When Gu Jun saw Feng Mo appear in an unfamiliar command center, he was taken aback. The sheer scale of the bridge made it evident that Feng Mo was aboard no ordinary ship. Could this be a quasi-T6 starship? Or perhaps a true T6?
The command center of the Vermilion Ape was enormous—spanning 50,000 square meters. By comparison, the T3-class Storm had only a few hundred square meters, and even the Hurricane and Storm God had bridges of only a few thousand square meters each. For a ship this massive, only a T6-class warship could justify such space.
"Uncle Gu," Feng Mo said with a confident smile, "this is the T6-class Vermilion Ape, the latest interstellar battleship designed by the Storm Empire. With the Vermilion Ape and the Battle Planet, we can counter and overwhelm those three T6 mechanized warships. Rest assured, Uncle Gu—this battle might inflict a decisive blow on the mechanized forces."
Hearing Feng Mo's words gave Gu Jun a profound sense of reassurance. Feng Mo was no longer the young noble who once needed the support of the Cloud Mountain Fleet; he had become a true ruler, someone who could command respect even from the Federation.
"Vermilion Ape, full speed ahead—move to the battlefield!" Feng Mo commanded.
The Vermilion Ape accelerated, reaching 600 knots as it surged toward the conflict zone.
Back on the battlefield, the Storm and Cloud Mountain Fleets, positioned toward the rear of the Federation's formation, had managed to avoid the brunt of the mechanized forces' initial assault. This allowed both fleets a brief but valuable respite.
At that moment, Ai Er demonstrated her prowess as a seasoned general, issuing a rapid series of commands:
"Mountain Sea and Orca, deploy all interstellar drones. Engage auto-targeting systems and execute suicide runs against the mechanized fleet."
"Storm Fleet, prepare main and auxiliary disintegrator cannons, T5 Pegasus, and Fleet Steed-class missiles. Mountain Sea, charge disintegrator cannons, neutron guns, and laser arrays!"
Thousands of interstellar drones launched from the Mountain Sea and Orca, hurtling toward the mechanized fleet. Although many were intercepted along the way, nearly 4,000 reached optimal range.
"Commander," Xing Shuwen reported, "the Storm Fleet's disintegrator cannons and auxiliary weapons are fully charged and ready for orders."
With a resolute nod, Ai Er gave the order: "Initiate auto-targeting. Lock onto the enemy's T5 mechanized fleet. Saturation bombardment—fire!"
At her command, nearly 4,000 drones launched their onboard missiles, creating a web of laser fire that enveloped the target warships. Suicide drones charged at locked targets, ensuring mutual destruction with the enemy's T5 mechanized warships.
Meanwhile, five T5 Pegasus ships and forty Fleet Steeds unleashed a barrage of over 11,200 T5 interstellar missiles. Beams from disintegrator cannons and dozens of main cannons from the Storm Fleet, including the Mountain Sea, cut through the void, disintegrating all T5 mechanized ships in their path and crashing into the enemy's flagship shields.
More than 2,000 beams rained down upon the mechanized fleet, a massive red beam splitting apart and incinerating T5 ships. The diminished beam struck a T6 mechanized warship, breaking through its shields in concert with the strikes from interstellar drones.
Seeing the opportunity, Mello and her sister commanded the T5 Mystic Birds to unleash a full barrage of neutron missiles. However, the enemy T6 warship, anticipating this, disengaged its engine restraints, accelerating swiftly to evade many of the missiles.
Several T5 mechanized ships advanced in formation, deploying a laser interception grid that neutralized the majority of the neutron missiles. While seven T5 warships fell, the T6 mechanized ship remained intact.
In the mechanized command center, the bald commander watched the T6 ship survive the neutron missile strike with a satisfied smirk. "The same trick won't work twice," he muttered.
He then turned his gaze to the Federation fleets, struggling against the onslaught from two T6 mechanized warships and over twenty T5 mechanized units. The commander burst into laughter.
But his smug expression quickly transformed into one of shock. The screens showed a massive brown beam piercing through a high-speed T6 mechanized warship. A new presence had entered the battlefield—a colossal, silver warship. The ship unleashed ten azure beams in rapid succession, shattering ten T5 mechanized warships along with their shields.
Three more brown beams struck, shattering the shields of another T6 warship and puncturing its hull. A secondary explosion consumed the ship in a fiery ball.
In mere moments, twelve mechanized warships, including two T6 and ten T5 units, had been obliterated.
"Radar scan complete. Detected: T6 interstellar battleship," an electronic voice reported.
"A T6 interstellar battleship?" Zhongming exclaimed in astonishment. Could the Federation possess a T6 warship? As a high-ranking official, he would have known. Unless...
Zhongming's eyes narrowed as he glanced toward the Storm Fleet's command feed, noticing that Ai Er, a succubus, had taken the command seat while Feng Mo was nowhere in sight. His suspicions grew stronger.
In the Vermilion Ape's command center, Feng Mo decided not to hide any longer. He entered the Federation command chatroom, his face appearing on video feeds across the command centers.
All commanders fell silent, realizing that the mysterious T6 battleship was indeed Feng Mo's creation.
"Everyone, leave the final T6 mechanized warship to the Vermilion Ape. It's time to launch a full-scale counteroffensive and deliver a heavy blow to the mechanized forces."
Feng Mo's voice echoed through each command bridge. While many commanders felt a twinge of jealousy at his engineering brilliance, their strategic sense prevailed. Each commander swiftly issued orders to launch the counterattack.
