Chapter 228 - Chapter 228: Battle Planet vs. the T6 Mechanoid Warship

The powerful blue beam from the enemy's T6 Mechanoid warship split into multiple fragments, with the largest, most intense blast striking the Battle Planet's shield directly. Captain Han Peipei gripped the armrests of her command chair tightly, watching as the impact forced the massive Battle Planet to slide off course briefly before stabilizing due to its strong structural field.

"Alert! Dark energy matrix shield energy level at zero. Shield has failed. Hull damage at 13%," the system reported.

Hearing this, Han Peipei let out a sigh of relief; the Battle Planet had managed to withstand a direct hit from the T6 warship's main cannon. Now it was her turn to strike back. With a determined look, she issued her command:

"Lock onto the T6 Mechanoid warship! Fire the T5 Blackhole-Class Annihilation Cannon and two T5 Cluster Annihilation Cannons simultaneously!"

Upon her command, a red beam followed closely by two brown beams shot out, heading straight for the T6 warship. The red beam struck first, corroding the shield with its energy, and the two brown beams followed, shattering the weakened shield before crashing into the T6 warship's hull. Though the impact caused some damage, it wasn't enough to disable the warship entirely.

Seeing this opening, Mello and her sister, commanding the ten T5 Mystic Bird stealth bombers, shouted in unison,

"Now's our chance! Lock onto the T6 Mechanoid warship. Fire all T5 Neutron Missiles!"

The ten stealth bombers had been tracking the T6 warship's path carefully. In an instant, a thousand T5 Neutron Missiles launched, leaving bright trails as they converged on the warship below. Inside the Mechanoid warship's control room, mechanical beings scrambled to defend, although there was no captain to command them—only pre-programmed directives.

"Warning! The Mechanoid warship is locked by enemy stealth bombers. One thousand T5 Neutron Missiles detected. Calculating intercept trajectories and initiating defensive countermeasures," the system announced.

The directive was clear: "Activate the laser interception grid. Target interception rate: over 99%."

The T6 Mechanoid warship, lacking a shield, had to rely on its armor to withstand the assault. While it could handle a handful of missiles, a full barrage would be catastrophic. Although their advanced AI calculated each missile's trajectory and activated the laser interception grid, achieving a 99% interception rate was near impossible.

The warship's sleek surface revealed numerous laser cannons, firing beams to create an intricate grid aimed at intercepting the incoming missiles. However, a handful of Neutron Missiles penetrated the laser defense, slamming into the warship's armor and igniting fireballs across its hull.

Mello observed the data on her radar and smiled with relief. The interception rate reached 84%, meaning 160 missiles had struck the T6 Mechanoid warship. Without its shield, it couldn't withstand the impact.

The Neutron Missiles detonated in a fiery display, turning the entire warship into a massive inferno visible across the battlefield. Secondary explosions rippled through the vessel, tearing it apart.

Watching from the Yunshan flagship, Commander Gu Jun, who had been closely monitoring the battle, let out a cheer and laughed heartily. He knew he could always rely on Feng Mo.

Following their victory, Mello's squad of bombers didn't return immediately. Instead, they cloaked once more, positioning themselves stealthily near the Mechanoid Seventh Fleet—the Storm Fleet's next target.

The Mechanoid Seventh Fleet was already struggling against the Black Feather Fleet, but a complete annihilation required more firepower. Suddenly, the Storm Fleet emerged above the Seventh Fleet, launching over 10,000 T5 missiles to blanket the enemy ships.

Thousands of laser cannons followed, weaving a massive web of energy over the Mechanoid ships. The Mechanoid fleet, with its primary and secondary cannons on cooldown, could only attempt a defensive interception. Although their laser grid could intercept around 80% of incoming missiles, over 2,000 missiles still penetrated, tearing through the fleet's ships with devastating explosions.

The laser web from the Storm Fleet's cannons then followed, piercing through the remaining ships. Feng Mo's skillful targeting ensured that critical areas like control rooms, energy tanks, and weapon arrays were hit, systematically dismantling the Seventh Fleet.

The Mechanoid fleet, already heavily damaged from previous battles, was obliterated after just two rounds of bombardment. Feng Mo watched from the Storm God's control room as the enemy fleet's signals vanished from his radar, and he smiled.

"Return to base and prepare to assist the Yunshan Fleet in eliminating the Sixth Fleet," he ordered calmly.

The Yunshan Fleet was now facing the Mechanoid Fifth and Sixth Fleets, with the latter severely weakened from the Battle Planet's earlier assault.
