Chapter 12

Don was standing on the edge of his ship as he looked up to the sea. In front of them was the town of Arton. "This is the town that Kekela was apparently ruling. Captain Erick was last seen here yesterday." Himá says with a straight face. "Ahh it doesn't matter, someone in this town knows where he went…" Don says as he held his chin. "Is there something wrong Captain?" Himá asks with a curious face. "I'm just a little confused." Don says, now looking at the wooden floor of his ship. "About?" She asks him with a straight face now.
Page 2-
"Although it's true that Kekela was a titan of the sea, that was almost ten years ago, why would Grey Beard be so concerned about that kid right now? At best the kid sounds like a slightly better than average Captain." Don says with a confused face but then he looks up with a face of shock. "Captain?" Himá asks as she looks at him with a face of slight worry. "That sneaky bastard! Himá call the Coastal Guard now and tell them to send Captain Kalan to Rory's grave stone now!" Don yells with urgency, causing Himá to turn around and sprint toward the phone, picking it up frantically. "Captain, they want to know what's the emergency." Himá says in a calm tone. "Grey beard… is going after Rory's Mountain berry." Don says with a face of rage, causing Himá's face to widen with shock.

A large hole was in the ground beneath the impact of Erick's fist and Gena's technique and in the middle of the hole was Erick, unconscious. Gena had fallen back onto the moss and was also unconscious from the explosion. Chopper had walked up to the edge of the hole and saw that Erick was unconscious. "Not my best work but… Thorne should still be happy." Chopper says as he opens his fist. "Munch berry: Hippo." Chopper says with a soft tone as the skeletal jaw of a hippo appears around Erick's body. Chopper begins to close his fist but before he could his eyes widen as Trick appears beside him with fire on his left arm. "You forget about me?" He says with a smirk.
Page 4-
Choppers eyes widen as he jumps back slightly, causing the jaws around Erick's body to disappear. "So you need to be looking at the target to use that power huh?" Trick asks him with a smirk. Chopper grunts with an annoyed tone as he pulls out his machete. "You're such a pest… Brown Beard." Chopper says with a sly grin. Trick's eyes widen as he heard that name. "How do you know that name?" He says with a distraught face. "What? Did I strike a nerve or something?" Chopper says as he gets into a fighting stance. Trick quickly pulls out his sword with his right hand and a face of anger as he now had his entire left arm engulfed in flames and a pirate sword in his right hand.
Page 5-
Chopper dashes at Trick, reeling back a devastating slash, as Trick dashed at Chopper and his blade began to coat itself with the fire from his arm. As the two of them clash Jonah slides down into the hole and grabs Erick, throwing him on his back. Erick slightly opens his eyes as he groans in pain. "Where are you going?" Erick asks him in a groggy and tired voice. "We're leaving… we can get out of here while those two fight." Jonah says as he begins moving toward the mossy shore. "Jonah you can't." Erick says a little louder this time. "Now isn't the time for arguing Erick." Jonah says as he continues moving toward the shore. "No jonah… he saved me!" Erick says, causing Jonah's eyes to widen and he stopped moving.
Page 6-
"So what do you want me to do then?" Jonah asks with an annoyed tone. "I just need to rest for five minutes then I'll be able to help you guys." Erick says as he slides off of Jonah's back and onto the grassy floor. "You guys? What do you mean you guys?" Jonah asks with a baffled face. "Well yeah, you gotta help him Jonah or he'll die." Erick says with a worried and sincere tone. Jonah grunts as he stands completely up and begins to put his silver brass knuckles onto his hand. "If he dies while I'm there then it's not on me." Jonah says as he turns back to Chopper and Trick. "Thanks Jonah!" Erick says with a wide smile. "Yeah… whatever." Jonah says in a rude tone as he runs off to help Trick.

Don steps foot onto the harbor of Arton and after him came Himá and fifty soldiers wearing light blue army uniforms. "I knew I remembered this towns name for something… This is where Kuma the Bomber retired, isn't it Himá?" Don asks with a smirk on his face. "I believe that is correct Captain. The Government data base states that Kuma the Bomber was a former titan of the sea, number eight at his peak. His bounty reached fifty million Estos ." Himá says as she looks at a clipboard with some papers on it. Don begins to chuckle and smile widely. "I like those odds." Don says as Himá hands the clipboard to one of the soldiers behind them.
Page 8-
Don, Himá, and his men all walk down the harbor and onto the stone path of Arton, causing all of the towns people to turn around with fear. "Is that the Coastal Guard?" One man whispers. "Yeah but not just that, it's Captain Don's team!" One man says back with fear. Himá steps beside Don with a straight face before she spoke. "If any of you have information on the whereabouts of Captain Erick Drake then please step forward and speak with us." Himá says in a calm but demanding voice. Kuma steps through the crowd of people with a straight face as he stops about seven feet from Himá. Don smiles widely as he does this. "We have nothing to say to the government." Kuma says in a stern tone. Himá raises her right eyebrow as she places her hand on her sword.
Page 9-
Don places his hand on her shoulder, causing her to loosen her grip on her sword. "There's no need for that Kuma, just tell us where he went and your little retirement home will be fine." Don says with a grin. Kuma smiles as three men step behind him. One of them was an overweight man who wore a Vikings helmet with overalls and in his hand was a two sided axe, This was Gorful the Vice Captain for the white-white exploration team. Another man wore no shirt but had a tattoo of a dragon on his chest going to his back. He had long black hair and a scruffy beard. This was Drako, the Navigator for the White-white exploration team. The last man was skinny and had a long white T-shirt that didn't fit him, with long baggy jeans, he had bags under his eyes as if he were always tired. This was Marcus The third highest ranking member of the white-white exploration team. Himá steps back slightly with surprise. "Is this really the way you want to go about this? Over some Rookie?" Don asks with a grin. Kuma looks at him with a smirk. "That boy… saved my family." Kuma says with a straight face.
Page 10-
Don looks into the crowd and sees Kora and her three kids staring at Kuma with a face of worry. "Please Kuma… your children are watching." Don says with a genuine face. "Kick his butt dad!" Kuma's son yells. "Yeah we aren't scared of the government!" Kuma's other son yells. Don looks at Kuma, who was smirking at him. Kuma and his three men stared at Don, Himá, and the fifty soldiers behind them, in anticipation of what may happen next. Don suddenly smiles widely as he blitzed Kuma, causing Kuma to react with a shocked face but still block the attack. At the same time Himá dashes in with her sword, in an attempt to aid Don but Gorful blocks he strike with his Axe while bearing a smile on his face. "Hey! Let the captains handle their business." He says as Marcus and Drako appear behind him. "Yeah you worry about us, kid" Drako says with a smirk. Marcus yawns as if he were tired.
Page 11-
Himá slides back and looks at them with a straight face. "I understand that in the past you three were formidable…" she says as she breathes out a breath of cold air. "… but this is not that time." Himá says as ice begins to coat the last few inches of her blade. "Now… get out of my way!" Himá exclaims as she dashes at all three of them. Gorful matches her strike with his axe and as he had a smile on his face he quickly began to light up with confusion as the top of his axe began to freeze. Himá moves her sword slightly, causing the edge of the axes blade to break and as Gorful looked at his broken axe with a shocked face, Himá kicks him in the gut, sending him flying into a building next to them. Himá stands upright and breathes out another breath of cold air as she looks at Drako and Marcus with a straight face, causing Drako to grin but Marcus still kept the same tired face, yawning as she looked at them.
Page 12-
Kuma and Don were still clashing. Kuma was sweating and had an intense look on his face, while Don was laughing with a wide smile. "Come on Kuma, we're too old to be fighting like this!" Don says with a wide smile causing Kuma's eyes to widen and then Jump back from the clash. "Come back here!" Don yells as he blitzes Kuma. Kuma threw some pebbles that he had picked up from the ground as Don ran at him. Don ran past the pebbles but as soon as he did his eyes widened with shock and he looked at Kuma, who bore a slight grin. Suddenly all of the pebbles Kuma had thrown exploded with the power of a hand grenade in each one. "GYAHHHH!!!" Don yells with pain as his body was engulfed by the explosion.
Page 13-
Himá snapped her head back with shock as a large pile of flames lay where the explosion had happened. "CAPTAIN!!" Himá yells with worry but as she does this everyone hears a deep chuckle. "My dear student…" Don says as his shadow appears within the flames and clouds begin to appear and darken the sky. "…don't be so nearsighted…" Don says as thunder begins to clap but there were no lightning bolts. "…you must remember me when I'm dead…" he says as the thunder gets deeper and louder and lightning begins to form in one singular cloud. "…but for now…" Don says as the lighting begins to fester within the clouds and sparks begin to escape it. "…GAZE UPON MY GLORY!!!" Don yells as the lightning releases from the cloud and hits Don directly.
Page 14-
Himá, Kuma and his crew men and the entire crowd stared in shock as the bolt of lightning struck Don. "So this… is your Aura Captain!" Himá says with wide eyes and a face of pure surprise. The lightning stops as the clouds begin to disappear and the sun begins to shine again. Don walks out of a small cloud of smoke with sparks of black and blue lightning trying to escape his body. He bore a wide smile and began walking toward Kuma. Kuma looked back at him with a straight face. Don began laughing loudly. "My apologies, why would my Aura be more frightening than Rory's?" Don says as he chuckles. "Gorful…" Kuma says with a stern voice as Gorful steps out of the hole he was put into. "Yes Captain?" He says as he dusts himself off. "I think it's time we kick it up a notch, yeah?" Kuma asks with a smirk.
Page 15-
Gorful walks beside Kuma with a wide smile on his face and his axe in his hand. "What do you think boys?" Gorful asks with a wide smile. Drako smiles as the tattoo on his body begins to glow a bright red. "Sure thing Captain." He says as he begins to stretch his left shoulder. "Although I don't think Marcus is hyped up yet." Drako says with a smile as Marcus stood there with the same tired face, yawning as he looked at Himá. "Himá!" Don exclaims as he stared at Kuma and Gorful, causing her to turn her head quickly towards him. "How are you feeling?" He asks her with a genuine smile. "The government will surely dock our pay if we destroy a prosperous town like Arton." She says with a straight face as Don then began to laugh loudly. "Then let's be gentle." Don says as he looks back at Kuma and Gorful.
Page 16-
Gorful chuckles as small sparks begin to shoot from his axe. "I haven't had to use the spark berry in so long, I may be rusty Captain!" He says with a wide smile. Don begins walking toward them with black and blue lightning coming from his right fist. "By the Coastal Guard code I must ask you one more time…" Don says as he looks at them with a straight face but all four of them were smiling without an ounce of fear within their faces. "Hey Don, spare me the lecture, me and you both know how this goes." Kuma says with a smirk. Himá clutches her blade tightly as she breathes out cold air. Don began to smile as Kuma said these words and a laugh escaped his mouth as the lightning on his fist began to grow in size.

Meanwhile in the Capital of West Estoria… a woman wearing a white jacket, similar to Dons, was walking through a large room. On the right side of her jacket she had twelve gold medals on her coat. The woman had bright red lipstick with dirty blonde hair. In front of her were ten seats with shadowy figures sitting in each one of them. "This must be serious if you called me." The woman says with a sly and promiscuous voice. "Now isn't the time for games Captain Kalan!" One of the voices exclaims in a deep voice. "My apologies, what can I do for the government?" She says in a sarcastic tone. "Go to Rory's burial sight and bring the mountain berry back to us." Another one of the voices says in a high pitch and feminine voice. "Am I to be expecting someone?" Kalan asks with a smirk. "Grey beard." One of the voices say in a deep voice. "Hm. Grey beard huh… well this should be fun." She says with a smirk and a promiscuous tone.
