"But when it comes to being both powerful and striking, it's really Akira, Bakugo, and Todoroki," Kirishima said, his eyes full of admiration. "Your moves are so intense and flashy!"
"Don't lump me together with the guy who uses lightning," Bakugo Katsuki snapped. "And why am I the last in your lineup?"
"Bakugo's always going wild, not sure that'll be very popular," Tsuyu commented bluntly.
"What are you saying, you frog-faced freak? Of course I will be!" Bakugo growled, his temper flaring up instantly.
Tsuyu just pointed at Bakugo calmly. "See? That's what I mean—he's always so quick to go off the rails."
"Honestly, I've only known you for a bit, but your temper's worse than trash," Kaminari teased, clearly unfazed.
"What kind of nonsense is that, you idiot? I'll kill you!" Bakugo shouted, fists clenched, ready to lash out at his classmates.
"Wow, Bakugo's actually getting bullied… Never thought I'd see the day!" Midoriya muttered in amazement, hands on his head in disbelief.
Yaoyorozu, watching the scene, shook her head. "Such crude conversation," she murmured, covering her mouth to hide a small smile. Akira's eyes wandered over to her, momentarily entranced.
Nearby, Mineta Minoru glared at Akira, grumbling to himself. *There he goes, staring at Yaoyorozu again. Lucky jerk…* He shot Akira a look of pure jealousy, though he knew he couldn't confront him.
Finally, Aizawa's voice cut through the chatter. "Enough already. Focus," he said flatly, his tone making it clear he was done with the noise.
Everyone immediately quieted down.
When they arrived at their destination, Akira felt a sense of dread bubbling under his calm exterior. The Villain Alliance would soon strike, and he estimated they had about ten minutes before chaos ensued.
"Class, I've been waiting for you," a voice greeted them.
"Whoa! It's Space Hero Thirteen!" The students gasped excitedly.
Thirteen, a true professional in disaster rescue, nodded at them. "I'm so glad you could join me today."
"I love Space Hero Thirteen!" Uraraka Ochaco exclaimed, covering her face with delight.
Akira wanted to warn Aizawa about the impending attack but hesitated. He worried it would make him seem suspicious—possibly even a spy. *Maybe I should just go with the flow,* he thought. *After all, with All Might here, they'll likely be able to handle the situation.*
"Let's head inside," Thirteen said, motioning toward the training ground.
As they entered, Akira took in the vast space, awed by its size and complexity. Multiple disaster scenarios had been set up, replicating various natural catastrophes in a strikingly realistic way.
"Wow, this is incredible! Is this really the U.S.J.?" the students murmured in awe.
"Yes, it's designed for training in all kinds of rescue situations," Thirteen said, gesturing around. "We have zones for floods, landslides, fires, storms, and more."
"The perfect simulated disaster training ground," Aizawa added. "Though… where's All Might?"
Thirteen looked a bit flustered. "He, uh, pushed himself to his limit on the way here and had to rest. He should be able to join us later, near the end of the session."
Aizawa sighed. "That's just typical…"
In the lounge, All Might wiped sweat from his brow. "Sorry about this," he muttered to himself, frustrated by his own limits.
Thirteen continued her lecture. "My Quirk, *Black Hole,* can suck in and crush anything. That's why I can rescue people in dangerous situations."
"Yes, it's truly incredible," Midoriya said, practically vibrating with excitement as he took notes.
"But my Quirk can also be deadly," Thirteen continued, her tone serious. "That's why it's important to understand your own power. Many of you have Quirks that are just as dangerous."
Several students looked in Akira's direction, though he pretended not to notice. He figured it was better to let Bakugo and Todoroki share some of the spotlight for a change.
"Remember," Thirteen went on, "in a society full of Quirks, our strength can easily be used for harm instead of good. I want you to understand that your powers don't exist to hurt others but to save them. That's the true purpose of being a hero."
Her words seemed to resonate with everyone, especially Midoriya, whose eyes sparkled with newfound resolve.
Just then, Akira sensed something—an ominous shift. *They're here,* he realized, his heart pounding.
Suddenly, the lights flickered, and the central fountain stopped. In the middle of the arena, a purple-black vortex began to swirl ominously. A figure stepped out—Kurogiri, the shadowy villain, with an eerie calm.
"Everyone, get together and don't move!" Aizawa commanded, instantly on alert. "Thirteen, protect the students."
"What is that?" Some students gasped as they saw a man with a hand covering his face emerge from the mist, accompanied by a horde of bizarre and dangerous-looking individuals.
Eijiro Kirishima scratched his head. "Is this some kind of weird entrance exam test?"
Aizawa donned his goggles. "Those are real villains," he said grimly.
The students could hardly believe it. Villains here, invading U.A. grounds—none of them had expected such a bold attack.
Akira remained calm amid the rising panic, taking stock of the villains pouring through Kurogiri's portal. He noted the odd number of enemies—there were more than he remembered from the original story.
Then, a hulking figure emerged—a monstrous Nomu, with two more similar beasts following close behind.
Akira's eyes widened. *Three Nomus? This isn't going to be easy.*
As Akira stared at the three monstrous Nomus, a chill ran down his spine. This was way beyond what he'd prepared for. The original scenario had been tough enough, but now they were seriously outnumbered.
"Everyone, stay close and follow my instructions," Aizawa said, taking a step forward, his face serious and unflinching. "Thirteen, keep the students back. This is no drill."
Kurogiri's mist swirled around ominously, and then Shigaraki Tomura stepped forward, his unsettling grin widening as he eyed the group of young heroes. His gaze lingered on each of them, seemingly assessing their potential.
"So… no All Might, huh?" Shigaraki's voice had a raspy, almost mocking edge. "Looks like we're here to play with just the kids today."
Akira clenched his fists. *It's worse than I expected. I need to be smart about this.*
"Stay back, you're not equipped to fight this level of threat!" Aizawa warned, putting himself between the students and the villains. "Thirteen, if any of them get past me, get the students out."
Thirteen nodded, her face set with determination as she guided the students further back.
"Should we really be running?" Kirishima muttered, his fists clenching. "We came here to learn to fight."
"Yeah, but this is serious…" Midoriya's voice wavered. "We're not ready to face villains like these."
"We're heroes in training, aren't we?" Bakugo snapped, a wicked grin spreading across his face. "I'm not backing down from some freaks. Bring it on!" His hands crackled with small explosions as he prepared to jump into the fray.
"Bakugo, are you crazy?" Akira hissed, grabbing his arm. "If you charge in recklessly, you'll get yourself killed! Let Aizawa handle it for now."
Bakugo jerked his arm free, his fiery gaze challenging. "Maybe you're the one who's too scared to do what's necessary."
Before they could argue further, a sudden roar echoed through the arena as one of the Nomus lunged forward, closing the distance with shocking speed. Aizawa reacted immediately, activating his Erasure Quirk, and the Nomu stumbled as its abilities vanished. Without missing a beat, Aizawa launched into an attack, using his capture weapon to immobilize it.
"Whoa…" Midoriya whispered, awestruck. "He's…he's handling it!"
The relief was short-lived, though. The second Nomu stepped forward, undeterred, and Aizawa's attention was momentarily split. Shigaraki saw his opening.
"Distract him, Nomu!" Shigaraki ordered, his eyes gleaming with twisted anticipation. The third Nomu surged forward, its massive fist aimed right at Aizawa.
Just then, Akira's instincts kicked in. He knew this was a critical moment. Aizawa was about to be overwhelmed, and the students behind him were far too exposed.
"Guys, fall back!" Akira shouted to his classmates. "Spread out so we're not easy targets!"
Uraraka and Midoriya looked uncertain, but Akira's confidence was contagious, and they quickly moved, helping others retreat. Meanwhile, Bakugo stood his ground, firing off a series of controlled explosions toward one of the Nomus to distract it.
"Guess we're doing this," Bakugo said with a smirk, his eyes flashing with the thrill of battle.
Akira stepped forward, gripping his fists tight. *If I want to change things, this is my chance.*
"Akira, what are you doing?" Todoroki asked, his voice tense. "We're supposed to stay back!"
"We can't just let them overwhelm Aizawa," Akira replied. "I have a plan, but I'll need backup."
Todoroki gave a small nod. "Fine, but don't do anything reckless."
Akira took a deep breath. His Quirk flared to life, energy surging through his body. This was a risk, but if they could delay the villains even a little, it might give Aizawa the chance he needed to regain control.
The first Nomu turned its attention to Akira, its gaze empty yet filled with a dark, unshakable intensity. It charged forward, and Akira braced himself. With a swift sidestep, he dodged its attack, then countered with a powerful kick, hoping to slow it down. It staggered, if only for a moment, before swinging a massive arm toward him.
At that moment, Todoroki launched a stream of ice, creating a thick wall between Akira and the Nomu.
"Good call, Todoroki," Akira said, catching his breath. "We're not strong enough to beat them, but we can at least stall them."
Kaminari grinned from behind them. "Let me join in!" He directed an electric charge at another group of approaching villains, momentarily stunning them.
"Impressive work, but don't get cocky!" Aizawa shouted, his gaze focused on the battle. "Stay focused, or they'll turn this on you in a second."
The fight raged on, with each student using their Quirk to assist Aizawa, forming a chaotic yet determined resistance against the villains. Shigaraki watched the unfolding battle with a twisted smile, clearly intrigued by the students' resilience.
"Interesting… but you're all still just kids," he sneered, signaling for Kurogiri to prepare for another strike.
A sense of dread crept over Akira as he realized Shigaraki wasn't done. *We need to hold out just a little longer. All Might should arrive soon… I hope.*
As the Nomus closed in again, Akira squared his shoulders, ready to fight to the end if he had to.
