Chapter 229 - Chapter 229: The Quasi-T6 Fleet Enters the Battle

After the Storm Fleet returned to the Vermillion Star Fortress, they docked and began a one-hour resupply through the interstellar jump ship. Feng Mo contacted Mello for an update on their status.

"Commander, the ten T5 Mystic Bird bombers were shadowing the Mechanoid Seventh Fleet, but before we could strike, the fleet was wiped out," Mello reported.

"Then proceed to the Sixth Fleet," Feng Mo responded with a smile. The ten bombers immediately set out for their new target.

Meanwhile, the Battle Planet was returning to the asteroid belt near the fortress, its massive hull undergoing repairs by three T5 Artisan-class industrial ships. Although the internal systems remained intact, the hull armor had sustained some damage.

With the enemy T6 Mechanoid warship destroyed and the Seventh Fleet annihilated, the morale of the Federation fleets surged. Without the threat of the T6 ship, the Federation now held the advantage. Back at the Vermillion Star Fortress, the Federation's First Fleet commander, Zhong Ming, prepared for action.

"First Fleet, prepare to deploy," Zhong Ming ordered. "Let the galaxy witness the might of a Federation-controlled quasi-T6 fleet!"

Before departing, Zhong Ming initiated a video call with Feng Mo. "Commander, I'd like to request use of the Storm Fleet's T5 interstellar jump ship to teleport the First Fleet into the heart of the battle."

Feng Mo agreed readily, seeing an opportunity for the Storm Fleet to resupply and then launch an assault on the Mechanoid Sixth Fleet. He gave the order to the Jiliang to open a jump gate according to the coordinates Zhong Ming provided.

Within minutes, a radiant blue portal appeared in space. As the Federation's First Fleet began to pass through, Zhong Ming couldn't help but be impressed by the power and efficiency of Feng Mo's fleet. The Jiliang's jump gate had only been seen in videos, but witnessing it in person was awe-inspiring.

"Thank you, Commander Feng Mo," Zhong Ming said before guiding his fleet through the portal.

As the Federation's First Fleet advanced onto the battlefield, the sight of a quasi-T6 fleet, with 132 quasi-T6 ships and 308 T5 ships, left a strong impression on the commanders of both sides. The Federation's First Fleet immediately engaged a weaker Mechanoid fleet, launching a devastating salvo that severely crippled the enemy forces.

Taking advantage of the First Fleet's dramatic entrance, the Storm Fleet silently slipped behind the Mechanoid Sixth Fleet, positioning themselves to create a deadly pincer with the Yunshan Fleet.

With the battlefield's focus on the Federation's First Fleet, the Storm Fleet's arrival went unnoticed. As per protocol, the Storm Fleet's five T5 Pegasus ships launched over 10,000 tracking missiles, which then split into 40,000 projectiles, saturating the Sixth Fleet in explosions. Mello's ten T5 Mystic Birds fired an additional 8,000 missiles and torpedoes before immediately retreating, ensuring they played a crucial role without exposing themselves to counterattack.

Amidst the chaos, the Mechanoid Sixth Fleet, already weakened, was caught in a deadly crossfire. The concerted firepower from both the Yunshan Fleet and the Storm Fleet soon left the Sixth Fleet in ruins.
