was straight out of Fairy Tail.

As I stood there, captivated by the surreal surroundings, my sense of wonder was suddenly shattered when I noticed a group of monsters converging on me.

I noticed the monster was a lot more different than before, the monster I fought a moment ago was mostly an ocean type like a fish and a crab. But this time I can see a variety of land Monsters like a bee, caterpillar, boar and so on.

So this time I was fighting the land-type monster.

"Alert: A large amount of monsters is coming"

"Yeah yeah, I can see that Paddy" I muttered, quickly regaining my focus, raising my Submachine Gun, and opening fire on the approaching creatures alongside Paddy using its Pod Progam as it began firing massive Laser at the monster.

On another location somewhere deep on Floor 27 was a group of Veteran adventurers.

There were various famous people in this squad including Tione, Tiona, and even Aiz Waleztine itself.

They were none other than the Loki Family expedition team.

And the one that leads this group is none other than Finn himself as he takes the lead right in the front leading them to the surface.

The group was planning to head back to the surface and report to their goddess after encountering the strange new species, but their equipment had been damaged or destroyed, forcing them to end the expedition earlier than expected and return to the surface.

The group then split up into two groups to avoid having the group together consider their huge number and began descending back to the surface safely.

Until they encounter something strange on their path...

Raul exclaimed as he noticed the glint of light on the surface curious about the light he took closer and grabbed it he couldn't help but wonder "Huh? Magic Stones?"

"I see more over here!" "Here too!" "Fresh Monster too."

Various reports echo the cave but when they truly take a closer look at the surroundings they begin to notice hundreds of magic stones, monster body, ingredients scattered around the floor all around them. And many monsters are still left on the ground.

"Who would leave many loot?" "Well free money for us!" "True"

So the Loki Family did not think too much of what just happened and picked up the loot which they considered expensive, and left that was too heavy to carry.

As they continue their journey to the surface. They notice that the monster's body is increasing with each step they take and after 30 minutes of picking up an item and continuing their path, it begins to freak one of them out.

"I have not seen a single monster other than these dead monsters! They even dropped rare items which are not supposed to be that hard to carry!" One of Finn's squad raises the skin of the monster up in the air

"Uwaa, those are hard to come by," Tiona said

"...Adventurers don't typically leave behind such extremely rare materials." Ais Walaztine said, "...unless they don't consider it as an important item."

Finn ponders for a second thinking of the unnatural thing that happened.

He wonders why adventurers would abandon such valuable loot. The number of monsters this person encountered wasn't normal either from what he could see the number of magic stones and bodies of monsters in here. With the number of monsters and magic stones left behind, there must have been nearly 260 of them.

"..Captain" He heard someone call and looked over to see Tione walk to him seemingly tense about something.

"Tione?" It was rare for Tione to get tense 

"Could it be another rare species, like the one we encountered earlier?" Finn mused, placing a hand on his chin as he pondered this new information.

The rare species is a green caterpillar-like monster that can shoot dissolving liquid. It has a different colored magic stone than normal monsters. It explodes upon death

It's also hostile to other monsters, which upon killing the said monster grab the magic stone stored inside and eat it in order for them to evolve.

Of course, as a monster, they are not interested in Items like skins, horn which usually drop from monsters. They are only interested in the magic stone which allows them to evolve.

"From the surroundings, it seems like we're dealing with adventurers who aren't interested in monster loot, and you know monsters don't leave a magic Stone behind" I pointed out, gesturing toward the leftover holes as Finn closed in. "Besides there's evidence of residual magic. with proof of various holes here"

There were looks of understanding across their face as they took a closer look at the leftover attack.

From what the Finn could understand from how the battle went on, the dungeon sensed weakness within the adventurers and sent a monster party to attack them, but considering the number of scattered magic stones and items. He thinks the dungeon must have failed to eliminate the said adventure.

A common occurrence in the dungeon so he was not really surprised.

"Firepower, speed, and magic... must be level 4 archer," He mused, causing the entire party to widen their eyes.

"..Who could it be?"

"I only count a few who can be level 3 archers on our own family"

The number of adventures reaching Level 4 is already rare itself, but an archer? Finn already counted a few that could be a culprit since reaching a high level of archery is already difficult considering that it was hard to supply arrows and quality for them.

That's why most adventurers who are high-level are Closer quarter combat and a magician.

"Could it be someone from the Freya Familia?" Raul voiced his opinion, prompting everyone to turn and look at him. "H-huh, what's wrong?"

Paul's answer could be right, Finn could count a few of the adventures that could reach level 4 inside the Freya Family.

But the question remains, why would a member of the Freya family do on the 26 Floor? Most of their member was spent in the stadium fighting each other trying their best to level up so there would be no reason for one of their member being here.

Unless it was under Goddes Freya's order.

But seeing as it won't go anywhere and there are still injuries Finn has to worry about the last battle, Finn decides to end the discussion itself "Don't take it too seriously it's just a wild guess."

"But..."

"Besides even if it was true I doubt they would try to do anything to us"

"I guess..." Paul said

"Come on since this 'adventure' doesn't want the loot, Let's just pick up the rare loot for ourselves and head back home." Finn finishes it by winking at them

Everyone nodded hesitantly, and they resumed the expedition. Not before picking up some of the rare loot itself.

But Finn can't help but worry when his thump keeps shaking, but Finn knows they have no choice but to keep going.

He was on the verge of resuming his walk when he suddenly realized he had stepped on something. Glancing down, he caught a glimpse of a reflective object. Curious, he picked it up and examined a round, metallic yellow item in his hand.

After examining the metallic, round, yellow object, he shrugged and decided to stow it away in his pocket for future research.

Welcome to the brand new series called GMOD AT DANMACHI

This was one of the series I developed around 2023, I was a fan of Gmod but hated the bad writing on GMOD fanfic so I decided to make a fresh Gmod crossover with Danmachi with good writing and backstory that actually made sense. The second reason why I made it is because, in early 2023, there was already a preview that around late 2024 there would be an anime of it. So I decided to make a series based on it.

Even though I said it is good, there is barely any usage of good, instead, he will frequently use what's called [Character Usage]

I won't spoil it since it will ruin the surprise also I plan to add NSFW in future chapters a LOT if you are curious you can check on my patreon
