"Message!"
In the circular arena on the sixth floor, Momonga was trying to contact the GM and the other companions, except for Genji. After a long wait with no response, Momonga let out a sigh. The event had long since occurred, yet disappointment weighed heavily on him.
Suddenly, he heard Sebas's voice in his ear. "Yes, how may I assist you, Lord Momonga?"
Momonga was taken aback; he was surprised that the Message had even been received. Momonga remain silent due to the tediousness of it all, Sebas asked again, "Is there anything you need?"
"Ah... I... I was just lost in thought. By the way, what's the situation like around here?"
"Yes, the vicinity is a plain; no intelligent beings have been detected."
"A plain? ... Isn't it supposed to be a swamp?" The area surrounding the Great Tomb of Nazarick was mostly swampy and even toxic, shrouded in mist and inhabited by frog-like monsters.
"Indeed, it's just a plain."
Momonga couldn't help but chuckle lightly; this situation felt rather absurd. Had the entire tomb really been transported to some unknown place?
"Is there anything else to report?" he asked.
"No, there are no signs of any man-made structures, just the same starry sky as the sixth floor."
"Starry sky?"
"Yes."
Ah, he thought to himself; perhaps this was reality after all. His gaze shifted to the ongoing battle between the fire elemental he summoned and Aulra and Mare. Where were his items?
After a simple attempt, he discovered he could summon them out of thin air, as if his hand were diving into a lake, retrieving all his items. The quantity was astonishing.
Feeling reassured, Momonga smiled. But soon, Demiurge appeared at his side, bowing respectfully. "Esteemed Lord Momonga."
Taken aback, Momonga glanced at the ring on Demiurge's hand. 'Ainz Ooal Gown's ring!'
He asked, astonished, "Demiurge, where did you get that ring?"
"Forgive me, my lord. This ring was given to me by Lord Genji."
"I see."
"By the way, Lord Momonga, Lord Genji recommended concealing the Great Tomb of Nazarick to avoid attracting more trouble."
He hadn't expected that fellow to think so far ahead.
"Demiurge, where is Genji now?"
"Reporting to you, Lord Momonga, Lord Genji and Leticiel have gone outside to assess the situation."
"Understood. It seems I can't just sit here idly. Gather the guardians; let's begin our actions."
What kind of actions should they take next? They should continue gathering clues, but the circumstances of this world remained unclear. Despite the presence of Lord Genji, caution was still necessary. What if other travelers appeared, especially those at the top level, wielding "world-class items"? They had to be meticulous in collecting information.
Momonga silently looked up at the starry sky of the sixth floor. If this was another world, should they return to their original one? No, even if they went back to the real world, he would be alone; at least here, he had Genji.
After notifying the guardians, he changed into travel attire and made his way outside the tomb. Demiurge followed behind him, the same one he had encountered on the first floor.
Upon leaving the shrine, an array of breathtaking scenery unfolded before his eyes. Gazing at the beautiful night sky, Momonga sighed deeply; such sights were beyond his imagination in the real world. He had never seen a night sky so clear.
With armor obstructing his movements, he reached into his spatial pocket and retrieved a necklace shaped like a bird.
"Flight."
As he broke free from the shackles of gravity, he floated gently into the sky and accelerated upward in a straight line.
Seeing this, Demiurge spread his wings and hurriedly followed behind him.
How high had they ascended? Hundreds of meters? Thousands? Even to heights resembling clouds.
As he looked at the sky, Momonga couldn't help but exclaim, "It's so beautiful! No, saying it's beautiful isn't enough to describe it... I wonder how 'Blue Planet' would portray this scene."
Lost in his thoughts, the sound of flapping wings caught his attention. Suddenly, Demiurge, now transformed, appeared before him.
Momonga shifted his gaze away from the sparkling stars to speak. "To think everything could be seen just by starlight and moonlight; it's hard to believe this is reality—the Blue Planet."
"The twinkling lights are like a treasure chest," he mused.
"Perhaps so; this world is so beautiful, it must be meant to adorn you and the Lord Genji," Demiurge commented, offering flattery.
The sudden praise interrupted Momonga's nostalgia for his past companions, and he felt a surge of irritation. However, the beauty of the scenery quickly erased his anger.
"It truly is beautiful. These stars are meant to adorn me and Genji, embellishing the Great Tomb of Nazarick, a creation shared with my companions in 'Ainz Ooal Gown.'"
"What a charming sentiment! If it is your and Lord Genji's wish, with a mere command, I would lead the entire Nazarick army to conquer this world and present it to the supreme beings. It would be my greatest honor," Demiurge proclaimed, feigning earnestness.
Momonga chuckled softly, wondering if Demiurge was also immersed in the beauty of the scenery.
"Since I still don't know what kinds of creatures inhabit this world, I must say your idea is rather foolish. We may only be very insignificant existences here. But perhaps conquering the world could be an interesting endeavor; Genji might think so too."
The thought of world conquest reminded him of Genji Ulbert, Lucifer, and the various amulets.
In the past, guild members would jokingly suggest, "Let's conquer one of the worlds in YGGDRASIL together."
He knew that the most intelligent of Nazarick, Demiurge, would understand that world conquest was just a child's play.
"Once, Genji also mentioned that conquering this world with friends would surely be enjoyable."
Demiurge's mouth dropped in shock. He hadn't expected that Lord Momonga before him was contemplating world conquest, and Lord Genji had likely thought of this long ago. What a grand idea!
Momonga didn't turn to look at Demiurge; he simply gazed at the endless land meeting the horizon with the starry sky.
"This unknown world... Are we truly the only ones here, just me and Genji? Have other guild members arrived in this world too?"
"If so, then we need to let the whole world know the name 'Ainz Ooal Gown'..."
If his companions were here, perhaps they would hear him. That person would surely come.
"Let the name 'Ainz Ooal Gown' echo throughout the world!"
Demiurge pushed up his glasses, imprinting everything from tonight deeply into his mind.
